Two Maryland teens admit to assaulting boy with autism

Two teenage girls in southern Maryland bullied an apparently autistic 16-year-old boy into performing sexual acts and crashing through pond ice in episodes they captured on cellphone video, authorities said Wednesday.

The girls, ages 17 and 15, threatened the intellectually disabled victim with a knife, kicked him in the groin and dragged him around by his hair, said St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Cara Grumbels. They coerced him into walking on a partially frozen pond and then refused to help him out of the frigid water, she said.

“The 25-year-old daughter of a Salem woman beat her mother to death on New Year’s Eve by hitting her 18 times with a hammer and strangling her because the mother wouldn’t let the daughter use the car, state police at Greenburg said on Friday…After the killing, Vercauteren sometimes stayed in the mobile home with her [2-year-old] child while her mother’s body remained in the bathroom, police said…“

“Writing the court, a Seattle detective said White arrived at an acquaintance’s home five blocks from the shooting scene shortly after Peterson was killed. White is alleged to have admitted to killing Peterson…“He said that the man had seen his face, and he had to shoot him,” the detective said. “He showed his companions the phone he had finally taken from the man and expressed his disappointment that it was not a nicer model.”

In all honesty, the cartoon above is simply Hope n’ Change’s way of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, and the scene pictured never happened and never could have.

Not because Barack O’Bama, the nation’s first Black Irish president, isn’t a moron. But because when his national security team met on Saturday to discuss the growing severity of the Ukraine crisis, the president again skipped the meeting, perhaps to go looking for magical creatures on the golf course. (Editor’s note: It can only be coincidence the weather Saturday was 70 and sunny!)

“I understand that if you catch a leprechaun,” the president was heard to say, “they have to give you their pot. Which, of course, I’d share with the whole choom gang.”

Frankly, we think O’Bama has a much better chance of finding a leprechaun than of finding the necessary backbone to take national security matters seriously. But here’s hoping that today finds you enjoying a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day, whether you’re Irish all year around or just for 24 hours!
