It’s Monday, August 25th, 2014…but before we begin, this headline tells you all you need to know about the nature of Michael Brown’s funeral service:
Any small reserves of sympathy we had left for this family just dissipated. And while The Obamao couldn’t be bothered to send a representative to the funeral of Major General Harold Greene, let alone interrupt his vacation to attend in person, he did find it fitting to send three…count ’em, three…minions (all of them, curiously, Black!) to honor the “Gentle Giant”. How does The Obamao signal respect for anyone who can’t or won’t further his Marxist, anti-American agenda?

“Our barbaric jihadist enemies – the ones President Obama repeatedly assured us he had “decimated” and put on “the path to defeat” – are now stronger than ever. Not stronger than they have been in years, or decades – stronger than ever. They have seized a country-size swath of territory (and growing). They have just beheaded an American journalist – which is the sort of thing they do as a matter of routine but has obviously, and finally, gotten our attention.
Not to worry, though: The Obama Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation. I’m sure ISIS is quaking.
The Obama administration has spent six years miniaturizing the global jihad as a series of non-ideological, unconnected groups of “violent extremists,” pursuing parochial political objectives through acts of “workplace violence.”
The enemy kills our ambassador to Libya, a palpable act of war, and the administration pretends it’s about a video. The enemy decapitates an American because he’s an American, and the administration announces the opening of a criminal investigation. The enemy bombs and beheads, we subpoena and indict.
The title of this post, “Obama’s America Is September 10th America” is not a random description of the now. It’s the title of a column I wrote six years ago … when then-candidate Obama was promising policies that would, inevitably, lead to an increasingly imperiled America – a provocatively weak America that regarded our enemies as mere defendants, just as we did before 9/11 … when our enemies responded by attacking us again and again…”
For those requiring proof of Team Tick-Tock’s inexplicably lackadaisical attitude towards national security, here’s Exhibit “A”:
“A new letter from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) admits that illegal aliens were being allowed to board planes using Notice to Appear forms they received after entering the U.S. illegally. The revelation directly contradicts a TSA statement last month denying such allegations to various media outlets, including Breitbart News. In July Breitbart Texas Managing Director Brandon Darby broke the news that the TSA was letting illegal aliens board planes using Notice to Appear forms; subsequently, a TSA spokesperson publicly attacked Darby on Twitter, insisting that his report was “completely wrong.”
The newly-surfaced TSA letter was penned on August 7, according to the Gateway Pundit. It was reportedly sent from the TSA to Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-TX), a member of the Border Security Caucus. The letter confirms that illegal aliens are being allowed to board planes using a Notice to Appear form (also known as I-862), as Darby revealed in July…“

China rejects U.S. criticism over jet encounter
China on Saturday called US criticism of an approach by one of its jets to a US Navy patrol plane off the Chinese coast earlier this week “completely groundless” and said its pilot had maintained a safe distance from the US aircraft. The strongly-worded statement attributed to Ministry of National Defense spokesman Yang Yujun was a response to a diplomatic complaint the Pentagon filed with Beijing on Friday.
The complaint concerned an August 19 encounter about 215 km (135 miles) east of China’s Hainan Island in which a Chinese fighter jet came within meters (yards) of a US P-8 Poseidon anti-submarine and reconnaissance plane and, the US claimed, performed acrobatic maneuvers around it. In its statement, the Chinese defense ministry said the J-11 jet was conducting routine checks and described the pilot’s actions as professional.
The United States’ frequent short-range reconnaissance missions threatened the safety of both militaries, it said. It urged the US to reduce short-range reconnaissance against China and to respect international law and conventions.
It’s almost enough to make one conclude…
…he’s playing for the other side.
At least someone recognizes the face of the enemy:

But not everyone’s money is good. Although Arabs have lived side-by-side with Kurds in the region for centuries, many Kurds say they don’t trust Arab Iraqis given Islamic State’s growing influence.

Meanwhile, back in The Show-Me State, Victor Davis Hanson details how the most divisive Administration in American history and their allies in the MSM have been purposefully…
“Violence following the recent fatal shooting of an unarmed robbery suspect in Ferguson, Mo, has tragically followed a predictable script. On average, more than 6,000 African Americans are killed by gun violence each year. That startling figure is nearly equal to all of the U.S. combat fatalities incurred in both Afghanistan and Iraq over some 13 years. African Americans are the victims in about half of the homicides in America each year despite the fact that blacks represent only about 13 percent of the U.S. population.
One would think that these alarming statistics would provoke the sort of protests that we’ve seen in Ferguson, but that is not the case. Nor does racial unrest automatically follow cases in which white police officers fatally shoot black criminal suspects. Only a small handful of such instances trigger outrage in the black community.
Instead, the sort of civil unrest we’re seeing in Ferguson is most likely to be ignited by the infrequent and disparate cases in which someone white, whether a police officer or not, fatally shoots an unarmed African American…“
Which brings us to the crux of the matter, the aspect of the Ferguson shooting which the forces of anarchy and divisiveness claim justifies the arson, looting and lawlessness:

“Friday morning rolling along I-10 East I happened upon the Rush Limbaugh radio program. Not a regular listener but the program caught my attention because Rush said it was open line Friday for callers. Public opinion is always interesting.
A 32-year veteran of law enforcement (police officer), now retired, called to comment on the Michael Brown shooting (by police officer Darren Wilson) in Ferguson, Missouri. He started by saying that during his time in uniform eight (of his) fellow officers had been killed in the line of duty – by unarmed assailants. He stressed unarmed. Eight police officer murders.
He did not detail the particulars of each death but he did expound on one. During a struggle the police officer was struck (by a fist), momentarily stunned, and had his firearm taken from him. His efforts to evade and hide from the now armed assailant failed. He was killed, by his firearm in the assailant’s hand, at point-blank range.
His point was that that Michael Brown was unarmed, as some sort of defense for him being a victim, is nonsense. He went on to say that even the best trained police officer can have his hands full in a physical engagement and end up on the bad end of a lucky blow. Thus, in a blink of an eye, an unarmed subject can be armed…“
But despite his imposing size, Brown’s backers claim he was a gentle giant; yeah…
…right! And Trayvon was just a fun-loving, innocent slip of a youth who wouldn’t hurt a fly:
Well, at least one Black American has the common sense, honesty…and nerve…to call a spade a spade.
