It’s Friday, April 10th, 2016…but before we begin, in honor of Hillary’s imminent campaign announcement, and in the spirit of her famous Bosnian sniper incident, a few more of Brian Williams’ “I Was There” mis-recollected moments of history:

By the way, it appears the Russkies may have hacked the White House through Hillary’s private server; stay tuned!

Now, here’s The Gouge!

First up, for once we agree with the Mad Mullahs:

The Incredible Obama Doctrine

Speak softly and claim to carry a big stick, which you have no intention of ever using.

“…“What we will be doing even as we enter into this deal is sending a very clear message to the Iranians and to the entire region that if anybody messes with Israel, America will be there.” This statement, and indeed the Obama Doctrine, is a hoax.

Set aside that “messes with Israel” and “America will be there” are phrases with no real operational meaning. “America will be there” could mean that if someone set off a nuclear backpack bomb in Tel Aviv, where the Obama administration would be the next day is on New York’s east side, condemning the attack in a U.N. Security Council resolution.

Any American foreign-policy doctrine needs interpretive wiggle room for the commander in chief. But anyone would assume that the phrase “America will be there” refers to the deployment of what Mr. Obama invokes as “our military superiority.”

Unless it doesn’tIn the case of the Obama presidency, it doesn’t. There is next to no chance that this president under any circumstance—and that would include China’s invasion of Taiwan—will use the U.S. military on the scale he implies here.

Dick Cheney said Tuesday Mr. Obama is the worst foreign-policy president ever. Sen.Lindsey Graham said Sunday Hillary Clinton would be better. Personalizing criticism of the Obama foreign policy like this is a mistake. It is a mistake to suggest U.S. foreign policy is weak only because Barack Obama is running it. On the cusp of a presidential election, the more pertinent question is whether U.S. foreign policy is weak because a Democrat is running it…”

The sad part is, things could easily be…

Hillary2

worse; much worse!  Think about it; in an eerie and scary similitude of The Dear Misleader, Hillary’s been things, but never done or achieved anything…quite literally NOT ONE THING!  Other than marrying Bill.

The Obamao had at least two qualities, if one can call them that, which recommended him for the Presidency: the ability to read a teleprompter in a sonorous tone, and his father’s ethnicity.  Hillary has but one; the absence of male genitalia.  Unless of course one counts sticking by a serial philanderer as a qualification for President.

If…

…then fat, unaccomplished and cheated-on is no reason to be elected President.  And the lack of a penis is just as insufficient a cause to vote someone Leader of the Free World as is skin color.

Kerry warns Iran US ‘not going to stand by’ as Yemen conflict worsens

“Remember, whatever you do, stay seated.”

As with our earlier item concerning the Mad Mullahs, for once we agree; Kerry’s finally telling the truth.  The Obamao and his Administration are not going to ‘stand by‘ as the Yemen conflict worsens; as usual, they’re going to sit on their useless, lying asses

…and do absolutely nothing.

Next up, courtesy of NRO, Kevin Williamson reports on how time seems to rehabilitate even the most egregious violations of the public trust:

Scandals in the rearview mirror appear smaller.

“…Richard Nixon was a snake who understood himself as such but had sufficient vestigial conscience to be ashamed of his snakery. When Tricky Dick wanted to spread a nasty rumor about a political rival, he insisted on a few degrees of separation between the deed and himself; when Harry Reid wants to spread lies about someone, he does so from the Senate floor and then laughs about it. In Nixon’s time, the political misuse of the IRS was considered a serious crime; today, it happens quite in the open without consequence. When Nixon insisted that his attorney general violate his official responsibilities for political reasons, Elliott Richardson understood what duty required, and resigned; Eric Holder, by way of comparison — suffice it to say that he understands his duty somewhat differently.

Plus ça change: The worst interpretation of the Iran-contra affair was that senior figures in the Reagan administration, conspiring in secrecy, negotiated the sale of arms to the Iranians in order to secure the release of Americans being held hostage by Hezbollah, using the profits from that exchange to aid those fighting against the murderous Soviet proxy in Nicaragua. Sneaky and illegal but intended to secure real American national-security interests — surely, somewhere in the penumbras of the federal government, there is a black-budget agency chief who has approximately that as a job description. The Democrats howled about the sale of those anti-tank missiles to Tehran, of course, and one of the loudest howlers was John Kerrywho has just signed off on a deal delivering Tehran a nuclear weapon in a blue Tiffany box. Exactly what vital national-security interest that secures remains a mystery…”

And in today’s Environmental Moment, as The Daily Caller relates:

Obama: Daughter’s asthma attack made climate change personal

Obama-boarding-AFOne-Meme_zpsqqygd9ea

President Obama said in an interview broadcast Wednesday that his push to address climate change has been partly influenced by a frightening moment when his daughter Malia had an asthma attack as a 4-year-old.

“What I can relate to is the fear a parent has, when your 4-year-old daughter comes up to you and says, ‘Daddy, I’m having trouble breathing.’ The fright you feel is terrible,” the president said on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Wednesday.

“And if we can make sure that our responses to the environment are reducing those incidents, that’s something that I think every parent would wish for.”…”

After all, it’s all about the children!  And Malia’s asthma attack (if it actually happened!) had to be the result of climate change.  After all, it couldn’t have been brought on by anything else; you know, like…

RFK Jr. Compares Vaccine Debate To Holocaust As California Lawmakers Look At Banning Exemptions

RFK

As lawmakers at the State Capitol consider a bill that would no longer allow parents to opt out of vaccinating their children over personal beliefs, vaccination critic Robert Kennedy Jr. waded into the debate at a Sacramento appearance. Kennedy spoke to a crowd Tuesday screening a film that claims a link between autism in children and thimerosal, an ingredient in vaccines, according to the Sacramento Bee.

“They get the shot, that night they have a fever of a hundred and three, they go to sleep, and three months later their brain is gone,” Kennedy reportedly told the crowd. “This is a holocaust, what this is doing to our country.”

Multiple studies have rejected any link between thimerosal and autism. Even without any link discovered, the ingredient has been removed from nearly all childhood vaccines.

On Wednesday, a State Senate committee will decide on the bill, known as SB 277. The bill was introduced following a measles outbreak that infected more than 100 people in California and several other states.

Soooo…despite any studies to the contrary, the validity of vaccinations isn’t settled; yet without any proof whatsoever to support it, the pseudo-science of anthropogenic global warming is!

Yeah…
