Think about it: at home, the economy is shrinking, urban crime is out of control and healthcare costs are skyrocketing while the country’s being overrun by illiterate, unskilled illegal aliens.  Meanwhile, overseas, ISIS is in complete control of most of Iraq, Syria and other significant portions of the Levant, Iran is on the brink of becoming a nuclear power, our allies don’t trust us and our enemies treat us with utter contempt.

So on what critical crisis does the current occupant of the White House and his Administration focus their attention?

Lack of Leadership in Black Communities: Time for an Honest Conversation

And there’s little is any leadership in the contemporary Black community.

“What Ferguson and Baltimore proved is that there is an unfortunate lack of real leadership in America’s black communities. Instead of leaders who can show young black men a better way and give them hope, we have a host of self-serving race hustlers who exploit them and pander to their worst instincts. To make matters worse, mainstream media outlets aid and abet the race hustlers in the interest of ratings, purposefully sensationalizing their coverage of young black men behaving badly. This, in turn, encourages more thuggish behavior and the cycle repeats itself becoming more and more violent. This, of course, is exactly what mainstream media outlets want.

Here is what economist Walter Williams says about this phenomenon: “Hustlers and people with little understanding want us to believe that today’s black problems are the continuing result of a legacy of slavery, poverty and racial discrimination. The fact is that most of the social pathology seen in poor black neighborhoods is entirely new in black history.” I agree with Dr. Williams. My view is that the problems Williams alludes to—fatherless families, illiteracy, unemployment, drugs, high dropout rates, crime, and violence—stem more from a lack of leadership than from the legacy of slavery, poverty, and racial discrimination. I say this because even if the problems associated with the black neighborhoods Williams alluded to were caused by slavery, poverty, and racial discrimination, real leaders would make sure that young black men refuse to let these causes become excuses. Success has never been built on excuses…”

Yet excuses are all Progressives of any color have to offer these days.

Hastert’s self-enrichment indicts Washington establishment

There is one aspect of the Hastert scandal, however, that reflects a problem that is more troubling than “structuring” bank withdrawals, but more easily repaired than whatever Hastert might have done many decades ago. That problem boils down to one question: How in the world could a school-teacher-turned lawmaker afford to pay, reportedly, $3.5 million in hush money?…”

Seriously: he certainly hasn’t been stashing away any savings on his food budget!

“Two members of House GOP leadership—Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Rules Committee chairman Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX)—refused to admit through spokespersons to Breitbart News whether they have read the text of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Pacific Rim trade deal, but they still support granting President Barack Obama the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) to fast track it.

…When asked again in a follow-up whether Scalise has been to the secret room inside the Capitol to read the guarded text of the TPP—which TPA would fast-track—and why he’d even consider whipping votes for something he doesn’t know anything about if he hasn’t been to the room to read the text, Scalise’s spokesman again refused to answer whether he’s read TPP…

…They’re hardly the only ones refusing to admit whether they’ve read the bill. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who voted for it in the U.S. Senate after making it a centerpiece of his presidential campaign, has repeatedly refused over the past month plus to answer whether he’s made it to the room to read the TPP text. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who’s also running for president, is also refusing to answer whether he read it. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) are the only two GOP presidential candidates in the Senate who read it, and Paul is the only one who voted against Obamatrade. Cruz voted for it after reading the text, but expressed his public support for the deal weeks before he read it in an op-ed with Ryan in the Wall Street Journal.

“We have to pass the secret trade bill sponsored by the only anti-American President in our nation’s history to find out what’s in it!”

House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) has refused repeatedly through spokesman Matt Wolking to answer whether he read the TPP text, but he still supports Obamatrade.

Daniel Horowitz, the senior editor of the Conservative Review, said this is outrageous. “It is unforgivable for the Republican majority to shirk its congressional duty and refuse to read the text of a bill that will give Obama unprecedented authority over our economy…”

Frankly, the only scenario in which we could POSSIBLY envision supporting this Marxist Mephisto would be were he to file his own articles of impeachment; and then we’d check to ensure his abdication didn’t present a greater threat to the Republic than the continued occupation of his office.

Here’s the juice: if Barry’s for it, we’re agin‘ it…and we’re more than willing to admit it.  We trust him about as far as we can throw…

“National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration scientists have found a solution to the 15-year “pause” in global warming: They “adjusted” the hiatus in warming out of the temperature record. New climate data by NOAA scientists doubles the warming trend since the late 1990s by adjusting pre-hiatus temperatures downward and inflating temperatures in more recent years.

…“If we subtract the [old] data from the [new] data… we can see that that is exactly what NOAA did,” [climate expert Bob] Tisdale and [meteorologist Anthony] Watts wrote on the science blog Watts Up With That. “It’s the same story all over again; the adjustments go towards cooling the past and thus increasing the slope of temperature rise,” Tisdale and Watts added. “Their intent and methods are so obvious they’re laughable”…”
