“Embalmers around the country are reportedly finding staggering increases in the number of corpses presenting with \u201cfibrous\u201d clots post-mortem.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Alabama funeral director Richard Hirschman\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0The Epoch Times that, prior to 2020, he found these clots in around 5% to 10% of the bodies he embalmed.<\/span> This number has since increased to between 50% and 70%, Hirschman said. According to results from a lab in Texas, clots lack a number of key health markers for human blood, including iron, potassium, zinc, and magnesium.<\/span> This suggests that the clots were not formed in blood, but further research is needed to identify the root cause and origin of these clots in bodies, The Epoch Times continued.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

…<\/span>While some<\/em><\/span> of the embalmers were quick to note there could<\/em><\/span> be a relation between the clots, COVID-19 and\/or the\u00a0COVID-19 vaccines, most<\/em><\/span> suggested this as a cause without<\/em><\/span> having conducted the necessary scientific investigation to confirm their hypothesis, according to The Epoch Times.<\/strong><\/span><\/span>“<\/p>\n

“\u201cFat Leonard\u201d is on the loose. The former military contractor at the center of the largest corruption scandal in the history of the US Navy escaped from house arrest in San Diego over the weekend by cutting off his GPS monitor \u2014 weeks before he was to be sentenced for defrauding the service of at least $35 million.<\/span> Leonard Francis, a Malaysian citizen who tips the scales at 350 pounds<\/em><\/span>, was arrested in 2013 and pleaded guilty in 2015 to bribery and fraud charges.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Francis, who had been under home confinement since 2018, was reported missing Sunday by police after the federal Office of Pretrial Services \u2014 which had been monitoring him \u2014 reported a problem with the GPS monitor.<\/span> Police conducting a welfare check found the discarded ankle bracelet at Francis\u2019 home and contacted US Marshals. The San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force was activated and Naval Criminal Investigative Services is also involved.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Supervisory Deputy Marshal Omar Castillo said neighbors reported seeing U-Haul trucks coming and going from Francis\u2019 multimillion-dollar home in a gated community<\/em><\/span>, the\u00a0San Diego Union-Tribune reported. \u201cHe was planning this out, that\u2019s for sure<\/em><\/span>,\u201d Castillo told the newspaper<\/span><\/strong><\/span>…”<\/span><\/p>\n

“A<\/strong><\/span><\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0the general election heats up, Democrats continue to pour tens of millions of dollars into advertising that hammers Republicans on the issue of abortion, and too many congressional GOP candidates<\/em><\/span> are responding by looking at their feet, mumbling something about letting the states decide, and pivoting to a discussion of inflation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

That response simply won\u2019t do<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> Pro-life candidates need to punch back before they pivo<\/em><\/span>t.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Congressional Democrats are perhaps one or two Senate seats shy of providing unlimited taxpayer funding of elective abortions for Medicaid recipients \u2014 a\u00a0policy that would result\u00a0in tens of thousands more<\/em><\/span> babies being dismembered or poisoned to death in the womb each year.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Most congressional Democrats have pretended for decades<\/em><\/span> that they support limits on abortion after viability, the point in pregnancy when a baby can survive outside the womb. But they have<\/span>\u00a0almost unanimously opposed legislation<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0that would ban abortion beyond the fifth month of pregnancy, when babies are viable and capable of feeling pain.<\/span><\/span> Congressional Democrats have\u00a0almost unanimously voted for legislation<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0that would create a national right<\/em><\/span> to abort a baby beyond viability until birth<\/em><\/span> whenever a midwife, nurse, or doctor asserts the continuation of that pregnancy poses a risk to the pregnant woman\u2019s\u00a0mental or emotional health<\/a><\/em><\/span>. That same abortion bill \u2014 the one almost all Democrats are promising to make law in 2023 if they get the chance \u2014 would also gut<\/em><\/span><\/span>\u00a0conscience laws<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0that protect health-care workers, strike down<\/em><\/span><\/span>\u00a0parental-consent abortion laws<\/a><\/em><\/span>, and override<\/em><\/span> some state laws<\/span>\u00a0banning partial-birth abortion<\/em><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Even after the fall of\u00a0Roe<\/em>, pro-life candidates for federal office should continue<\/em><\/span> to focus on opposing taxpayer funding of elective abortions and ending the barbaric practice of elective late-term abortion in America.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Each human being is endowed with the unalienable right to life at her creation, not her birth. <\/span>But at this time, the majority of the American public is not willing to support a law protecting life from conception. There is<\/em><\/span>, however, national support for setting limits on abortion later in pregnancy<\/em><\/span> when it becomes even more indefensible for anyone to deny the humanity of a developing child.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

…<\/span>When the U.S. Senate voted in 2015 for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which bans most abortions after 22 weeks of pregnancy, it received the votes of 51 Republicans and three Democrats, falling six votes short of overcoming a filibuster. Pro-life congressional candidates and legislators should continue making the case for some national limit on late abortions for however long it takes to make it law.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>“<\/p>\n

“Depending on short-term political desires, President\u00a0Joe Biden\u00a0and his energy team are happy to encourage oil production,\u00a0especially by foreign despots<\/a><\/em><\/span>. But for the long term, the Biden administration seeks to wean the U.S, economy off fossil fuels.<\/span> This will not be an easy ride for U.S. consumers or taxpayers.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

By at least one significant metric, the president\u2019s effort to discourage oil production is historic.<\/span> Timothy Puko and Anthony DeBarros\u00a0report<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0for the Journal:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Biden administration has leased fewer acres for oil-and-gas drilling offshore and on federal land than any other administration in its early stages dating back to the end of World War II, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

President Biden\u2019s Interior Department leased 126,228 acres for drilling through Aug. 20, his first 19 months in office, the analysis found. No other president since\u00a0Richard Nixon\u00a0in 1969-70 leased out fewer than 4.4 million acres at this stage in his first term.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Along with limiting oil supply, Team Biden is also cheering efforts to restrict demand. Thomas Catenacci\u00a0reports<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0for the Fox Business Network:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Energy Secretary\u00a0Jennifer Granholm<\/span>\u00a0says she backs regulations California\u2019s state government approved in August banning the sale of new gas-powered cars after 2034.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Granholm<\/span> answered a question about the new law, saying she backed it and commending California for \u201cleaning in\u201d on climate policy, during an interview with Los Angeles reporter Elex Michaelson that aired Friday evening.<\/span> She<\/span> noted President Biden\u2019s informal commitment to ensure 50% of all<\/span> U.S. car sales are electric by 2030.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The administration is pushing out subsidies to electrify commercial vehicles as well.<\/span> But sometimes environmental belief<\/em><\/span> is not enough to create a smooth ride.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Clarise Larson\u00a0reports<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0for Alaska\u2019s Juneau Empire:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The City and Borough of Juneau\u2019s municipal bus service, Capital Transit, announced last week that it is set to be awarded close to $2.3 million from a federal grant which will go toward infrastructure replacement to aid the city\u2019s long-term goal of electrifying its transit system moving forward…<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, Capital Transit only owns one electric bus \u2014 which has been in service since April 2021 and is the state\u2019s first municipally operated electric bus \u2014 out of its 18 bus fleet.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The 40-foot\u00a0Proterra<\/a><\/span>\u00a0bus has experienced mechanical problems since its launch and was not holding battery charges long enough to complete an entire route during this winter\u2019s cold weather<\/span>…<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Empire\u2019s Dana Zigmund\u00a0reported in January that the problems went beyond the inability to complete a route in the winter<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/span>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The 40-foot bus, manufactured by Proterra<\/span>, has been out of service periodically due to mechanical problems.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A powertrain wiring harness issue recently sidelined the bus for six weeks between Thanksgiving and New Year\u2019s Day.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Although that issue is now fixed, according to the memo, more minor problems \u2014 such as issues related to the windshield wipers\u2013 still plague the bus…<\/span> In addition, because of the length of the bus, it can\u2019t run some routes that require a tighter turning radius. The electric bus is too long to service riders on Douglas.<\/span> So, the electric bus mostly runs the commuter routes between downtown and the Mendenhall Valley.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Good thing politicians are so committed to electric vehicles or this product might really struggle to gain acceptance!<\/span> In January Colleen Wilson of New Jersey\u2019s Bergen Record\u00a0reported<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/span>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Transit agencies around the country have had challenges with battery buses, forcing them to pull them from the road and return to diesel models.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For example, SEPTA \u2014 the Philadelphia transit agency just across the Delaware River from Camden \u2014 pulled its 25 electric buses off the road in 2020 after six months. The agency discovered cracking and failing mounting brackets for a rooftop equipment box on the buses and SEPTA is working with the vendor, Proterra<\/span>, to fix the issues…<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In Minnesota, transit agencies in Duluth and Twin Cities sidelined their new electric buses last year because of issues going up steep hills, shorter battery life especially in freezing temperatures, cracking chassis and problems with chargers<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Asked by this column to comment on the latest report from the Juneau Empire, a Proterra<\/em><\/span> spokesman writes via email:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As the most experienced manufacturer of electric buses in North America<\/span> with more than 30 million service miles driven across the United States and Canada, Proterra<\/span> was excited about the opportunity to partner with the Capital Transit to provide clean, quiet transportation to the residents of Juneau. We look forward to supporting Juneau and Capital Transit\u2019s electric bus fleet in the years to come.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The email from Proterra<\/em><\/span> also says that the company\u2019s technology is \u201crapidly improving<\/em><\/span>\u201d and let\u2019s hope that it is, for the sake of taxpayers who are now buying plenty of it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Consumers may or may not end up appreciating electrified bus service, but politicians and media folk have been enthusiasts for years.<\/span> In June of 2017, Russ Mitchell\u00a0reported<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0in the Los Angeles Times:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The market for battery-powered electric buses seems ready to rocket<\/span>.<\/span> Orders in the U.S. are gaining traction.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Last week, Proterra<\/span> said it had raised $55 million in investment capital atop $290 million raised earlier. The new money comes from Al Gore\u2019s investment fund and\u00a0BMW\u2019s venture capital arm.<\/span> GM Ventures and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers had already<\/span> chipped in.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The company may ring a bell with readers given all the attention it\u2019s received from politicians<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> CNN\u2019s Kristen Holmes\u00a0reported<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0in May of 2021:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

President Joe Biden and Vice President\u00a0Kamala Harris\u2019 efforts to sell their green agenda and infrastructure plan are being complicated by a thorny conflict of interest<\/span> for Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm<\/span> \u2013 who stands to gain a windfall from stock options in a private electric vehicle company<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Last month, Biden took a virtual tour of Proterra<\/span>, a company Granholm holds millions of dollars in vested stock options in and previously sat on the board of<\/span>. During the tour Biden praised employees and the CEO for their work in the electric vehicle space…<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the hundreds<\/span> of electric vehicle-related companies in the United States, Harris also toured a partner of Proterra<\/span>, and the Proterra\u2019s CEO\u00a0Jack Allen<\/span>\u00a0later took part in a session at the administration\u2019s US Climate summit…<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Asked about the conflict of interest in a recent interview, the former Michigan Democratic governor<\/span> said she \u201chad nothing to do with\u201d Biden\u2019s tour.<\/span> She also again committed to divesting her stock options<\/span> \u2013 something she pledged to do within 180 days in the ethics agreement she signed when joining the administration.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Proterra<\/em><\/span> became a public company a few months later via a combination with a special purpose acquisition company.<\/span> At a Senate hearing this year Ms. Granholm<\/em><\/span> said that she divested the stake last year.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As for the coming year<\/em><\/span>, let\u2019s hope that commuters have a good experience on electric buses.<\/span> Winter is<\/em><\/span> coming.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For those who failed to make the connection between the “one particular Progressive politician<\/em><\/span>” and the “specific company<\/em><\/span>” marketing the “unproven technology”, here’s the juice, in the form of a question: What’s to prevent Jennifer Granholm after a time, once she decides to abandon the Biden clown car, from\u00a0rejoining<\/em><\/span> Proterra, at which point she’ll receive her ill-gotten reward for enriching this quasi-private sector enterprise from the pockets of American taxpayers?<\/strong><\/p>\n
