text-decoration: underline;\">Here Comes the Democrat Rout<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Scotland_Forever.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-104997\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Scotland_Forever.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"212\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Scotland_Forever.jpeg 420w, https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Scotland_Forever-300x151.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"isPasted\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Students of military history understand that the real bloodletting starts when the losing side breaks ranks after its formations disintegrate and the cavalry sweeps in to mow down the fleeing survivors.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\">It\u2019s every man for himself, and the best the defeated individuals who were once part of cohesive units can hope for is not to end up one of the bodies left strewn across the battlefield.<\/span> This is when the victor runs up the score. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">This is when the vast majority of casualties happen.<\/span> This is a rout. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">And that\u2019s pretty much where the Democrats are headed on November 8th, figuratively of course.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8230;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The traditional sign of a rout is when the losing party turns on itself and its platform.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8230;<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">The \u201dsave yourselves!\u201d phase will be starting soon, but the Democrats have a real problem they did not face in the past.<\/span> At one time, they had some ideological flexibility. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">They could pretend that they were not as left as they were to save themselves by peeling off enough gullible independents to survive, and their base would see the wink and tolerate the blasphemy of convenience.<\/span> But not now.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">No, Democrat ideology has become a pagan religion where it was once merely a way to get power.<\/span> Most candidates cannot back off from the stupidest Democrat policy planks even at the cost of their electoral lives. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">They cannot demand more drilling to get gas and oil prices down because that is heresy toward the angry weather goddess.<\/span> They cannot support cops because that\u2019s racist. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">They cannot come out against perverts in woman&#8217;s faces waving their junk in toddlers\u2019 faces at \u201cfamily friendly drag shows\u201d because pedo-shaming is a no-go for libs.<\/span> They are locked into insanity.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">They cannot run.<\/span> They cannot hide. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">They must figuratively die with their Birkenstocks on.\u00a0<\/span>Cool.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\">The over and under is 30 seats in the House and 52 in the Senate.<\/span> And my money is on the over.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4m7RPjQxjmA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Garry Owen<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">, troopers.<\/span> Charge!<\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s the juice: God only knows what November 8th will bring, but when the demented deviant in the White House&#8230;a man* who&#8217;s spent some <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>40%<\/em><\/span> of his term <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>on vacation<\/em><\/span>, yet <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>still<\/em><\/span> hasn&#8217;t managed to fit a trip down to the Mexican border into his <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>amazingly light schedule<\/em><\/span>&#8230;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>somehow<\/em><\/span> finds the time <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yaf.org\/news\/biden-invited-man-who-identifies-as-little-girl-to-discuss-trans-issues-at-the-white-house\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>to entertain a man who &#8220;identifies&#8221; as a young girl in the Oval Office<\/em><\/span><\/a>, granting what was once the dignity of his position to a mentally-ill individual, don&#8217;t be surprised when voters pull the lever for the opposition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Now, here&#8217;s <em>The Gouge<\/em>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>First up, the Editors at <em>NRO<\/em>\u00a0note, despite every poll indicating its a loser at the ballot box&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"article-header__title\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2022\/10\/democrats-double-down-on-abortion-extremism\/?utm_source=Sailthru&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=MJ_20221024&amp;utm_term=Jolt-Smart\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Democrats Double Down on Abortion Extremism<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/6y3ikr.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-105000\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/6y3ikr.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/6y3ikr.jpeg 420w, https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/6y3ikr-300x159.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span class=\"drop\">&#8220;<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>T<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span class=\"small_caps\">hroughout<\/span>\u00a0the summer, Democratic strategists and their allies in the press were salivating in anticipation of Senate debate season because it would force Republican candidates to talk about the issue of abortion. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">Well, debate season is almost over, and how many viral video clips of GOP candidates\u2019 debating abortion have you seen rocketing around the Internet?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Zero? <span style=\"color: #800080;\">There\u2019s a reason for that: Democrats <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>haven\u2019t won the debate<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> At the very least, they were fought to a draw on stage in each contest, and on the whole Democrats lost the abortion debate by embracing extremism in battleground state after battleground state.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">In Wisconsin\u2019s first Senate debate, Republican incumbent Ron Johnson argued that his Democratic opponent Mandela Barnes backs abortion \u201cright up until the moment of birth,\u201d and Barnes <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>did not dispute the claim<\/em><\/span>. <\/span>At a press conference the next day,\u00a0<span class=\"small_caps\">National Review<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2022\/10\/mandela-barnes-admits-he-opposes-any-legal-limit-on-abortion-until-birth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-testid=\"dynamic-link\">asked<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0Barnes if abortion should be legal when a baby is healthy and capable of surviving outside the womb and the pregnancy poses no risk to the mother\u2019s physical health.<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> \u201cIt all goes back to this decision being made between a woman and her doctor.<\/span> That\u2019s as simple as it gets,\u201d Barnes replied.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>legal dismemberment of premature infants<\/em><\/span> \u2014 babies in the womb who are developed enough to be patients in a neonatal intensive-care unit \u2014 is morally repugnant to the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>overwhelming<\/em><\/span> majority of Americans.<\/span> But it <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>does indeed<\/em><\/span> seem to be a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>very simple issue<\/em><\/span> for many of Barnes\u2019s fellow Democratic candidates:\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2022\/10\/raphael-warnocks-hideous-abortion-extremism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-testid=\"dynamic-link\">Raphael Warnock in Georgia<\/a><\/em><\/span>,\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/democrats-lurch-left-on-abortion-immigration-and-health-care-in-first-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-testid=\"dynamic-link\">Tim Ryan in Ohio<\/a><\/em><\/span>, and\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1582118811154747392\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-testid=\"standard-link\">John Fetterman in Pennsylvania<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0have <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>openly embraced it<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">The extreme position that Fetterman openly embraces is, of course, the position held by every Democratic Senate candidate. <\/span>Democratic candidates Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada, Mark Kelly of Arizona, and\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2022\/09\/politifact-covers-for-val-demings-on-late-term-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-testid=\"dynamic-link\">Val Demings of Florida<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0have each made misleading claims that they support some limit on abortion very late in pregnancy. <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">But\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><a style=\"color: #800080; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2022\/09\/questions-for-glenn-kessler-on-late-term-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-testid=\"dynamic-link\">in reality<\/a><\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>each of them<\/em><\/span> voted for an<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2022\/06\/democrats-rally-behind-radical-national-abortion-bill-to-replace-roe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-testid=\"dynamic-link\">extreme federal abortion bill<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800080;\">that would force all 50 states to allow abortion through all nine months of pregnancy.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>While Republican Senate candidates have disagreed about whether they should push for a federal 15-week limit or say the issue should be solely decided by the states, most have done a good job highlighting the extremism of Democrats during the debates.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">It is worth noting that since South Carolina Republican senator Lindsey Graham introduced a bill establishing a 15-week national limit on abortion, predictions that that bill would harm the GOP have been proven incorrect.<\/span> The Republican position in the\u00a0<em>RealClearPolitics<\/em>\u00a0average of\u00a0<a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/other\/2022-generic-congressional-vote-7361.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" testid=\"standard-link\" class=\"broken_link\">generic-ballot polls<\/a>\u00a0has improved from a one-point deficit in mid-September to a three-point lead. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">Florida senator Marco Rubio and North Carolina Senate candidate Ted Budd, both cosponsors of Graham\u2019s bill, have seen their polling numbers tick upward.<\/span> The bill seemed to be a clear asset to Republican Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters, who used it to draw a contrast with his Democratic opponent Mark Kelly.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Democrats from Bernie Sanders to James Carville have begun to worry that the party is focusing too much on the issue of abortion. <\/span>In September, a\u00a0<em>New York Times<\/em>\/Siena poll found that only 5 percent of voters said abortion was the most important issue. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">A month later, after tens of millions in Democratic abortion-themed ads had aired, that number remained stuck at exactly 5 percent.<\/span> In the same poll, 44 percent of likely voters said the economy or inflation was the top issue.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Yet, last Tuesday, President Biden <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>doubled down<\/em><\/span> on abortion extremism when he delivered a speech on the topic at one of the few places where he\u2019s still popular \u2014 Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C.<\/span><\/span> Biden vowed that if Democrats win enough seats in Congress, the first bill he\u2019d sign would be the Democrats\u2019 federal abortion bill. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">The mainstream press happily repeated Biden\u2019s misleading claim that the bill would merely \u201ccodify\u00a0<em>Roe<\/em>.\u201d<\/span> It is essential that Republicans continue to explain <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>how extreme<\/em><\/span> the Democrats\u2019 abortion agenda really is.<\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>They&#8217;re doubling down because abortion extremism is the ONLY CARD THEY HAVE TO PLAY&#8230;outside of allowing women to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/exclusive-upenn-philly-da-ignore-complaints-about-lia-thomass-male-nudity-in-the-womens-locker-room\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>ogled in locker rooms<\/em><\/span><\/a> and beaten&#8230;<a href=\"https:\/\/townhall.com\/tipsheet\/madelineleesman\/2022\/10\/24\/volleyball-player-sustains-head-injury-from-transgender-athlete-spike-n2614905\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>quite literally<\/em><\/span><\/a>&#8230;in sports by biologic men.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Meanwhile, the unrestricted slaughter of the soon-to-be-born isn&#8217;t the only extreme position on which Biden is doubling down in a desperate attempt to energize his deviant base:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Bill Barr: &#8220;This is not decay; it is organized destruction. Secularists, and their allies among the &#8216;progressives,&#8217; have marshaled all the force of mass media, popular culture, the entertainment industry, and academia in an unremitting assault on religion and traditional values&#8221;
