It’s Friday, January 6th, 2023, the 2nd anniversary of an event which was far more likely an FBI false-flag operation than an insurrection.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But before we begin, o<\/strong>ur abiding distaste for Kevin McCarthy notwithstanding,\u00a0this tweet from Florida Congressman Mike Waltz is on point<\/em><\/span><\/a><\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here’s the juice: Were McCarthy willing to ban earmarks, a promise he broke shortly after the 2022 election<\/em><\/span><\/a>, we’ve no doubt he’d win a majority of the holdouts’ votes, though whether that would prove enough to ensure the California spendaholic’s election is uncertain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is<\/em><\/span> certain is it’s time for the holdouts to fish or cut bait; Which in this case means they either offer an acceptable alternative to McCarthy<\/em><\/span><\/a> or get on board and get to work.\u00a0 While we’d really prefer Jim Jordan and accept Steve Scalise, we have it on good authority the latter isn’t that different than McCarthy, and former doesn’t want the job.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the Journal<\/em>‘s Kim Strassel suggests,\u00a0<\/strong>GOP rebels need to take the win, as new rule changes will restore the House, and further demands are a recipe for chaos<\/span><\/em><\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 For as Speed so insightfully observed, purity is great, but not possible without an overwhelming majority.\u00a0 Fact is, the majority of the rebels don’t realize the realities of politics<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In other words, in the best purposefully prevaricative practices of Dan Rather and Mary Mapes!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking of the deliberatively deceptive, consider this misleading FOX News<\/em> headline:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amber McLaughlin, 49, was convicted of the 2003 first-degree murder of a former girlfriend<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Except that when “Amber” stalked, raped and murdered the former girlfriend, Beverly Guenther, whose name FOX<\/em>\u00a0obviously deems unworthy of headlining, his<\/em><\/span> name was Scott<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 He only transitioned when it became apparent an appeals court would likely reinstate his death penalty<\/em><\/span><\/a><\/span>, leaving anyone with an ounce of sense to conclude it was a ploy based on the hope Missouri would decline the honor of executing the first “transgender” killer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here’s to the Show Me State for proving Scott wrong!<\/strong><\/p>\n

How the FBI Hacked Twitter<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n

“After journalist Matt Taibbi published the first batch of internal Twitter documents known as the Twitter files, he tweeted that the company\u2019s deputy general counsel, James Baker, was vetting them.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe news that Baker was reviewing the \u2018Twitter files\u2019 surprised everyone involved,\u201d Taibbi wrote.<\/span> That apparently included even Twitter\u2019s new boss, Elon Musk, who added that Baker may have deleted some of the files he was supposed to be reviewing.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Baker had been the top lawyer at the FBI when it interfered in the 2016 presidential election.<\/span> News that he might have been burying evidence of the spy service\u2019s use of a social media company to interfere with the 2020 election, is rightly setting off alarm bells.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, the FBI\u2019s penetration of Twitter constituted just one part of a much larger intelligence operation\u2014one in which the bureau offshored the machinery it used to interfere in the 2016 election and embedded it within the private sector.<\/span> The resulting behemoth, still being built today, is a public-private consortium made up of U.S. intelligence agencies, Big Tech companies, civil society institutions, and major media organizations that has become the world\u2019s most powerful spy service\u2014one that was powerful enough to disappear the former president of the United States from public life, and that is now<\/em><\/span> powerful enough to do the same or worse to anyone else it chooses<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span>…”<\/p>\n
