It’s Saturday, August 23rd, 2014…but first, a brief advisory: today’s edition includes graphic content some readers may find disturbing. \u00a0And though we’ve never seen fit to reproduce barbaric beheading videos intended to intimidate Americans, we felt it necessary to provide at least a glimpse of the true nature of the enemy.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

“…Now confronted with the rolling juggernaut that is ISIS in Northern Iraq, the two (David Cameron and The Obamao)<\/strong><\/span> seem to have finally\u00a0stirred from their moral torpor and recognized that there\u00a0are forces in the world\u00a0with which they must contend if their governments are to retain any semblance of credibility.<\/p>\n

…Yet we in the West would be wrong to think that we have seen nothing like it at all on our own soil.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On October 12th, 2000 two Israeli reservists wandered by mistake into Ramallah on the West Bank.\u00a0They were taken into custody by the Palestinian police\u00a0to a local police office where they were brutally tortured — their eyes gouged out, their genitals dismembered\u00a0and their bodies mutilated — before they were released to a Palestinian mob waiting in the street below.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0There they were torn to pieces — and so brutally disfigured that dental records were required to identify their bodies. Most of the torture was captured on tape.<\/p>\n

Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh’s slaying on the streets of Amsterdam on November 2, 2004 was yet another example of ISIS-style Islamic justice\u00a0in action. After shooting Van Gogh several times, his assailant Mouhammed Bouyeri completed the execution by attempting to behead the dead man and failing that, plunged a knife into his chest\u00a0leaving a note\u00a0threatening the life of Dutch parliamentarian, Ayaan Hirsi Ali.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

British citizens received a stark\u00a0example of ISIS-styled execution on May 22nd, 2013 when Lee Rigby, an off-duty British soldier, was accosted and then\u00a0almost decapitated on a London street by a pair of\u00a0British Muslims.<\/strong><\/span> After having completed their gruesome act,\u00a0one declared: “We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you.\u00a0The only reason we have done this is because Muslims are dying every day.\u00a0This British soldier is an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth,”\u00a0apparently referring to British military efforts in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

The upshot is this: ISIS is not only in Northern Iraq and the Middle East.\u00a0It is a living, breathing monster, lurking in our Western cities, watching and waiting. In Iraq it traffics under a new moniker that is determined to have us regard it as a singular phenomenon; but in the rest of the world it operates quite nicely utilizing its ancient and highly recognizable ideological\u00a0branding: jihad<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Yet why, when Israelis have repeatedly\u00a0peeled back the\u00a0mask on the face of this monster, are our Western leaders so slow to react and\u00a0unwilling to call it for what it is?<\/strong><\/span>…”<\/p>\n

Though David Cameron seems to get it, the nominal Leader of the Free World evidently still doesn’t take the threat of Islamic terror, in any<\/em><\/span> of its guises, seriously:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Obama sported a grin the size of Mount Rushmore as he sat behind the wheel of a golf cart in Martha\u2019s Vineyard, where he\u2019s currently vacationing. Donning casual khakis and a white Nike polo, the president enjoyed laughs, and even a fist pound, with ex-NBAer Alonzo Mourning and businessmen Glenn Hutchins and Cyrus Walker.<\/p>\n

The president didn\u2019t mention Steven Sotloff, a TIME reporter who was seen on the horrific video released Tuesday and could be the next victim of the malicious ISIS militants who vowed more killings if American airstrikes didn\u2019t stop in the Iraq region…<\/strong>“<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then again, what could or should one expect from an Administration who brands James Foley’s beheading an act of terror, but still classifies the murder of 13 innocent servicemen and women…<\/strong><\/p>\n

“President\u00a0Obama\u00a0on Wednesday condemned the made-for-YouTube murder of American James Foley with as much passion as we’ve seen from the cool Commander in Chief.<\/p>\n

He said that Foley’s killers in the jihadist Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham, or ISIS, “have rampaged across cities and villages, killing innocent, unarmed civilians in cowardly acts of violence. They abduct women and children, and subject them to torture and rape and slavery. They have murdered Muslims\u2014both Sunni and Shia\u2014by the thousands. They target Christians and religious minorities, driving them from their homes, murdering them when they can for no other reason than they practice a different religion.”<\/p>\n

All of this is horribly true. It was also true a year ago<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> The question now\u2014what the world wants to know now, Mr. President\u2014is what are you going to do about it<\/em><\/span>?<\/strong>…”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As for the unsuccessful raid to rescue Foley (the details of which, unlike the mission to get bin Laden, remain rightly classified), any question had it succeeded the particulars would have been trumpeted by Team Tick-Tock non-stop as the lead story in every newspaper and on every cable and network newscast in the country, without regard to national security?!? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

No doubt the mission met with failure because, unlike the bin Laden raid…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police: Man Robbed And Stabbed By Group Of Teenagers In Baltimore\u00a0City<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h1>\n

A 24-year-old man is listed in critical condition after being robbed and stabbed multiple times by a group of teenagers.<\/p>\n

Early Monday morning around 4:20 a.m. officers were called to the 1200-block of Wall Street for a reported stabbing. When officers arrived they located 24-year-old Sal Schittino suffering from multiple stab wounds to his body. A preliminary investigation revealed that Schittino was attacked by four black males between the ages of 16 and 18, who had been riding on mopeds.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

One of the suspects got off his moped and approached the Schittino. After assaulting Schittino, the suspect took his wallet and personal belongings.<\/p>\n

No word on when the America’s the chief of the Department of Racial Division…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Holder Says He Understands Mistrust of Police<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h1>\n

Attorney General Eric Holder sought Wednesday to reassure the people of Ferguson about the investigation into Michael Brown’s death and said he understands why many black Americans do not trust police, recalling how he was repeatedly stopped by officers who seemed<\/em><\/span><\/span>\u00a0(“seemed”?!?)<\/span> to target him because of his race.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

…The attorney general described how he was stopped twice on the New Jersey Turnpike and accused of speeding<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong> <\/span>(“accused”?!?)\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Police searched his car, going through the trunk and looking under the seats. “I remember how humiliating that was and how angry I was and the impact it had on me,”<\/strong><\/span> Holder said during a meeting with about 50 community leaders at the Florissant campus of St. Louis Community College.<\/p>\n

…While living in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, Holder was once running to catch a movie with his cousin when a squad car rolled up and flashed its lights at the pair. The officer yelled, “Where are you going? Hold it!” Holder recalled.<\/strong> <\/span>His cousin “started mouthing off,” and Holder urged him to be quiet. “We negotiate the whole thing, and we walk to our movie. At the time that he stopped me, I was a federal prosecutor. I wasn’t a kid,” he said…”<\/p>\n

With the exception of Edmund Ruffin, George Wallace…and of course his boss…Holder could well be the most blatantly-biased figure in American political history. \u00a0Once again, Holder is long on racist rhetoric but woefully short on details, let alone facts. \u00a0Think about it: when was the last time you<\/em><\/span> were “accused” of speeding?
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

Was Holder speeding? \u00a0Did Holder give the police in question permission to search his vehicle? \u00a0Why did the cop stop Holder in Georgetown? \u00a0As the answers to these and other questions would likely impugn the Attorney General’s integrity, depend on the MSM not delving deeper into their details.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Media and the Mob<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h1>\n

“Those of us who admit that we were not there, and do not know what happened when Michael Brown was shot by a policeman in Ferguson, Missouri, seem to be in the minority. We all know what has happened since then — and it has been a complete disgrace by politicians, the media and mobs of rioters and looters.<\/strong><\/span> Despite all the people who act as if they know exactly what happened, nevertheless when the full facts come out, that can change everything.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0is why we have courts of law, instead of relying on the media or mobs. But politics is undermining law.<\/p>\n

On the eve of a grand jury being convened to go through the facts and decide whether there should be a prosecution of the policeman in this case, Governor Jay Nixon of Missouri has gone on television to say that there should be a “vigorous prosecution.”\u00a0There was a time when elected officials avoided commenting on pending legal processes, so as not to bias those processes.<\/span> But Governor Nixon apparently has no fear of poisoning the jury pool.\u00a0<\/span>The only alternative explanation is that this is exactly what he intends to do<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong> It is a disgrace either way.<\/p>\n

Race is the wild card in all this. The idea that you can tell who is innocent and who is guilty by the color of their skin is a notion that was tried out for generations, back in the days of the Jim Crow South. I thought we had finally rejected that kind of legalized lynch law.<\/span> But apparently it has only been put under new management<\/em><\/span>…<\/strong>“<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yes…and the single common thread between those running the show…<\/strong><\/p>\n
