In his mostly admirable remarks about the beheading of American journalist James Foley by the jihadists of the so-called \u201cIslamic State,\u201d Obama returned to two of his favorite rhetorical themes: 1) the idea that in the end the good guys win simply because they are good<\/em><\/span>, and 2) that world opinion is a wellspring of great moral authority<\/em><\/span>…<\/strong><\/span>“<\/p>\n

Teddy Roosevelt, far less a Conservative than a Progressive, at least understood the need to carry a big stick while walking softly. \u00a0The only sticks The Obamao seems willing to carry are woods, irons and putters; and all he appears capable of doing is talking…preferably immediately prior to…<\/strong><\/p>\n

The title of this post, \u201cObama\u2019s America Is September\u00a010th<\/sup>\u00a0America\u201d is not a random description of the now. It\u2019s the title of a\u00a0column<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0I wrote six years ago \u2026 when then-candidate Obama was promising policies that would, inevitably, lead to an increasingly imperiled America \u2013 a provocatively weak America that regarded our enemies as mere defendants, just as we did before 9\/11 \u2026 when our enemies responded by attacking us again and again…”<\/p>\n

For those requiring proof of Team Tick-Tock’s inexplicably lackadaisical attitude towards national security, here’s Exhibit “A”:<\/strong><\/p>\n

TSA Admits Lying About Illegal Aliens Flying Without Proper ID<\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n

“A new letter from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) admits that illegal aliens were being allowed to board planes using Notice to Appear forms they received after entering the U.S. illegally. The revelation\u00a0directly contradicts a TSA statement\u00a0last month denying\u00a0such allegations to various media outlets, including Breitbart News.<\/span><\/strong><\/span> In July Breitbart Texas Managing Director Brandon Darby\u00a0broke the news\u00a0that the TSA was letting illegal aliens board planes using Notice to Appear forms; subsequently,\u00a0a\u00a0TSA spokesperson publicly\u00a0attacked\u00a0Darby\u00a0on Twitter, insisting that his report was “completely wrong.”<\/p>\n

The newly-surfaced\u00a0TSA letter was penned on August 7, according to the\u00a0Gateway Pundit. It was reportedly sent from the TSA to Rep.\u00a0Kenny Marchant (R-TX), a member of the\u00a0Border Security Caucus. The letter confirms that illegal aliens are being allowed to board planes using a Notice to Appear form (also known as I-862), as Darby revealed in July…<\/strong><\/span>“<\/p>\n

And if you don’t believe The Great Prevaricator’s politically-correct Progressive pusillanimity isn’t making an impression on America’s enemies, think again:<\/strong><\/p>\n

China rejects U.S. criticism over jet encounter<\/span><\/h1>\n

China<\/span>\u00a0on Saturday called US criticism of\u00a0an approach by one of its jets to a US Navy patrol plane off the Chinese coast earlier this week “completely groundless” and said its pilot had maintained a safe distance from the US aircraft.\u00a0The strongly-worded statement attributed to Ministry of National Defense spokesman Yang Yujun was a response to a diplomatic complaint the Pentagon filed with Beijing on Friday.<\/p>\n

The complaint concerned an August 19 encounter about 215 km (135 miles) east of China’s Hainan Island in which a Chinese fighter jet came within meters (yards) of a US P-8 Poseidon anti-submarine and reconnaissance plane and, the US claimed, performed acrobatic maneuvers around it.<\/strong><\/span> In its statement, the Chinese defense ministry said the J-11 jet was conducting routine checks and described the pilot’s actions as professional.<\/p>\n

The United States’ frequent short-range reconnaissance missions threatened the safety of both militaries, it said. It urged the US to reduce short-range reconnaissance against\u00a0China<\/span>\u00a0and to respect international law and conventions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It’s almost<\/em><\/span> enough to make one conclude…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fanning the Flames in Ferguson<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h1>\n

Why do only handful of such tragedies trigger national outrage?<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

“V<\/strong><\/span><\/span>iolence following the recent fatal shooting of an unarmed robbery suspect in Ferguson, Mo, has tragically followed a predictable script.<\/strong><\/span> On average, more than 6,000 African Americans are killed by gun violence each year. That startling figure is nearly equal to all of the U.S. combat fatalities incurred in both Afghanistan and Iraq over some 13 years. African Americans are the victims in about half of the homicides in America each year despite the fact that blacks represent only about 13 percent of the U.S. population.<\/p>\n

One would think that these alarming statistics would provoke the sort of protests that we\u2019ve seen in Ferguson, but that is not the case. Nor does racial unrest automatically follow cases in which white police officers fatally shoot black criminal suspects. Only a small handful of such instances trigger outrage in the black community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead, the sort of civil unrest we\u2019re seeing in Ferguson is most likely to be ignited by the infrequent and disparate cases in which someone white<\/em><\/span>, whether a police officer or not<\/em>, fatally shoots<\/em> an unarmed African\u00a0American<\/em><\/span>…<\/strong><\/span>“<\/p>\n

Which brings us to the crux of the matter, the aspect of the Ferguson shooting which the forces of anarchy and divisiveness claim justifies the arson, looting and lawlessness:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Did Officer Darren Wilson Fire Only Six Rounds?<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n

“Friday morning rolling along I-10 East I happened upon the Rush Limbaugh radio program. Not a regular listener but the program caught my attention because Rush said it was open line Friday for callers. Public opinion is always interesting.\u00a0<\/span>

A 32-year veteran of law enforcement (police officer), now retired, called\u00a0to comment on the Michael Brown shooting (by police officer Darren Wilson) in Ferguson, Missouri.\u00a0<\/span>He started\u00a0by saying that during his time in uniform eight (of his) fellow officers had been killed in the line of duty – by unarmed assailants.<\/strong> He stressed unarmed<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> Eight police officer murders<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>

He did not detail the particulars of each death but he did expound on one. During a struggle the police officer was struck (by a fist), momentarily stunned, and had his firearm taken from him.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>His efforts to evade and hide from\u00a0the now armed assailant failed. He was killed, by his firearm in the assailant’s hand, at point-blank range.<\/strong><\/span><\/span>

His point was that\u00a0that Michael Brown was unarmed, as some sort of defense for him being a victim, is nonsense<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong> <\/span>He went on to say that even the best trained police officer can have his hands full in a physical engagement and end up on the bad end of a lucky blow. Thus, in a blink of an eye<\/em>, an unarmed subject can be armed<\/em><\/span>…<\/strong><\/span>“<\/span><\/p>\n

But despite his imposing size, Brown’s backers claim he was a gentle<\/em><\/span> giant; yeah…<\/strong><\/p>\n
