Mother Charged With Burning Newborn Baby To Death In Burlington\u00a0County<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n

A young South Jersey mother is in jail, charged with the burning death of her newborn baby Friday night.\u00a0Authorities say 22-year-old Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier<\/em><\/span> of Pemberton, Burlington County doused her newborn baby with a flammable liquid then set the child on fire<\/em><\/span>. She then sat, crying in a car nearby, watching her baby burn in the street<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Under the laws of New Jersey, this is a crime…at least for now. \u00a0But in the Bizarro World of modern Liberalism, had young Hyphernkemberly visited nearby Philadelphia only a short time before, she could have delivered her baby and had a practicing physician<\/em><\/span>…<\/strong><\/p>\n

But we digress. \u00a0The point is, young\u00a0Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier of Pemberton, Burlington County is the<\/em><\/span> poster child for Progressive progress, a product of both an increasingly underperforming education system functioning only to provide union jobs and Dimocratic campaign funds, and a welfare system which dooms participants to perpetual poverty.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

And The Left blames the results on anyone<\/em>\u00a0or anything<\/em> but<\/em><\/span>\u00a0the actual causes: their own perverted policies and the decisions, judgment and actions of those whose lives they’ve destroyed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But this is different. Those distortions were political buzzphrases intended for domestic consumption and a re-election campaign. This is a much bigger deal. The threat of Islamic extremism transcends Obama\u2019s theological hubris and lexicological shenanigans. All that Obama\u2019s insipid rhetorical gamesmanship does is send the signal to friend and foe alike that he can\u2019t or won\u2019t see the problem for what it is<\/span><\/span><\/strong>…”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But as NRO<\/em>‘s Andrew McCarthy indirectly notes, and believe us, we’d prefer Jonah were right, Goldberg’s position assumes the man we<\/em><\/span> believe to be a true<\/em><\/span> Manchurian candidate actually thinks like the majority of sane Americans:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m Glad Obama Skipped Paris <\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n

He doesn\u2019t really believe in protecting speech critical of Islam<\/span>. <\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

I\u2019m glad he didn\u2019t send Vice President Biden (whose main job is to attend such exhibitions), Secretary of State Kerry (whose main job escapes me), or Attorney General Holder (who was in Paris but still didn\u2019t go).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not too often that the \u201cmost transparent administration in history\u201d is, what\u2019s the word?\u00a0.\u00a0.\u00a0.\u00a0transparent<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

To be sure, in the immediate time frame of these decisions, Obama was moved more by frivolity than by principle.<\/strong><\/span> On DOMA, he needed to make a gesture to well-heeled donors on the left who, in their frustration over the president\u2019s too-slow \u201cevolution\u201d on gay marriage, were withholding campaign cash. As for Paris, I suspect Obama wanted to watch the pro-football playoffs (which is why \u2014 \u00a0shades of Benghazi! \u2014 the White House refused to reveal what the Leader From Behind Of The Free World was doing in lieu of attending the free world\u2019s march).<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, even if the two decisions were not made for noble reasons<\/em>, they represented Obama\u2019s true positions<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> It is important that we know where the president stands<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Yup…<\/strong><\/p>\n
