She has no discernible political instincts. She doesn\u2019t even seem to enjoy the human contact on which successful public servants thrive. <strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>But boy can she fib with the best of them<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/o-PRESIDENT-OBAMA-WINK-facebook.jpg\"><img argued carefully \u2014 after trying a quick \u201cnothing to do with me\u201d for good measure \u2014 \u201cwas legally permitted, number one, first and foremost, okay?\u201d \u201cNumber two,\u201d she offered, \u201cthey\u2019ve already concluded more than 1,200 of the e-mails I gave them have nothing to do with the work, and I said make them public.\u201d \u201cI know,\u201d she concluded emphatically, that \u201cthere\u2019s a certain level of, you know, sort of anxiety or interest in this, but the facts are the facts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">The facts are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>indeed<\/em><\/span> the facts.<\/span> <em>But<\/em>, <span style=\"color: #008000;\">(Or perhaps, in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Hillary&#8217;s<\/em><\/span> case, more accurately&#8230;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/hillary_shaking_ass.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-32881\" \u201c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Send: Why People Email So Badly and How to Do It Better<\/em><\/span>,\u201d by David Shipley and Will Schwalbe.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Clinton has <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not<\/em><\/span> said <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>why she requested the book<\/em><\/span>, but it includes some advice that is particularly interesting in light of the controversy over her unconventional email arrangement at the State Department and her decision to delete tens of thousands of emails she deemed to be purely personal.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The copy that ABC downloaded for $9.99 had some interesting revelations.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Take, for example, Chapter Six: \u201cThe Email That Can Land You In Jail.\u201d<\/span> The chapter includes a section entitled \u201cHow to Delete Something So It Stays Deleted.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>\u201cSome people are hoarders, some are checkers,\u201d the authors write. <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">\u201cThe main thing to consider is that once you do decide to delete, it\u2019s like taking the garbage from your kitchen and putting it in your hallway.<\/span> <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">It\u2019s still there<\/span><\/em>.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>The chapter advised that to truly delete emails may require a special rewriting program \u201c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>to make sure that it\u2019s not just elsewhere on the drive but has in fact been written over sixteen or twenty times and rendered undefinable<\/em><\/span>.\u201d&#8230;<span style=\"color: #333399;\">Later, on page 226, the writers warn, \u201c<em>If you\u2019re issued a subpoena, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">your deletion binge will only make you look guilty<\/span><\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Res&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/iofdw.jpg\"><img style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KudwS5U9ouA\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">It\u2019s a recruiting video for a University of Alabama sorority, and it just might be the least-Ivy-League-feminist five minutes ever posted on the internet. It went semi-viral after a writer for <em>AL.com<\/em> called it \u201cworse for women than Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Her case:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>It\u2019s a parade of white girls and blonde hair dye, coordinated clothing, bikinis and daisy dukes, glitter and kisses, bouncing bodies, euphoric hand-holding and hugging, gratuitous booty shots, and matching aviator sunglasses. <span style=\"color: #990909;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">It\u2019s all so racially and aesthetically homogeneous and forced, so hyper-feminine, so reductive and objectifying, so Stepford Wives: College Edition<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">It\u2019s all so \u2026 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">unempowering<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The University seemed to agree, penning its own condemnation:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>This video is not reflective of UA\u2019s expectations for student organizations to be responsible digital citizens,\u201d Deborah Lane, the associate vice president for university relations said in a statement. <strong><span style=\"color: #990909;\">\u201cIt is important for student organizations to remember what is posted on social media makes a difference, today and tomorrow, on how they are viewed and perceived.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I have three thoughts. <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>First, what\u2019s \u201cunempowering\u201d is the notion that these women aren\u2019t autonomous enough to decide for themselves the life they enjoy or the image they choose to present.<\/strong><\/span> No men were demanding they do this video. Indeed, the audience is obviously like-minded women \u2014 people looking for exactly the social experience depicted on the video. I<span style=\"color: #990909;\"><strong>t\u2019s no wonder so few women describe themselves as \u201cfeminist\u201d if that means joining a movement that\u2019s going to crush other women online if they choose to project a \u201chyper-feminine\u201d image.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Second, it\u2019s more than a little disturbing to see an arm of the state determining that a frivolous little video <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>depicting exactly zero unlawful or irresponsible behavior<\/em><\/span> doesn\u2019t comport with its definition of a \u201cresponsible digital citizen<\/strong><\/span>.\u201d&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Welcome to&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a
