Practically every Islamic sect agrees to it and practices it\u2026 Taqiyya\u00a0is very prevalent in Islamic politics, especially in the modern era.\u201d (Specific references to taqiyya in the Quran, the Hadith, and in Islamic law, can be found <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thereligionofpeace.com\/Quran\/011-taqiyya.htm\">here<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span>.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">One of the most common and persistent forms of taqiyya we are witnessing today is noted at Islam-Watch:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>When placed under scrutiny or criminal investigation, (even when there is overwhelming, irrefutable evidence of guilt or complicity), the taqiyya-tactician will quickly attempt to counter the allegation by resorting to the claim that it is, in fact, the accused who are the &#8216;the victims&#8217;.<\/strong><\/span> Victims of Islamophobia, racism, religious discrimination and intolerance. It is the ultimate zero-sum contest \u2014 you win or you lose.\u00a0That eternal truth is so obvious that it should not need to be said. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Yet even after the horrific slaughter in Paris, there remains a distressing doubt about whether America\u2019s commander in chief gets it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">President Obama has spent the last seven years trying to avoid the world as it is. He has put his intellect and rhetorical skills into the dishonorable service of assigning blame and fudging failure. <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>If nuances were bombs, Islamic State would have been destroyed years ago.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">He refuses to say \u201cIslamic terrorism,\u201d as if that would offend the peaceful Muslims who make up the vast bulk of victims.<\/span> He rejects the word \u201cwar,\u201d even as jihadists carry out bloodthirsty attacks against Americans and innocent peoples around the world.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>He shuns the mantle of global leadership that comes with the Oval Office, with an aide advancing the preposterous concept that Obama is \u201cleading from behind.\u201d<\/strong><\/span> He snubs important partners like Egypt, showers concessions on the apocalyptic mullahs of Iran, and called the Islamic State the \u201cjayvee team\u201d even as it was beginning to create a caliphate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Having long ago identified American power as a problem, he continues to slash the military as the enemy expands its reach. In a globalized era, the Obama doctrine smacks of cowardly retreat and fanciful isolation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">In an accident of timing that captures his cluelessness, the president actually declared on Friday morning that Islamic State had been \u201ccontained,\u201d practically boasting in a TV interview that, \u201cThey have not gained ground in Iraq and in Syria.\u201d\u00a0What gall. Another sin was driving away when a mob surrounded his car at homecoming festivities. Wolfe has since apologized, groveled (\u201cmy apology is long overdue\u201d), and resigned. Good riddance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Events at the University of Missouri were a perfect American storm: the confluence of fascistic student and faculty behavior, viral rumors of white racism, and the almighty dollar. <strong>That\u2019s right, the dollar, because as an American university administrator, you can offend every principle enshrined in the Bible and the U.S. Constitution, you can make a mockery of higher education by offering courses on Martha Stewart\u2019s whiteness or Fifty Shades of Grey, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>but don\u2019t mess with the football team<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong> That\u2019s where the real power resides. When the black football players threatened to boycott this weekend\u2019s game against Brigham Young, the university president had to go.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">There has been some tut-tutting, even among liberals, about modern university students\u2019 hypersensitivity. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>But let\u2019s not kid ourselves \u2014 <em>though it is couched in the language of safety, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">what these little snowflakes want is repression<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/span> Brenda Smith-Lezama, for example, is the vice president of the Missouri Students Association. Asked about efforts on the Missouri campus to \u201cmuscle\u201d student journalists away from a public event, she offered a view that would make Castro proud: \u201cI personally am tired of hearing that First Amendment rights protect students when they are creating a hostile and unsafe learning environment for myself and for other students here,\u201d she told MSNBC&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perhaps in the future, to spare these delicate little flowers the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, even&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/download4.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33774\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/download4.jpeg\" alt=\"download\" width=\"492\" height=\"494\"
