“Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid (Nev.) says a House bill suspending the resettlement of Syrian refugees, slated for action Thursday, will not make it to President Obama\u2019s desk. Reid said at a press conference that Democrats will block the legislation that requires the secretary of Homeland Security to affirm to Congress that every refugee being admitted is not a security threat.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\u201cThe problem is not with refugees,\u201d Reid said.<\/strong><\/span> \u201cI don\u2019t think we\u2019ll be dealing with it over here.\u201d When asked about the prospect of Obama vetoing the legislation, Reid said, \u201cDon\u2019t worry, it won\u2019t get passed.<\/span> Next question?\u201d<\/strong><\/span>“<\/p>\n

Now that the House has passed the legislation with veto-proof, bipartisan support, we’ll be curious to see how many Senate Dimocrats are willing to keep their political futures hitched to the rapidly falling stars of B. Hussein Obama and his lapdog, Harry Reid.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When asked the likely penalty Dimocrats would pay in 2016 for opposing the bill, one senior Republican aide in the House said: \u201cWe\u2019ll crucify them\u201d. \u00a0He was of course referring to the political<\/em><\/span> price; but should ISIS operatives successfully launch another terror attack on U.S. soil between now and next November, Dimocrats may well find themselves quite literally<\/em> hanging from trees…or at the very least run out of town on rails!<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Secretary of State John Kerry suggested on Tuesday that there was a \u201crationale\u201d for the assault on satirical French weekly Charlie Hebdo, unlike the more recent attacks in Paris.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s something different about what happened from Charlie Hebdo, and I think everybody would feel that,” Kerry said in Paris<\/strong><\/span>, according to a transcript of his remarks. “There was a sort of particularized focus and perhaps even a legitimacy<\/em><\/span> in terms of \u2014 not a legitimacy, but a rationale<\/em> that you could attach yourself to somehow and say, OK, they\u2019re really angry because of this and that<\/em><\/span>.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis Friday was absolutely indiscriminate. It wasn\u2019t to aggrieve one particular sense of wrong. It was to terrorize people,\u201d he continued<\/strong><\/span>…”<\/p>\n

More likely, just like his boss, his mind simply hasn’t been open…<\/strong><\/p>\n
