underline;\"><em>pray<\/em><\/span> that Robert Mueller will put on his Superman outfit and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>save them underline;\">what the left hates about Donald Trump<\/span> is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">precisely what it hates about America<\/span><\/em>.<\/span> The implications are <em>important<\/em>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>and painful<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a underline;\">revels<\/span> in wealth and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">feels no need to apologize<\/span>\u2014<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ever<\/span><\/em>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">He <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>never learned<\/em><\/span> to keep his real opinions to himself <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>because he never had to<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> He <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>never learned<\/em><\/span> to be embarrassed that he is male, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>with ordinary male proclivities<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">Sometimes he has treated women disgracefully, for which Americans, left and right, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>are ashamed of him<\/em><\/span>\u2014<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>as they are of JFK and Bill Clinton<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>But my job as a voter is to choose the candidate <em>who will do best for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">America<\/span><\/em>.<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> I am sorry about the coarseness of the unconstrained average American that Mr. Trump conveys.<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>That coarseness is unpresidential and makes us look bad to other nations<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em>On the other hand, many of his opponents <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">worry too much about what other people think<\/span><\/em>.<\/span> I would love the esteem of France, Germany and Japan. <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>But I don\u2019t find myself losing sleep over it<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>The difference between citizens who <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">hate<\/span> Mr. Trump and those who <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">can live with him<\/span>\u2014<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">whether they love or merely tolerate him<\/span><\/em>\u2014<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>comes down to their views of the typical American<\/em><\/span>: the farmer, factory hand, auto mechanic, machinist, teamster, shop owner, clerk, software engineer, infantryman, truck driver, housewife. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>leftist intellectuals<\/em><\/span> I know say they <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>dislike<\/em><\/span> such people <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>insofar as they tend to be conservative Republicans<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama know their <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>real<\/em><\/span> sins. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">They know how appalling such people are, with their stupid guns and loathsome churches.<\/span> They have no money or permanent grievances to make them interesting and no\u00a0Twitter\u00a0followers to speak of.<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> They skip Davos every year <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>and<\/em><\/span> watch Fox News.<\/span> Not even the very best has the dazzling brilliance of a Chuck Schumer, not to mention a Michelle Obama. <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>In truth they are dumb as sheep<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Mr. Trump reminds us <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>who<\/em><\/span> the <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">average American really is<\/span><\/em>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Not<\/em><\/span> the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>average<\/em> <em>male American<\/em><\/span>, or the <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">average white American<\/span><\/em>.<\/span> We know <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>for sure<\/em><\/span> that, <em>come 2020<\/em>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>intellectuals will be dumbfounded at the number of women and blacks who will vote for Mr. Trump<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">He might be realigning the political map: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>plain average Americans of every type<\/em><\/span> vs. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>fancy ones<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Many left-wing intellectuals are counting on technology to do away with the jobs that sustain all those old-fashioned truck-driver-type people, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>but they are laughably wide of the mark<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">It is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>impossible<\/em><\/span> to transport food and clothing, or hug your wife or girl or child, or sit silently with your best friend, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>over the internet<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <em>Perhaps that\u2019s obvious,<\/em> <em>but <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">to be<\/span> an intellectual means <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">nothing is obvious<\/span><\/em>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">Mr. Trump is no genius, <em>but if you have mastered the obvious and add common sense, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">you are nine-tenths of the way home<\/span><\/em>.<\/span> (Scholarship is fine, but the typical modern intellectual cheapens his learning with politics, and is proud to vary his teaching with broken-down left-wing junk.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>This all leads to an important question\u2014one that will be dismissed indignantly today, but not by historians in the long run: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Is it possible to hate Donald Trump but not the average American<\/em><\/span>?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong>Those who voted for Mr. Trump, and will vote for his candidates this November, <em>worry about <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the nation<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not its image<\/span><\/em>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">The president deserves our respect because Americans deserve it\u2014<em>not such fancy-pants extras as network commentators, socialist high-school teachers and eminent professors, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">but the basic human stuff that has made America great, and is making us greater all the time<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>If we might invoke the memory of the late, great Rodney Dangerfield, Trump is part the embodiment of Thornton Mellon taking on the elitist Professor Philip Barbay in <em>Back to School<\/em>&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/byJCcMJZElg?start=64\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: Clive Barlow\u00a0in <em>Easy Money<\/em>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6eE4VrSURb4?start=59\" width=\"420\" Average Citizen&#8230;or at least the way John Q. Average Citizen <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>wishes<\/em><\/span>\u00a0he was!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Which brings us to\u00a0<em>The Lighter Side<\/em>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a from a tree, according to reports. <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Dharampal Singh, 72, suffered head and chest injuries in the attack and was later pronounced dead in hospital. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">Mr Singh was collecting pieces of dry wood when the group of monkeys launched their attack on Thursday.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">It is believed the monkeys had <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>armed themselves<\/em><\/span> with bricks they had collected earlier from a run down building nearby in Tikri, Uttar Pradesh.<\/span> <em>Villagers have repeatedly complained that aggressive monkeys in the area <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">have made their lives hell<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">but the animals are a protected species so little can be done<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;Mr Singh\u2019s brother Krishnapal\u00a0told The Times of India: &#8220;Monkeys threw more than 20 bricks at Dharampal on Thursday. <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>&#8220;Thrown from quite a height, the bricks were enough to kill him. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">These rogue monkeys are the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>real culprits<\/em><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>must pay for it<\/em><\/span>.&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>Mr Singh&#8217;s family <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">has lodged a formal complaint<\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">named monkeys as the accused<\/span> but police insisted <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">they cannot prosecute monkeys<\/span> and have declared Mr Singh\u2019s death was an accident<\/em>. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">Chitwan Singh, station officer at Doghat police station, said: &#8220;How can we register the case against monkeys?<\/span> <span #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">Deadly attacks by monkeys have been on rise throughout the country and wildlife experts say that rhesus macaques are usually to blame &#8211;
