Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.,\u00a0claimed during a recent town hall event that the Department of Veterans\u00a0Affairs \u201cisn\u2019t broken<\/em><\/span>” and is\u00a0actually<\/em><\/span> providing \u201csome of the highest quality\u201d care to veterans<\/em><\/span>. \u201cAll I can think of is that classic refrain that my parents always taught me growing up, is that: \u2018if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it<\/em><\/span>,\u2019” she said in New York, as part of her argument against privatizing aspects of the scandal-scarred agency’s work<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

…Ocasio-Cortez’s comments were aimed at Trump administration efforts to expand\u00a0choice and private health care options in the VA health care system, particularly\u00a0via the MISSION Act — signed into law by President Trump last year.<\/strong><\/span>“<\/p>\n

Which just goes to prove not only<\/em><\/span> has AOC no personal experience WHATSOEVER with the VA “health” system<\/em><\/span>, it further confirms the woman is either: (a) dangerously ignorant; (b) an accomplished liar<\/em>; or, (c) completely crazy<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Or<\/em><\/span>, as we’d<\/em><\/span> maintain,\u00a0all three<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Her utterly erroneous claim is as much a response to Trump’s efforts to improve veteran healthcare via limited privatization as an anticipatory attempt by Progressives to shield their dream of socialized medicine from the harsh reality of its only functioning…make that MAL<\/em><\/span>functioning…example.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Barr Press Conference: No Obstruction on the Facts of the Case<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n

“T<\/span>he most interesting new disclosure to come out of Attorney General William Barr\u2019s press conference on the Mueller report was about obstruction of justice.<\/p>\n

As I pointed out in a<\/span>\u00a0Fox News column<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span>\u00a0this morning, the obstruction issue was one of the main reasons why the media-Democrat complex\u2019s caterwauling about Barr\u2019s unremarkable decision to hold a press conference was ludicrous.<\/span> Special Counsel Mueller declined to render a prosecutorial judgment<\/em><\/span> on whether obstruction charges should be brought against the president<\/em><\/span>. Since it is the attorney general<\/em><\/span> who made the judgment, for that reason alone<\/em><\/span> it was worth hearing from him this morning.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

…<\/span>The problem we have when a prosecutor makes a decision that implicates politics is that an unreal standard is imposed. For a prosecutor<\/em><\/span>, either there<\/em> is<\/em><\/span> enough evidence of a crime or there<\/em> is not<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> There is no gray area in between. But in reality, there is more gray area than anything else.<\/span> The fact that no crime<\/span> is found does not mean<\/span> the underlying conduct merits our endorsement<\/span><\/em>. It is common sense<\/em><\/span> that we can conclude<\/span><\/em> the president did not handle each of the ten incidents in a way we find admirable<\/em><\/span>, and at the same time agree<\/em><\/span> that the president\u2019s conduct<\/span> <\/em>was not felonious<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Common sens<\/em>e is in short supply, though<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span>“<\/p>\n

Openly Gay Trump Admin Member Compares Buttigieg to Jussie Smollett<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n

“South Bend, Indiana Mayor and 2020 presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg insists<\/em><\/span> on picking a fight with Vice President Mike Pence, but so far he’s been disappointed. Pence has “no problem” with Buttigieg, having worked with him when he was governor of Indiana.<\/span> He’s known him for years. Still<\/em><\/span>, the mayor insists<\/em><\/span> that Pence’s belief in traditional marriage and his views on homosexuality are bigoted and backward<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

U.S. ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell is also gay, yet he took Pence’s side on this one. In a recent Fox News interview, he not only defended the Pences’ character, but he went so far as to accuse Buttigieg of staging a “hate hoax” in the same vein as “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Pence<\/em><\/span>, Grenell shared, has warmly “accepted” him and his partner, and have always extended to them Christian hospitality<\/span><\/em>.<\/span> Buttigieg<\/em><\/span>, meanwhile, “<\/em>has been pushing this hate hoax along the lines of Jussie Smollett for a very long time no<\/em>w<\/span>.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Grenell finds it “really ironic” that Buttigieg waited to speak out against Pence until he announced his campaign for president<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span>…”<\/p>\n

We’d suggest an alternate comparison<\/em><\/span>: Christine Ballsey Ford failing to recollect anything<\/em><\/span> about Brett Kavanaugh until after<\/em><\/span> he was nominated to Supreme Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Next up, an incident which we<\/em><\/span> believe, at least when it comes to the FBI, reveals the Deep State is alive and well and living under Team Trump<\/em><\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

First, these are CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS, NOT<\/em><\/span> “migrants”…NOT<\/em><\/span> “asylum-seekers.\u00a0 And, Progressive protestations to the contrary getting the consideration they deserve, it’s not a question of whether<\/em><\/span> to secure our southern border…<\/strong><\/p>\n
