suffered a &#8220;medical episode&#8221; during an appearance with Bill deBlowmeo:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jrRGXs9581s\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>We know it&#8217;s wrong, but we find it difficult to wish this bloated, bloviated bag of bile anything <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>but<\/em><\/span> the worst.\u00a0 Besides, when <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>this<\/em><\/span> is what you look like <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>AFTER<\/em><\/span> you diet&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/D7XLsKEXkAAqZpq.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-70224\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/D7XLsKEXkAAqZpq.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/D7XLsKEXkAAqZpq.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/D7XLsKEXkAAqZpq-169x300.jpg 169w\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/l_hNgGVDfNs?start=38&amp;end=41&amp;\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8230;is being <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>kind<\/em><\/span>, a concept with which the vituperative, evil Mr. Nadler is wholly unfamiliar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaking of bloviating bags of bile, if<\/strong><strong>\u00a0you&#8217;ve ever wondered how America&#8217;s moral decline has happened so quickly, and without anyone seeming to notice, compare this seemingly innocuous but deliberately deceptive diminishment by Dewey (aka, &#8220;<em>DWE<\/em>&#8220;, aka &#8220;<em>Dick With Ears<\/em>&#8220;):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GhZ-xM-0yok?start=7&amp;end=43&amp;\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Yeah, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>sure<\/em><\/span>: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>he<\/em><\/span> believes in God&#8230;like <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>we<\/em><\/span> believe in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the Easter Bunny<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 It&#8217;s just <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not that important<\/em><\/span> to reaffirm &#8220;In God We Trust&#8221; as our nation&#8217;s motto&#8230;a phrase which recognizes the same Creator who endowed all men with certain unalienable Rights\u00a0as the source of our freedom and the bedrock upon which the Founding Fathers built our Republic.\u00a0 <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">But<\/span><\/em>, you know, he <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>believes<\/em><\/span> in God!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fast forward to less than eight years later, and <em>voil\u00e0<\/em>: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>God<\/em><\/span> is not only <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>unimportant<\/em><\/span>, He&#8217;s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>no longer welcome<\/em><\/span>, at least in Progressive circles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tLi6eYMtwww\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>And note: the bloated, bloviating bag of bile at the heart of the deliberate Dimocratic efforts to hasten the nation&#8217;s moral decline: Jerry Nadler.\u00a0 So here&#8217;s wishing Nadler a speedy recovery&#8230;but only to a point which precludes him from ever again assuming any position of power.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Now, here&#8217;s <em>The Gouge<\/em>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>First up, we recognize the passing of one of the most undeservedly maligned athletes in the history of professional sports:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/32418w.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/32418w.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/32418w-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>As Mookie Wilson accurately observed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cWe had developed a friendship that lasted well over 30 years,&#8221; Wilson said in a statement.<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u00a0&#8220;I felt badly for some of the things he went through.<\/strong> <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Bill was a <em>great<\/em>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>great<\/em><\/span> baseball player <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>whose legacy should know you&#8217;re already in the game.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Turning from Heaven to Hell,\u00a0despite Chicago&#8217;s new Black <em>female<\/em> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>lesbian<\/em><\/span> Dimocratic mayor promising her election would usher in an era of change, as this <em>FOX News<\/em> report relates, it&#8217;s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>still business-as-usual<\/em><\/span> in the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Murder Capital of the United States<\/em><\/span>, as&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"headline\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/more-than-30-shot-5-fatally-during-memorial-day-weekend-in-chicago-police\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">More than 34 shot \u2013 5 fatally \u2013 during Memorial Day weekend in Chicago<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/facebook.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" underline;\"><em>Sunday<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 We don&#8217;t know how <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>you<\/em><\/span> spent your the first two-thirds of your Memorial Day weekend, but here&#8217;s how a number of Chicagoans spent <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>theirs<\/em><\/span>:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The violence <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>began Friday<\/em><\/span> when a 15-year-old boy and a\u00a027-year-old were shot while walking down the street in South Sawyer.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>&#8230;At least <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>nine more<\/em><\/span> were shot late Friday night, the report said. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">The victims ranged from 17 to 45.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>first\u00a0fatality<\/em><\/span>\u00a0occurred around <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>6:30 p.m. on Saturday<\/em><\/span>, when a gunman <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>opened fire on a 29-year-old man standing on a porch<\/em><\/span>&#8230;<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">No suspects are in custody.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Around <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>10 p.m.<\/em><\/span>, two men were hit with bullets from a passing vehicle. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Both were taken to a hospital but only one survived.<\/span> A few hours later, police were responding to a disturbance <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>where a man was shot while standing on a sidewalk<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Police said two men and two women between the ages of 25 and 31 were shot <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>around 6 a.m. Sunday morning<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #008000;\">(<em>For some reason we doubt they were getting up early for church.<\/em>)<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The four victims were taken to a hospital where <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>both men died<\/em><\/span> and the women\u2019s condition stabilized.<\/span><\/strong> <strong>Police have recovered weapons and a suspect <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">is<\/span><\/em> in custody, NBC Chicago reported.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>By Sunday evening, the number of victims shot stood at <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>34<\/em><\/span>, including the five who died, according to police.<\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A relatively modest increase on Monday brought the total toll to 41 shot, 7 fatally.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Forget about <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>just<\/em><\/span> the last Monday in May; in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Chi-Town<\/em><\/span>&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>every day<\/em><\/span>\u00a0is Memorial Day.\u00a0 And a<\/strong><strong>nyone seeking to blame the senseless slaughter on guns rather than the cultural cancer eating at this city&#8217;s heart is either looking to politically profit from the continued carnage or a liar&#8230;or <em>most probably<\/em>\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>both<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Next, as Jim Freeman wonders at\u00a0<em>Best of the Web<\/em>&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"wsj-article-headline\" underline;\"><em>Every Democrat in the House<\/em><\/span> chamber on Friday <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>voted for<\/em><\/span> the appealingly titled \u201cEquality Act.\u201d<\/span> But <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>next year<\/em><\/span> Democrats are likely to find that<em> support for the bill <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">among swing voters<\/span> is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">far from unanimous<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The legislation appears to expand government power in a number of significant ways.<\/strong><\/span> Today Brad Polumbo\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><a class=\"icon none\" style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/opinion\/2019\/05\/20\/lgbtq-equality-act-fails-fair-religious-freedom-provisions-accommodation-column\/3731197002\/?mod=article_inline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">writes<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0in USA Today:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><p><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><em>The bill <\/em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">purports<\/span><em> to protect LGBT Americans like me by prohibiting discrimination&#8230;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">On the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">surface<\/span>, this sounds <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">unobjectionable<\/span> \u2014 after all, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">no one deserves to face discrimination<\/span>.<\/span> Yet the bill defined \u201cpublic accommodations\u201d <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">so loosely<\/span> and called for regulations <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">so sweeping<\/span> that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">it would crush religious freedom and radically reshape American society<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><p><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">For example, the Equality Act <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">undermines the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act<\/span>, which <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">established a balancing test for religious freedom claims<\/span>.<\/span> It established <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">a process for the litigation of discrimination grievances<\/span>, where <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">religious employers could appeal if found responsible for an offense and their actions could be fairly evaluated<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><p><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">This helped <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ensure<\/span> that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">reasonable<\/span> invocations of religious freedom <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">are permitted<\/span>, such as <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">a private, Catholic school only wanting to hire teachers who live in accordance with biblical values<\/span>, but <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">blatant discrimination<\/span>, such as <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">a grocery store randomly firing someone for being gay<\/span>, is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not<\/span>.<\/span> Yet in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">any<\/span> of these situations, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the so-called Equality Act would mandate that an LGBT person\u2019s claim wins by default<\/span> \u2014 therefore <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not ensuring equality<\/span> but <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">elevating their rights over those of religious Americans<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>&#8230;Libertarians and social conservatives <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>aren\u2019t the only ones expressing reservations<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong> <\/span>Duke law professor and former track athlete Doriane Coleman, tennis legend Martina Navratilova and four-time Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><strong><a class=\"icon none broken_link\" style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/pass-the-equality-act-but-dont-abandon-title-ix\/2019\/04\/29\/2dae7e58-65ed-11e9-a1b6-b29b90efa879_story.html?utm_term=.43e5fe778b97&amp;mod=article_inline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span>\u00a0about the bill last month in the Washington Post.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>The authors&#8230;explained the implications of allowing people born male to compete against females:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>Team USA sprinter Allyson Felix <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">has the most World Championship medals in history<\/span>, male <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">or<\/span> female, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">and is tied with Usain Bolt for the most World Championship golds<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">Her <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">lifetime best<\/span> in the 400 meters is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">49.26 seconds<\/span>.<\/span> In <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">2018 alone<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">275 high school boys ran faster on 783 occasions<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">The sex differential is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">even more pronounced<\/span> in sports and events <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">involving jumping<\/span>.<\/span> Team USA\u2019s Vashti Cunningham <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">has the American record for high school girls in the high jump at 6 feet, 4\u00bd inches<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">Last year <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">just in California<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">50 high school boys jumped higher<\/span>.<\/span> The sex differential <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">isn\u2019t<\/span> the result of boys and men having a male gender identity, more resources, better training or superior discipline.<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">It\u2019s because they have androgenized bodies<\/span>.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The bill is going nowhere while Republicans control the Senate and the White House. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>But based on the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">unanimous<\/span> support among House Democrats, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">voters can reasonably expect such legislation to become law in the people.\u201d<\/strong><\/span> The professor, Greta LaFleur, made the comments in\u00a0a piece\u00a0analyzing Buttigieg and his husband\u2019s appearance on the recent\u00a0<em>Time<\/em>\u00a0magazine cover.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>At the beginning of the piece, she concocts an almost incomprehensible buzzword salad about \u201cwhiteness\u201d and how \u201cwhite\u201d the photo is.<\/strong><\/span> For example:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><em>This photo also tells a profound story about whiteness, above and beyond the fact that almost everything in this photo is, itself, white. <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">It\u2019s such an all-consuming aesthetic, here, that it practically resists interpretation; like the generically familiar (to me, a white person) porch, the cover photo claims that there\u2019s nothing to see, because we already know what it is.<\/span> We have seen this image, we know this couple, \u201cwe\u201d should be comfortable.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Then, she immediately transitions into <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>suggesting that the apparent comfortability that the \u201cwhiteness\u201d of the photo provides basically makes it a heterosexual photo<\/em><\/span>: \u201cThe argument I am making, of course, is that this photo is about a lot of things, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>but one of its defining features is its heterosexuality<\/em><\/span>,\u201d LaFleur writes. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">\u201cIt\u2019s offering us the promise that our first <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>gay<\/em><\/span> first family might actually be a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>straight<\/em><\/span> one.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>La Fleur, who herself identifies as \u201cqueer,\u201d<\/strong><\/span>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a Democrats: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">white, centrist, and without women<\/span><\/em>,\u201d she concludes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Honestly<\/em><\/span>, <em>I think that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">her piece may just be the most insane, stupid thing that I have ever seen on the Internet<\/span> \u2014 and, if you\u2019ve spent even five minutes on the Internet, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">you know that that\u2019s saying something<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong> <\/span><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>The truth is, this photo actually <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>does not<\/em><\/span> represent \u201cheterosexuality at its immaterial and strategic best,\u201d <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>because it does not represent court records show. <span style=\"color: #196bb3;\">Cops also arrived at the hospital when alerted of the gunshot wound and searched Wilson\u2019s car <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>where they discovered a bag of meth in the blood-stained jeans he was wearing when he shot himself<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a
