<span style=\"color: #333399;\">If <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>I<\/em><\/span> were there, would <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>I<\/em><\/span> have allowed the kids to be in that situation?<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>No<\/em><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>no<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">There was a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>disrespect at play<\/em><\/span> that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>doesn\u2019t work for me<\/em><\/span> in these circumstances,\u201d Cuomo said<\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Did he follow his own advice, let alone pass his own test?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1otTZq6UzLM?start=192\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>There you have Progressive morals and ethics in a nutshell: they&#8217;re <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>purely situational<\/em><\/span>, and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>never binding upon themselves<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>More importantly, Cuomo delivered his profanity-laced tirade in front of his wife and 9-year-old daughter.\u00a0 Way to set an example&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lCs7qjJzoDg?start=108&amp;end=109&amp;\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>We found it particularly telling, again as Mr. Meisen noted, Cuomo had to tell the guy precisely &#8220;who he was&#8221;: &#8220;I&#8217;m an anchor at <em>CNN<\/em>!&#8221;\u00a0 Yeah, Fredo, you&#8217;re an anchor at <em>CNN<\/em>&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2X9E9n6GHC8?start=0&amp;end=8&amp;\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8230;which is likely why the guy <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>didn&#8217;t know<\/em><em> who or what you were<\/em><\/span>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It should also be noted Cuomo had no problem <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DonaldJTrumpJr\/status\/1161099192355475456\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>with guests on his show using the n-word in reference to The Donald<\/em><\/span><\/a>, nor does the threat posed by a single individual referring to you as &#8220;Fredo&#8221; in a public setting remotely approach that of a late-night mob&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vCBPdt4iLrQ\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8230;specifically threatening physical harm.\u00a0 Ben Shapiro put it best:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Z1wWbNP4MS0?start=225&amp;end=340&amp;\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>And as G. Trevor so insightfully observed, this yet another example of The Left taking a word, in this case a proper noun, unrelated to racism and declaring it an ethnic slur.\u00a0 Fredo was the cowardly, unintelligent, underachieving scion of notable father, which is exactly what Chris Cuomo happens to be.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seriously, like Chelsea Clinton before him, can anyone imagine Cuomo landing a\u00a0<em>CNN<\/em> gig if his name was Chris Smith and his father had been a pipefitter in Poughkeepsie?!?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Still, t<\/strong><strong>wo things are certain: (1) for a group which supposedly eschews violence, The Left certainly has no problem threatening same whenever it suits them; and (2) contrary to his &#8220;sworn&#8221; statement denying <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>ever<\/em><\/span> having travelled on the <a href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2019\/07\/everything-we-know-about-jeffrey-epsteins-private-islands.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>Lolita Express<\/em><\/span><\/a> to the<em>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2019\/07\/everything-we-know-about-jeffrey-epsteins-private-islands.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\">Island of Sin<\/span><\/a><\/em>, the passenger manifests from Epstein&#8217;s private pedophile transport lists Clinton as a passenger <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/qr7WFZoMRSg\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>27 times<\/em><\/span><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2016\/may\/14\/bill-clinton-ditched-secret-service-on-multiple-lo\/\" class=\"broken_link\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; Carlson did. And it bothers the left that his MSNBC and CNN competitors do not resonate with the public to the same degree. That he brings in guests with opposite opinions and debates them is not seen in progressive circles as anything to be emulated \u2014 especially when leftist guests are not shy in expressing often extreme views.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Second, Tucker is an <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>idiosyncratic<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not<\/em><\/span> an <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>orthodox<\/em><\/span>, conservative.<\/strong><\/span> He has voiced concern over the role of the Koch brothers and support for the use of tariffs to force China to trade reciprocally and fairly. The Never Trump movement especially dislikes Carlson\u2019s views.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Lots of other Republicans do not appreciate his criticism of optional military engagements or the ubiquitous role of the U.S. military abroad. Often, his on-air conservative guests are as critical and as criticized as liberal ones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Nor is his support for much of Trump\u2019s populist economic agenda consistent with doctrinaire free-market economics. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>And the net result is that Carlson\u2019s leftist opponents rightly believe <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>he is not always supported by conservatives and thus can be isolated as a heretic and outlander<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Passions certainly are cresting, but <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the hatred<\/em><\/span> is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>still not really proportional<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Conservatives are not swarming the homes of liberal anchors or portray conservatives hunting down and killing liberal elites, and conservative celebrities are not voicing creative ways of shooting, stabbing or decapitating liberal political style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">45 tons of nonrecyclable plastic<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Solar power<\/span> requires <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">to provide the materials necessary to build the number of solar panels<\/span>, the International Energy Agency forecasts. <span style=\"color: #800000;\">World demand for rare-earth elements\u2014<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">which aren\u2019t rare but are rarely mined in America<\/span>\u2014will rise <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">300% to 1,000% by 2050 to meet the Paris green goals<\/span>.<\/span> If electric vehicles replace conventional cars, demand for cobalt and lithium, will rise more than <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">20-fold<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #800000;\">That <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">doesn\u2019t count<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> batteries<\/span> to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">back up<\/span> wind and solar grids.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003300;\"><strong>Last year a Dutch government-sponsored study concluded that <em>the Netherlands\u2019 green ambitions <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">alone<\/span><\/em> would consume for\u00a0Portland Saturday morning<\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Having been on the receiving end of airline ineptitude on a number of occasions, we readily acknowledge every carrier in the country has room for improvement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>However, we&#8217;ve had it up to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>here<\/em><\/span> with <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>whiny, overindulged adults<\/em><\/span> who expect <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>others<\/em><\/span> to assume responsibility for tasks <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>they themselves<\/em><\/span>\u00a0should be completing.\u00a0 Far be it from us to tell Ms. Hoyt how to raise her children, but, sorry, if <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>our kid<\/em><\/span> had health issues which required regular medication, we&#8217;d be willing to bet Hillary&#8217;s a*s (which is a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>very large<\/em><\/span> wager <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>indeed<\/em><\/span>!) <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>we&#8217;d<\/em><\/span> be on the flight <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>with them<\/em><\/span>, rather than consigning their care to the faceless representatives of a mammoth corporate bureaucracy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Since this article raises\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>so<\/em><em> many questions<\/em><\/span>, and we&#8217;ve <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>such little time<\/em><\/span>, we&#8217;ll limit ourself to three interrogatories:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>(1). Did Ms. Hoyt <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>really<\/em><\/span> expect the cabin crew to ensure her child received their medication when flight attendants aren&#8217;t even allowed to hand out ibuprofen to adults with headaches?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>(2). Did Ms. Hoyt <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>ever<\/em><\/span> bother to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>check<\/em><\/span> the status of her child&#8217;s flight, or did she just show up at the airport and wait all night waiting for it to arrive?\u00a0 Again, if we had an unaccompanied minor with a medical condition we&#8217;d at least be proactively checking for status updates on a regular basis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>(3).
