Kennedy was the last moderate Democrat our society will likely see.<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">From economic policy\u2014be it taxes, government control and regulation\u2014<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>every Democratic administration since Kennedy got oppressively worse<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">But why is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>anyone<\/em> <em>surprised<\/em><\/span>?<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008000;\">(<em>And <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">why<\/span> are\u00a0Conservatives\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">bemoaning<\/span> the fact?!?<\/em>)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>increasingly noxious worldview<\/em><\/span> that says \u201ctake more from people who earned it\u201d and forcibly redistribute it to \u201cthose who haven\u2019t\u201d <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>had to eventually lead somewhere<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Apply that same idea to policies on the judiciary, immigration, national security, and social framework values <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>and the fault lines pretty much reveal themselves<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Democrats have for decades (since JFK) <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>admired<\/em><\/span> godless socialism.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">They gift wrap it up in supposed compassionate humanism.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">But they are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>literally<\/em><em> embracing authoritarian philosophies that have extinguished millions of lives<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> They\u2019ve also <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>lied about what it all means<\/em><\/span>\u2014<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>especially during election cycles<\/em><\/span>\u2014<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>knowing<\/em><\/span> that middle of the road Americans <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>wouldn\u2019t quite be able to stomach it<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">In 2020 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Democrats can no longer lie to voters<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>The base<\/em><\/span> has moved <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>their party<\/em><\/span>, Bernie Sanders speaks openly\u2014even cavalierly\u2014to what they\u2019ve come to expect, and he is now undefeated through the first three contests.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">He has actually\u2014to date\u2014won <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>two\u00a0more<\/em><\/span>\u00a0states than he had by this point <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>in the 2016 cycle<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">And he is poised for blowout after blowout on Super Tuesday (California and Texas among them.)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">But listen carefully, Americans, conservatives, independents and Republicans should\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>welcome<\/em><\/span>\u00a0his ascendency, because <em>at the very least<\/em>, <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">it\u2019s honest<\/span><\/em>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Elections by nature <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>should<\/em><\/span> serve as referendums on ideas.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Carter and Clinton <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>pretended<\/em><\/span> to be middle of the road <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>but stacked our judiciary with radicals<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Obama <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>pretended<\/em><\/span> to be the president of the \u201cpurple states of America,\u201d but <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>he himself was a radical<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>surrounded<\/em><\/span> by a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>cabinet of radicals<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>These administrations <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>despised<\/em><\/span> the will of the American people while <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>claiming<\/em><\/span> to advance it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>In 2020, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>a Trump\/Sanders contest will make the most honest, direct, and open debate our political body has observed in many decades of what ideas actually mean<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Should<\/em><\/span><em> people <\/em><em>get to keep what they earn<\/em>?<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Or <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>should<\/em><\/span> they <em>be forced to give $7 out of every $10 they earn to a centralized \u201cKremlin\u201d that will then dole out \u201cfree benefits\u201d to the people<\/em> (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>usually<\/em><\/span> on the basis and preference of the whim of those in power)?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Does<\/span> the United States Constitution protect the right of free speech, particularly religious speech?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Do<\/span> the people of the United States truly have the protected right to defend themselves by keeping and bearing firearms?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Should<\/span> we empower the government to overtake the people\u2019s decisions and lives?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><em>Or <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">should<\/span> we empower the person to become the best that they can fully be?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>These are <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">just a handful of the contrasts that a Trump\/Sanders head-to-head will give us<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">It will <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>force<\/em><\/span> the American attention span to a place we only rediscovered in 2016.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">It will be a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>thorough debate<\/em><\/span> between a man <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>who\u2019s never held a private-sector job<\/em><\/span>, and a man <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>who\u2019s kept 104 campaign promises in his first job in politics<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">America should <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>welcome it<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>fistfight of ideas<\/em><\/span>, slugging it out <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>as though everything in the future depended on it<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Because <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>it does<\/em><\/span>!<\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s been 31 years since Reagan won the Cold War, so most people 50-and-under haven&#8217;t a clue as to what the Soviet Union and Communism is all about.\u00a0 This ties in so well with China and the coronavirus: Millennials don&#8217;t understand a lot of bad sh*t (SARS, MERS, coronavirus) comes out of Communist China, whose inhabitants eat what are to us incredibly distasteful dishes&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/23773278-0-image-a-12_1579784331717.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-78223\" style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>us<\/em><\/span>: why the heck should <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>we care<\/em><\/span> if the Dimocratic Party goes the way of the Whigs, the Federalists and the Know-Nothings?!?\u00a0 It will be replaced by a plethora of splinter, special-interest parties, putting responsible Republicans in a position to preserve the Constitution and the Founders&#8217; Republic.\u00a0 This is somehow <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>bad<\/em><\/span> for America?!?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Moving on, Jim Geraghty&#8217;s recent edition of the\u00a0<em>Morning Jolt<\/em> deserves to be presented in its entirety, painting as it does&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"article-header__title\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/the-morning-jolt\/bernie-sanderss-long-career\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Bernie Sanders\u2019s Long Career<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h1>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/the-morning-jolt\/bernie-sanderss-long-career\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>People Will Discuss \u2018Ancient History\u2019 When the Nominee Is an Ancient Candidate<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">will try to gaslight you<\/span><\/em>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">Some of the Democrats who are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>most worried<\/em><\/span> about nominating Bernie Sanders <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>right now<\/em><\/span> will bury their doubts and objections down deep <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>and insist that anyone who isn\u2019t on board is some sort of unthinking lunatic<\/em><\/span>, or that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not being<\/em><\/span> a Sanders supporter <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>must reflect a complete endorsement of everything Donald Trump has done as president<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>One of the arguments you are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>certain to hear<\/em><\/span> in defense of Sanders, when others criticize his past stances and statements, is a variation of: \u201c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Why are you bringing up all this ancient history<\/em><\/span>?\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/3qasvv.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-78194\" aboard a United Airlines flight from Frankfurt, Germany, to Washington-Dulles International Airport. The woman, identified as Dana Ghazi Mustafa of North Carolina, faces a maximum penalty of eight years in prison if convicted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>She <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>first<\/em><\/span> was found in the lavatory attempting to smoke after crew members were alerted that a smoke detector in the bathroom had been activated. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">She was escorted back to her seat without incident,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #008080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/north-carolina-woman-allegedly-assaulted-air-marshal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a<\/a>ccording to Fox News.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>After flight attendants saw her crying, Mustafa said she was flying home to see family following the death of a loved one in a drunk driving incident \u2013 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>which she later admitted was a lie<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">So the crew moved her to a more comfortable seat, which apparently was a problem as she allegedly punched the seatback television and threw a coin at the bulkhead.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Finally, she <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>again<\/em><\/span> tried to enter the restroom and was seen with a lighter in her hand. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">Flight attendants tried to stop her but she managed to get into the lavatory but could not close the door.<\/span> Two federal air marshals then jumped into action; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the woman repeatedly kicked the air marshals until she was subdued and handcuffed, seated next to the marshals for the remainder of the flight<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>The marshals found a half-empty liter of Absolut vodka in her bag<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> Mustafa said <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>she was allowed<\/em><em> to drink<\/em><\/span> her duty-free bottle of vodka <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>on a previous flight<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">Mustafa also threatened to stab the air marshal and said: &#8220;I&#8217;m going to stab everyone on the plane then kill myself.<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>I&#8217;m Palestinian<\/em><\/span>! <span style=\"color: #008080;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>That&#8217;s how we get down<\/em><\/span>,&#8221; according to court documents.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>At least she got that last part right!.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Magoo<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s Wednesday, February 26th, 2020&#8230;but before we begin, G.
