warned<\/em><\/span> against taking an anti-malaria drug hailed by\u00a0Donald Trump\u00a0as a &#8216;game changer&#8217; in the war on\u00a0coronavirus.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Sudden death<\/em><\/span> is one of the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>suspected side effects<\/em><\/span> of\u00a0hydroxychloroquine, according to the intelligence agency in a memo to its workforce posted online.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Despite<\/em><\/span> a <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">lack of medical evidence<\/span><\/em>, the President has <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>heavily promoted the drug<\/em><\/span> as a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>possible<\/em><\/span> treatment for Covid-19, which has killed 23,675 and infected\u00a0588,421 in the United States.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">But amid <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>positive noises<\/em><\/span> surrounding the drug emerging from the daily White House press briefings, Langley made <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>its<\/em><\/span> concern clear.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Hydroxychloroquine is &#8216;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not recommended<\/em><em>\u00a0to be used<\/em><\/span> by patients <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>except by medical professionals prescribing it<\/em><\/span> as part of ongoing investigation studies,&#8217; according to the advice seen by the\u00a0<em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a class=\"class broken_link\" style=\"color: #800080; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/national-security\/trump-hydroxychloroquine-coronavirus-cia\/2020\/04\/13\/54129d64-7dba-11ea-8013-1b6da0e4a2b7_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\">Washington Post<\/a><\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>advice<\/em><\/span>, posted on March 27<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff0000;\"><em>in response to CIA staff queries<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">, noted that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>possible<\/em><\/span> side effects include &#8216;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>sudden cardiac death<\/em><\/span>&#8216;<\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>So does the little blue pill.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>More importantly, note the advice was offered &#8220;in response to CIA staff queries&#8221;.\u00a0 Forgetting for the moment\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>no one<\/em><\/span>&#8230;other than those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/arizona-woman-fish-tank-cleaner-trump-democrat\" class=\"broken_link\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>idiots in Arizona<\/em><\/span><\/a>&#8230;should <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>ever<\/em><\/span> consider taking <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>any<\/em><\/span> prescription medication&#8230;let alone fish tank cleaner&#8230;without <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>first<\/em><\/span>\u00a0consulting a physician, what does it tell you about the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>lack<\/em><\/span> of intelligence at the CIA that its staff wouldn&#8217;t <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>already<\/em><\/span> understand <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>EVERY<\/em><\/span>\u00a0drug has possible side effects, often\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: China University study saying the virus likely leaked from nearby viral research labs as some tinfoil hat conspiracy theory<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Boris Johnson&#8217;s British government now has <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>official doubts<\/em><\/span> that the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>accepted conventional wisdom<\/em><\/span> that the virus s<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>pontaneously combusted from an obscure bat sold at a nearby \u201cwet market<\/em><\/span>\u201d but which is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>in fact indigenous to a region some 900 kilometers distant from Wuhan<\/em> <em>that the locals do not in fact consume as food<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">It is <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">seriously considering<\/span><\/em> the at least <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>equally likely possibility<\/em><\/span> that the Wuhan virus\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>escaped from one of the nearby viral research labs<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Britain\u2019s Cobra commission are not the only experts outside of China questioning the bat theory as a too-convenient explanation pushed by a Chinese government that to this date does not allow outside inspection of the\u00a0 labs which might show their\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-8188159\/Did-coronavirus-leak-research-lab-Wuhan-Startling-new-theory-no-longer-discounted.html\">culpability and criminal negligence<\/a>\u00a0in the global pandemic:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><em>American biosecurity expert Professor Richard Ebright, of Rutgers University&#8217;s Waksman Institute of Microbiology, New Jersey, said that while the evidence <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">suggests<\/span> Covid-19 was <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">created<\/span> in one of the Wuhan laboratories, it could <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">easily have escaped from there while it was being analysed<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>Prof Ebright said he has seen evidence that scientists at the Centre for Disease Control and the Institute of Virology <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">studied the viruses with only &#8216;level 2&#8217; security<\/span> &#8212; rather than the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">recommended level 4<\/span> &#8212; which &#8216;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">provides only minimal protections against infection of lab workers<\/span>&#8216;.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><em>He added: &#8216;Virus collection, culture, isolation, or animal infection would pose a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">substantial risk of infection of a lab worker<\/span>, and from the lab worker <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">then the public<\/span>.&#8217;<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>He concluded that the evidence left &#8216;a basis to rule out [that coronavirus is] a lab construct, but <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">no basis to rule out a lab accident<\/span>&#8216;.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">As noted, a study by the South China University of Technology concluded that COVID-19 &#8216;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>probably&#8217; originated in the Wuhan Center for Disease Control<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Curiously<\/span><\/em>, shortly after its publication, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the research paper was removed<\/em><\/span> from a social networking site for scientists and researchers.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">It is doubtful the CCP <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>approved posting of the study or sanctioned it<\/em><\/span> judging by the fact that it was <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>pulled almost immediately<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">That suggests that in the age of global social media <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>it temporarily slipped through the cracks<\/em><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>was pulled<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not<\/em><\/span> because it was a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>lie<\/em><\/span>, but because it contained <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>an embarrassing truth<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Editor&#8217;s Note<\/em><\/span>: Based upon numerous articles we&#8217;ve read and videos we&#8217;ve viewed, the science behind Professor Ebright&#8217;s conclusion COVID-19 is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not<\/em><\/span> a laboratory construct is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>far<\/em><\/span> from <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>settled<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For those interested in an under fire after Taiwan\u00a0released the contents of a December email inquiring about the person to person spread of\u00a0COVID-19, saying it was instead <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>ignored<\/em><\/span> by WHO and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>denied adequate information to fight the virus<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Taiwan is accusing WHO of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>downplaying the severity and spread of the coronavirus in an attempt to pander to China<\/em><\/span> even <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>after<\/em><\/span> Taiwan sounded the alarm <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>about at least seven cases of atypical pneumonia\u00a0that they were aware of in Wuhan where the virus originated<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>When asked about the cases by the media, Taiwan said China&#8217;s health authorities said &#8220;the cases were believed not SARS; however samples are still under examination, and cases have been isolated for treatment,&#8221; according to the contents of an email <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">sent by\u00a0Taiwan&#8217;s Center for Disease Control and Prevention to the WHO on Dec. 31<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">&#8220;I would greatly appreciate it <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>if you have relevant information to share with us<\/em><\/span>,&#8221; the email said.<\/span> Taiwan is located\u00a0about 80 miles off China&#8217;s coast but\u00a0has declared itself\u00a0an\u00a0independent nation for over 70 years. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">China, however,\u00a0has <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>refused to acknowledge Taiwan&#8217;s sovereignty<\/em><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>consistently fights to bring them back under Beijing&#8217;s control<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #008000;\">(<em>Misery just LOVES company!<\/em>)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>As a result, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>China has successfully persuaded the WHO to exclude Taiwan from the organization<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Soooo&#8230;it&#8217;s the &#8220;World Health Organization&#8221;, absent the entire &#8220;world&#8221;&#8230;along with, if the Wuhan virus is any indicator, the &#8220;health&#8221; part.\u00a0 Which makes the WHO like <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>every other arm<\/em><\/span> of the U.N.: simply another parasitic one-world-government &#8220;organization&#8221;&#8230;feeding largely off U.S. largesse.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Next up, Breeze Gould forwarded the following from <em>Real Clear style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>some<\/em><\/span> places.<\/span>\u00a0 And the body count <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>will<\/em><\/span> get much worse this week, right before Easter.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">The heroic efforts and sacrifice of many doctors, nurses, and volunteer civilians <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>are<\/em><\/span> all notable and praiseworthy.<\/span> \u00a0Millions of Americans <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>are<\/em><\/span> pulling together. \u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">We all <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>know<\/em><\/span> this.<\/span> \u00a0But do you <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>know <\/em><em>the odds<\/em><\/span> of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>any<\/em><\/span> American <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>getting<\/em><\/span> this virus?\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>One would<\/em> <em>think<\/em><\/span> that number is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>easily known or available<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0 It\u2019s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">A <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>lot of digging<\/em><\/span> into various municipal data portals reveals, based on the population tested, that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>rates can vary<\/em><\/span> from, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>at most<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>eight-tenths of a percent in New York City<\/em><\/span> to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>two-one-hundredths of a percent in Phoenix<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Did you know <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the chances of recovery<\/em><\/span> from the coronavirus are about <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>98%<\/em><\/span>\u2014<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>if<\/em><\/span>\u00a0you <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>catch it<\/em><\/span>?\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Did you know <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">there are models showing 50% of the population may have already had it, never knew they had it, and recovered<\/span><\/em>?<\/span>\u00a0 Again, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>one would<\/em> <em>think<\/em><\/span> this data would be <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>widely available and reported<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">It <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>isn\u2019t<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> What <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>is<\/em><\/span> presented widely are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>numbers and warnings that scare and frighten us<\/em><\/span>, and we are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>now being conditioned to a lot of panic and speculation<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">But part of the reason we are getting conditioned to a lot of panic is because of the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>wide range of speculation about other numbers we accept as our new fright-inducing reality<\/em><\/span>, an <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>increasingly confusing and frenzied set of numbers<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0 And the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>normalization of our panic<\/em><\/span> is having <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>dire consequences<\/em><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>augurs for even worse<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Our <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>officials and media<\/em><\/span> have warned us of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>2 million deaths in the United States<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #333399;\">Then <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>200,000 deaths<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0 Then <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>100,000 to 240,000<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #333399;\">This needs <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>to stop<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> There have been a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>total<\/em><\/span> of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>68,000 coronavirus deaths worldwide<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #333399;\">And we are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>told<\/em><\/span> we will see, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>just in America<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>three to four times that number<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Does that even pass the plausibility test<\/em><\/span>?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Is it too much to ask for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>some perspective<\/em><\/span> with numbers we <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>do know about<\/em><\/span>, numbers <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>which have never shut down our country<\/em><\/span>, much less <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>a church or synagogue<\/em><\/span>, much less <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>entire industries<\/em><\/span>; numbers <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>which have never restricted travel or put this nation into one big frenzy<\/em><\/span>?\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">In <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">any given month<\/span><\/em> in America, we lose about <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>54,000<\/em><\/span> Americans to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>heart disease<\/em><\/span>; <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>50,000<\/em><\/span> to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>cancer<\/em><\/span>;<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>14,000<\/em><\/span> to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema<\/em><\/span>; <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>12,000<\/em><\/span> to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>stroke<\/em><\/span>;<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>10,000<\/em><\/span> to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Alzheimer\u2019s<\/em><\/span>; <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>7,000<\/em><\/span> to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>diabetes<\/em><\/span>;<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>5,600<\/em><\/span> to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>drug overdoses<\/em><\/span>; <span style=\"color: #333399;\">and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>4,700<\/em><\/span> to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>influenza and pneumonia<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Since February<\/em><\/span>, in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>America<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>coronavirus<\/em><\/span>: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>9,500<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> \u00a0\u00a0Where is the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>sympathy<\/em><\/span> for the victims and families of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>those other causes of death<\/em><\/span>?\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>daily<\/em><\/span> mortality count?<\/span>\u00a0 The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>blaring<\/em><\/span> headlines?\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>upending<\/em><\/span> of the country?<\/span>\u00a0 We hear almost <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>nothing<\/em><\/span> about them.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Those deaths give us <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>over 157,000 deaths a month<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> \u00a0Given <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>all that is being done<\/em><\/span> about <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>one<\/em><\/span> cause of death, COVID-19, it turns out this is a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>very advantaged disease<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>indeed<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">And we will <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>in time<\/em><\/span> develop a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>vaccine<\/em><\/span> for it, not to mention <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>more and more good news coming in the short term<\/em><\/span> about treatments from other extant medicines <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">like hydroxychloroquine<\/span><\/em>. <span style=\"color: #008000;\">(<em>The MSM&#8217;s bloviating to the contrary notwithstanding!<\/em>)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>But there is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>more<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>The president\u2019s instincts to re-open this country as soon as possible <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>are right<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">This country is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not prepared<\/em><\/span> for a <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">worsening of all the other social harms and deaths<\/span><\/em> brought on by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>an incredibly overwrought, self-induced, hysteria and panic that doesn\u2019t parse<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0 It <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>better be<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #333399;\">But <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>remember<\/em><\/span> with all the nonprofits, volunteer, and self-help communities organized to address these problems <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>being shuttered and harmed, direly and financially<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>be prepared for massive social failure<\/em><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>more death<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>This<\/em><\/span> is what happens <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>when sanity is at discount and hysteria reigns supreme<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>This<\/em><\/span> is what happens <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>when societies get used to pandemonium<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span> As bad as the coronavirus <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>is<\/em><\/span>, and it <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>is<\/em><em> bad<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>unless<\/em><em> we arrest the frenzy and panic mongering<\/em><\/span>, we should <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>be prepared<\/em><\/span> for things <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>worse<\/em><\/span> than the virus.<\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s the juice: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>every other<\/em><\/span> government initiative is subject to a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>cost-benefit analysis<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 Why should our response to COVID-19 &#8220;crisis&#8221; be any <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>different<\/em><\/span>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Again&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a
