(1) Kizzmekia was an affirmative action hire; and\/or&#8230;far more importantly&#8230;(2) her obvious mental instability might adversely impact the quality of her work?!?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Regardless, were Kizzmekia &#8220;Courtney&#8221;, and her tweets disparaging of Blacks or some other protected class, she&#8217;d have woken up Saturday unemployed.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This is just the <a href=\"https:\/\/townhall.com\/tipsheet\/bethbaumann\/2020\/04\/18\/not-in-favor-of-lockdowns-msnbc-thinks-youre-a-racist-confederate-n2567170\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">latest iteration of the Gentle Giant myth<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/a> which provided Progressive racists the convenient cover to create\u00a0<em>Black Lives Matter<\/em>, which then gave birth to the utterly idiotic&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Hands-Up-SwaneeSm.jpg\"><img href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/download-1-1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-80019\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/download-1-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><span class=\"small_caps\">ike<\/span>\u00a0many people of faith, Virginia governor Ralph Northam spent last weekend <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>bearing witness to his convictions<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">On <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Good Friday<\/em><\/span>, he signed the Reproductive Health Protection Act (RHPA) into law, which, among other things, waived the 24-hour waiting period, pro-adoption counseling, and mandatory ultrasound that had been previously required for women seeking abortions.<\/span> On <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Holy Saturday<\/em><\/span>, Northam signed the Virginia Values Act, a bill recognizing sexual orientation and gender identity as protected categories under Virginia\u2019s anti-discrimination law. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">As has happened\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adflegal.org\/detailspages\/case-details\/state-of-washington-v.-arlene-s-flowers-inc.-and-barronelle-stutzman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\">in other states<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0with similar laws, the bill imperils the conscience rights of people of faith, as well as those who remain unconvinced that a man can become a woman just by saying so.<\/span> On <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Easter Sunday<\/em><\/span>, Northam <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>rested<\/em><\/span> from all the work that he had done.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">After signing the RHPA into law, Northam\u2019s office released a statement\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/state-watch\/492356-virginia-governor-rolls-back-abortion-restrictions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\">boasting<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0that \u201cno more will legislators in Richmond \u2014 most of whom are men \u2014 be telling women what they should and should not be doing with their bodies.\u201d<\/span> It was a strange thing for Northam to brag about, <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">considering that he would sign a law not 24 hours later requiring businesses to recognize that men who identify as women are, for all legal purposes, women<\/span><\/em>. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">If businesses in the Commonwealth of Virginia are required under threat of civil sanction to affirm that men, too, can get pregnant, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the least<\/em><\/span> that the governor could do <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>is apologize for his insinuation to the contrary<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>\u201cThe Reproductive Health Protection Act will make <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>women and families safer<\/em><\/span>,\u201d Northam continued, \u201cand I\u2019m proud to sign it into law.\u201d <span style=\"color: #333399;\">While I <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>do not doubt<\/em><\/span> that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the same Ralph Northam who defended infanticide is \u201cproud\u201d of his efforts to make it easier for women to kill their unborn children<\/em><\/span>, his statement <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>does not<\/em><\/span> address <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>whether and how<\/em><\/span> the RHPA will make \u201cfamilies safer,\u201d or <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>what \u201csafety\u201d means<\/em><\/span> in the context of a procedure that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>is necessarily unsafe for at least one of the two parties involved<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> It is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>also<\/em><\/span> left to our imaginations to adduce <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>how<\/em><\/span> the bill\u2019s\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/lis.virginia.gov\/cgi-bin\/legp604.exe?201+ful+SB733ER+pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">allowance of non-physicians<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0to perform abortions <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>will make the procedure \u201csafer\u201d for the women involved<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s the juice: If there are levels in Hell (a concept to which we&#8217;re&#8230;<em>warming<\/em>!), Ralph Northam and his fellow advocates of infanticide who&#8217;ve created and perpetuated Progressivism&#8217;s culture of death will certainly occupy a level far closer to the furnace than the likes of&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Since 1973, almost as many unborn babies have been slaughtered in the United States <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>alone<\/em><\/span> than the number of people killed in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>all of WWII<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 In roughly the same time span, Planned Parenthood has exterminated nearly 50% more innocents than the Nazis did Jews.\u00a0 Worldwide since 1980, more babies have been sacrificed on the altar of abortion than the current population of China.\u00a0 It should be noted, in a perverse irony, the ChiCom&#8217;s abhorrent &#8220;One Child&#8221; policy (one of the VERY FEW things <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/weekly-standard\/joe-biden-i-fully-understand-chinas-one-child-policy\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>Joe Biden understands<\/em><\/span><\/a>!) <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>significantly contributed<\/em><\/span> to that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>incomprehensible statistic<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Even more ironic are the racist blatherings of Kizzmekia Corbett\u00a0in the face of Blacks, despite comprising only 12.7% of the U.S. population, having undergone 30% of abortions in the U.S. since <em>Roe<\/em>.\u00a0 We can only assume Black lives <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>only matter<\/em><\/span> to woke Progressives <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>outside<\/em><\/span> the womb.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To mangle a phrase from Shakespeare&#8217;s <em>Henry V<\/em>, here is an utterly ignoble and reprehensible fellowship of death.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Next up, the <em>WSJ<\/em>&#8216;s Kim Strassel records how Pelosi &amp; Co., along with their shills in the MSM, are already&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"wsj-article-headline\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>That<\/em><\/span>\u2019s the line <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>congressional Democrats and liberal journalists<\/em><\/span> are now adopting, as they set <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>new<\/em><\/span> battle lines in the pandemic debate.<\/span> The Trump administration might have thought <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the hard call<\/em><\/span> was <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>shutting down the U.S. economy<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>The left<\/em><\/span> intends to make <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>reopening it far harder<\/em><\/span>, lacing it with political risk <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>by raising the bar for \u201csuccess\u201d to fantasy heights<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong>By <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>these<\/em><\/span> standards, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>no lockdown may end<\/em><\/span> until the Trump administration can \u201c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>guarantee\u201d a \u201csafe\u201d world<\/em><\/span> in which people return to \u201cnormal.\u201d <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The feds must stand up a testing system <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>capable of hunting down and snuffing out each new infection<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> There can be <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>no more outbreaks<\/em><\/span>, and reopening <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>cannot \u201csignificantly add\u201d to existing counts<\/em><\/span> (and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the press<\/em><\/span> reserves the authority <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>to define \u201csignificantly<\/em><\/span>.\u201d) <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The unsaid corollary is that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Mr. Trump will be held politically responsible for reopening in any way that fails to meet these baselines<\/em><\/span>\u2014on the hook for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>each subsequent death<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Talk about moving goal posts<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A month ago, the administration announced its 15-day plan to \u201cflatten the curve\u201d and \u201cslow the spread\u201d of the virus.<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Examine those phrases<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The goal of the shutdown was <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>never to eradicate the disease<\/em><\/span>\u2014an <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>impossibility absent a vaccine<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> The lockdown was designed <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>to buy the health sector time<\/em><\/span>, to make sure all the cases <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>didn\u2019t hit at once in a crush that would overwhelm hospitals<\/em><\/span>, \u00e0 la Italy.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">In <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>that<\/em><\/span> regard, the Trump administration has become <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>a victim of its own succes<\/em><em>s<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> The guidelines <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">did<\/span><\/em> flatten the curve. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">As <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>ugly<\/em><\/span> as the outbreak <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>has<\/em><\/span> been, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>even New York City and other hot spots have had enough ventilators<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Numerous<\/em><\/span> emergency field hospitals <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>ended up sitting empty<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The lockdown has been <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>so<\/em><em> effective<\/em><\/span> that it has allowed Mr. Trump\u2019s political opponents <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>to lay out a false narrative of what counts as \u201cvictory<\/em><\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>political cynicism<\/em><\/span> is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>extraordinary<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Kimberly&#8217;s describing is yet one more example of life imitating art; though in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>this<\/em><\/span> case, the question <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>isn&#8217;t<\/em><\/span>&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0Dy2fo6E_pI?start=101&amp;end=105&amp;\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\"
