It’s Monday, October 12th, 2020…but before we begin, in honor of the great Thomas Sowell, allow us to offer three brief Thoughts on the Passing Scene.<\/strong><\/p>\n

First, The Boss did us proud yesterday, as while filling out his 90-year-old mom’s mail-in-ballot, he successfully resisted the siren song of the Dark Side and dutifully observed her wishes by checking the boxes for both Biden and<\/span><\/em> Adam Schiff.\u00a0 BZ Bossman!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Which provides the perfect segue for Thought #2: During dinner Saturday night, after two of our good friends mentioned they might not bother to vote this year because, owing to the realities of life in the People’s Dimocratic Republic of Maryland, their ballots won’t make a difference, we voiced our most strenuous objection for the following reasons: (1) In our mind, as well as the minds of the Founding Fathers, voting isn’t merely a right<\/span><\/em>, it’s a sacred obligation<\/span><\/em>; (2) One NEVER knows how one’s state will go; and (3) even if Maryland, as is highly likely, goes for the Delaware Dunce, our vote will still count towards the national total, which, should Trump triumph in the Electoral College, will be the only means for Socialists to contest the results.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lastly, consider Thought #3: In 2016, almost HALF<\/span><\/em> of all registered voters DID NOT CAST A BALLOT<\/span><\/em>!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the best figures we can access indicate, out of 231,556,622 eligible voters in 2016:<\/strong><\/p>\n

25.6% voted for Clinton<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

25.5% voted for Trump<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

1.7% voted for Johnson<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

46.9% didn’t vote at all<\/span>!!!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

If a mere 3%<\/span><\/em> of the electorate who didn’t vote<\/span><\/em> in 2016 turned out for Trump<\/span><\/em> on November 3rd, not only would The Donald once again<\/span> win the Electoral College<\/span><\/em>, he’s sweep the popular vote as well<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
