It’s Friday, November 6th, 2020…but before we begin, allow us to offer, in honor of the great Thomas Sowell, a few random thoughts on the passing scene.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Martha McSally<\/span><\/em>: Why do Republicans continue to run proven\u00a0losers<\/span><\/em>?!? (Trust us, we could have added several more<\/span><\/em> question and exclamation marks!!!)\u00a0 Forgetting for the moment she’s an A-10 driver who constantly misrepresents herself as a fighter jock, as we wondered back when she was appointed to fill the remainder of John McCain’s term after the initial replacement, Jon Kyl, resigned<\/em><\/span><\/a>…<\/strong><\/p>\n

…having just lost to a bisexual former member of the Green Party after running what was at best<\/span><\/em>\u00a0a\u00a0lackluster campaign<\/em><\/a><\/span>, why on earth would you appoint a candidate with a history<\/span><\/em> of losing to a Senate seat she\u2019ll likely give up in the next election?\u00a0 Was there no one<\/span><\/em>…anyone<\/span><\/em>…male or female, gay or straight, Black, White, Brown, Yellow or Red, with the solid Conservative record and charisma to win reelection<\/span><\/em>?!?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Donald Trump<\/span><\/em>: We’ve never viewed The Donald as anything more than a bulwark against what The Left had to offer.\u00a0 Note: We could<\/span><\/em> have said The Far<\/span><\/em> Left, but the two are indistinguishable, as the existence of moderate Dimocrats is a myth.\u00a0 They moderate only when necessary to ensure they can continue to suck off the public teat.\u00a0 But we digress.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After all, Trump has always been a two-edged sword: a continual liability<\/span><\/em> (see “Tweets, The Donald<\/em>“) while at same time, particularly if you consider the first Supreme Court with a Constitutionalist majority in living memory of value, an incredible asset<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0 Still, we find ourselves wishing, as the Washington Examiner<\/em>‘s Tim Carney opines<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/a>, Trump could<\/span><\/em>, at least on important<\/span><\/em> occasions, summon his inner Pence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, English being a second language to the man, one might as well ask him to outrun Usain Bolt in the 100.\u00a0 Though we’ve no doubt<\/span><\/em>, if you asked<\/span><\/em> him, he’d assure<\/span><\/em> you he could<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Tucker Carlson<\/span><\/em>: We know there’s a lot going on, but are we the only one<\/span><\/em> wondering what happened to those damning documents he received about Hunter?\u00a0 Boys and girls, can you say…<\/strong><\/p>\n
