Andrew Cuomo imposed strict lockdown policies\u2014many still in place\u2014and became the media\u2019s golden boy. <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u201cThe governor of New York\u2019s morning news conferences have become part of the country\u2019s new daily rhythm,\u201d the Washington Post\u2019s Style section\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a class=\"icon none broken_link\" style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/lifestyle\/style\/andrew-cuomo-during-the-covid-19-crisis-is-the-same-as-ever-with-one-big-difference-people-like-him\/2020\/03\/28\/11a89a0a-6fd7-11ea-b148-e4ce3fbd85b5_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gushed<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0in March 2020.<\/span> \u201cHe\u2019s the strongman who can admit he\u2019s wrong. <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">He speaks fluently about the facts.<\/span> He worries about his mother, and by extension, yours, too.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Gov. Ron DeSantis took a different approach and was pilloried.<\/span> He was among the first to lift his state lockdown, adopting something resembling Sweden\u2019s strategy of protecting the vulnerable while keeping businesses and schools open. <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u201cFlorida Man Leads His State to the Morgue,\u201d read a June headline in the New Republic.<\/span> \u201cRon DeSantis is the latest in a long line of Republicans who made the state a plutocratic dystopia. <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Now he\u2019s letting its residents die to save the plutocrats.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>A year after the virus hit the U.S., Mr. Cuomo\u2019s luster has faded, and Mr. DeSantis can claim vindication. <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">The Sunshine State appears to have weathered the pandemic better than others like New York and California, which stayed locked down harder and longer<\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>This despite Florida having a significantly older and more-at-risk population than either New York or California.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Since we&#8217;re on the subject of despicable Dimocrats, courtesy of <em>American Thinker<\/em> via James Nichols, Patricia McCarthy suggests &#8220;Dr.&#8221;&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanthinker.com\/blog\/2021\/03\/jill_biden_the_meghan_markle_in_the_wh_is_egregiously_guilty_of_elder_abuse.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600; color: #0000ff;\"><em>throes of dementia<\/em><\/span>;<\/a>\u00a0it was <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>impossible<\/em><\/span> to miss the signs.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong>But in the end, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>no person is more reprehensible than Jill Biden<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\">From the moment Joe decided to throw his hat in the ring, she <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>should<\/em><\/span> have put a stop to it.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">She<\/span><\/em> of all people <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">knows<\/span><\/em> that the bulk of her family\u2019s wealth is ill-gotten, via massive corruption and selling out to China, Ukraine and MNBA.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">She knows exactly<\/span><\/em> how\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.americanthinker.com\/blog\/2021\/02\/apparently_hunter_bidens_life_was_even_more_sordid_than_we_knew.html\">depraved Hunter Biden is<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/span>; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">she <em>kn<\/em><em>ows all about<\/em><\/span> his many perversions, how many girls and women he has used and abused, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>some<\/em><\/span> of them\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.barnhardt.biz\/2020\/10\/24\/incestuous-pedophilia-runs-in-families-and-it-looks-like-hunter-biden-learned-his-perversion-from-creepy-joe-biden\/\">within her family<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0While much of it has come to light, soon it will <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">all<\/span><\/em> become common knowledge.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\">\u00a0Still, she thought Joe should be pushed into the campaign, certain that our wholly corrupt media would cover for both Joe and Hunter &#8212; and indeed they did and continue to do.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0But <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">that won\u2019t last<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">At this moment in time, Jill should be a bit nervous at how quickly so many Democrats are turning against the execrable Andrew Cuomo, the\u00a0Demon Barber of Fleet Street, for good reasons.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0All those who spent a year singing his praises were <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">utter fools<\/span><\/em> because <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">who and what Cuomo is has been obvious for simply ages<\/span><\/em> just as <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">who and what Joe Biden is has been evident for over forty years<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\">He was <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">never<\/span><\/em> an honest, intelligent <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">nor<\/span><\/em> a good man, <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">never<\/span><\/em>.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0And now, thanks to Jill\u2019s Meghan Markle-like wanna-be-ism, <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">America is being ruined<\/span><\/em>, executive order by executive order, and a horde of Democrats in Congress who have no spine nor a shred of real love of the country that gave them the privileges they now enjoy are too scared of Pelosi and Schumer to object.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">If there are traits that <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">characterize powerful Democrats<\/span><\/em>, it is <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">gross ingratitude coupled with arrogance<\/span><\/em>;\u00a0there is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>no more serious character flaw than ingratitude<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0Coupled with a lust for power over others, it is <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ruinous<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\">Those who are responsible for making Biden the 2020 candidate and for rigging the election in the numerous ways they did <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">should<\/span><\/em> have stopped and thought a bit about the consequences of their plans.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0They <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>should<\/em><\/span> have said <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">no<\/span><\/em>.<\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>But they <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">didn&#8217;t<\/span><\/em>&#8230;they <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">didn&#8217;t<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0 And given the chance in 2024 to elect Kommielaa for a full term, they&#8217;ll happily rinse and repeat.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Next, we offer seven erudite items carefully selected for the inquiring mind:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>(1).
