“…In total, Bhattacharya, Adams and the other dean debated\u00a0back and forth\u00a0on the semantics of the term for just over five minutes during the event.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Later that day, assistant urology professor Nora Kern, who helped organize the panel and was in attendance, filed a \u201cProfessionalism Concern Card\u201d against Bhattacharya, saying he \u201casked a series of questions that were quite antagonistic.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe pressed on and stated one faculty member was being contradictory. His level of frustration\/anger seemed to escalate until another faculty member defused the situation by calling on another student for questions.<\/span> I am shocked<\/span><\/em> that a med student<\/span><\/em> would show so little respect toward faculty members<\/em><\/span>. It worries me how he will do on wards,\u201d Kern wrote, court records show<\/span><\/strong><\/span>…”<\/p>\n

Nora Kern’s “shock” that a mere med student<\/span><\/em> would dare<\/span><\/em> debate a faculty member reminds us of\u00a0Lieawatha’s unrighteous indignation over Amazon questioning HER veracity<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/a>…<\/strong><\/p>\n
