We\u00a0<em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">LOVE<\/span><\/em> this lady:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vSCOk6wBrRw\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>As the gentleman who tweeted the video observed, this <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>should<\/em><\/span> be <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>every parent in America<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 And to every\u00a0elected official, bureaucrat and health apparatchik at every level of government who continue to ignore\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>real<\/em><\/span> science which <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">bolsters<\/span><\/em> this mother&#8217;s demand&#8230;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LLujpdPElPc?start=6&amp;end=8&amp;\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>#2. Though supposedly <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>verified by four separate sources<\/em><\/span>, we may <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>never know<\/em><\/span> whether Gavin Newsom <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>truly was<\/em><\/span> so worried about opposition to his unscientific and unnecessary lockdown measures he ordered a\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/california-national-guard-jet-march-2020-domestic-mission\" class=\"broken_link\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>California Air National Guard F-15C on alert in March of 2020 for a &#8220;possible domestic mission<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/a><strong>&#8220;, raising concerns\u00a0<\/strong><strong>among Guard members the jet\u00a0could be used to illegally disperse any massed protestors by buzzing the crowds.\u00a0 We only hope and pray the pilot responded&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/5744fg.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-92914\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/5744fg.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/5744fg.jpeg 420w, https:\/\/www.thedailygouge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/5744fg-300x169.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>#3. As Dennis Prager headlined in a recent column, <a href=\"https:\/\/dennisprager.com\/column\/whites-arent-hated-for-slavery-but-for-making-america-and-the-west\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>Whites aren&#8217;t hated for slavery as much as for founding both America AND Western civilization<\/em><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 Thus<\/strong><strong>, despite slavery having existed, indeed, having <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>flourished<\/em><\/span> for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>most of human history<\/em><\/span>&#8230;until of course William Wilberforce, a WHITE man, pioneered the movement to abolish it&#8230;our children are taught the transatlantic trade in Black Africans was practically the only form of &#8220;the peculiar institution&#8221; ever to have existed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>At the same time, there&#8217;s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>no blame<\/em><\/span> afforded the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>BLACK West Africans<\/em><em> who sold their fellow BLACKS from different tribes into bondage<\/em><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>any credit<\/em><\/span> given the <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">over 350,000 WHITE Union soldiers<\/span><\/em> who died to set them free, and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>little if any outcry<\/em><\/span> against the largely Asian and Arab individuals who <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>still practice<\/em><\/span> involuntary servitude <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>to this day<\/em><\/span>&#8230;perhaps because those enslaved <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>aren&#8217;t exclusively Black<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s the juice: If one suggests\u00a0<em>The War Between the States<\/em> was NOT fought primarily over states&#8217; rights but rather <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>to end slavery<\/em><\/span>, then <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>one is forced to concede<\/em><\/span>\u00a0WHITE Northerners died in droves NOT to preserve the Union,\u00a0 but to free BLACK victims of chattel slavery.\u00a0 Soooo&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/89qh2q7klFg?start=32&amp;end=36&amp;\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>#4. Americans know from their own illustrious history\u2014hinges on only a few factors.<\/span> Its prosperity, freedom, and stability depend on its constitutional and political stability. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">A secure currency and financial order are also essential, as is a strong military.<\/span> Perhaps most important, however, is a first-rate, inductive educational system. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">Of course, nothing is possible without general social calm, often dependent on a reverence for the past, along with present secure borders.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The ability to produce or easily acquire food, fuel, and key natural resources ensures a nation\u2019s independence and autonomy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Unfortunately in the last few months all of those centuries-old reasons to be confident in American strength and resiliency have now been put into doubt.\u00a0<\/span>The challenge is not just enemies abroad such as China, Russia, North Korea, or Iran. <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Instead, the greater problem lies within us<\/em><\/span>\u2014as we erode the inherited and acquired strengths that made us singular, both materially and spiritually.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>We are now witnessing a concentrated effort to alter the constitutional order and centuries of custom and tradition. <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Only that way<\/span><\/em>, the Left believes, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>can it retain its transient power given the unpopularity of most of its current agenda<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Adam Smith said of successful societies that they have a lot of \u201cruin\u201d in them. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">He meant that a dissolute, leisured, and ahistorical generation <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">has to waste a lot of its generous inherited wealth before it runs out<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>We are <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">learning<\/span><\/em> how much will soon be left of what our ancestors bequeathed. <span style=\"color: #333399;\">And the rest of the world is watching\u2014some with glee, others with horror.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>And <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">retaining power<\/span><\/em> is what this IS\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>all about<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Which is why it&#8217;s so important to observe, as Jim Geraghty does at <em>Best of the Web<\/em>, the impact of&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a in the Derek Chauvin trial<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0Columbus police shot and killed a sixteen-year-old girl. <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Her name was Ma\u2019Khia Bryant.<\/span> She should <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>be alive<\/em><\/span> right now.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Valerie Jarrett, one of the most powerful women in the federal government for about eight years, declared, \u201c<em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/valeriejarrett\/status\/1384888056621174786?s=21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Black teenage girl named Ma\u2019Khia Bryant was killed because a police officer immediately decided to shoot her multiple times in order to break up a knife fight<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Demand accountability<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Fight for justice.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Robert Reich, former secretary of Labor and current UC Berkeley professor, added: \u201c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RBReich\/status\/1384912090381660167\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Just yesterday, shortly before the guilty verdict was announced, police killed 16-year-old Ma\u2019Khia Bryant<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/span>.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Yet <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>another<\/em><\/span> young life <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>stolen<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> In what world is this public safety?\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">The ACLU of Ohio declared: \u201c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/acluohio\/status\/1384678150622388226?s=21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The systems that allowed George Floyd to be murdered remain FULLY intact<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0Moments after we celebrated a win for police accountability in Minneapolis, news broke that <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Columbus Police murdered a 15 year old Black girl<\/span><\/em>.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">There is no indication that any of these people\u00a0<em>care<\/em>\u00a0that Ma\u2019Khia Bryant was about to stab another teenage girl \u2014 as seen in the\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/abc7.com\/columbus-ohio-police-shooting-body-cam-footage-of-makhia-bryant-16-year-old-killed-in-news\/10536792\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">police body-cam footage<\/a><\/em><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/abc6onyourside.com\/news\/local\/security-camera-columbus-police-shooting-makhia-bryant-4-22-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">separate security-camera footage<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0As a <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">neighbor who witnessed the incident<\/span><\/em> described it, \u201cUnfortunately, the cop had only seconds to respond. <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Once I saw the body cam video<\/em><\/span>, I realized <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>the young lady had a knife<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> It <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>could<\/em><\/span> have been <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>worse<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #800000;\">It <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>could<\/em><\/span> have been <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>two people dead if he didn\u2019t respond as fast as he did<\/em><\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Notice that the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>knee-jerk, uncorrected, and un-retracted denunciations<\/em><\/span> of the Columbus Police above are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not<\/em><\/span> from random anonymous lunatics on Twitter. <span style=\"color: #800000;\">This is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>not<\/em><\/span> nut-picking.<\/span> This is a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>U.S. senator<\/em><\/span>, a former <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>top adviser to the president<\/em><\/span>, a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>fairly widely read columnist<\/em><\/span> of the left, and <span
