It’s Wednesday, October 27th, 2021…but before we begin, a little kerfuffle in the Sunshine State piqued our interest, so we thought we’d share it.\u00a0 As the story goes, at least according to FOX<\/em>…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Florida’s surgeon general told to leave meeting after refusing to wear a mask<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n

Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo was meeting with state Sen. Tina Polsky, who has breast cancer<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Florida’s top health official was asked to leave a meeting after refusing to wear a\u00a0mask\u00a0at the office of a state senator who told him she had a serious medical condition, officials have confirmed.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

…<\/span>[Tina] Polsky told The Associated Press about the tense exchange with state Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo that was first reported by the news site Florida Politics.<\/span> She said Ladapo and two aides were offered<\/span><\/em> masks and asked<\/em><\/span> to wear them when they arrived for the Wednesday meeting. She did not tell him<\/em><\/span> she had breast cancer but said she had a serious condition.<\/span> (As Polsky’s a Dimocrat, that hardly narrowed the issue down!<\/em>)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Yeah, the same a*sclowns who tell us the vaccinated still need to wear masks!<\/em>)<\/span> says cancer patients are at a higher risk<\/em><\/span>\u00a0(Uh,…how much<\/span> higher?!?<\/em>)<\/span> to get severely ill from COVID-19 and may not build the same immunity to\u00a0vaccines.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ladapo had asked to meet her in Tallahassee as he seeks confirmation in the Senate after being named to the post by Gov.\u00a0Ron DeSantis\u00a0last month.<\/span>\u00a0“It was so shocking<\/em><\/span> to me that he treated me in this manner<\/em><\/span>,” Polsky said. “If he is a surgeon general for the next several years, I am really concerned<\/em><\/span> about a future public health emergency and not being able to rely on him for necessary guidance and proper scientific leadership<\/em><\/span>.” (You know,…like we can rely Dr. Faux Chi, the NIH and the CDC!!!<\/em>)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ladapo offered to go outside<\/em><\/span>, but the senator said she did not want to<\/em> sit<\/em><\/span> on the metal picnic tables<\/em><\/span> on a warm day<\/em><\/span> when her office was nice and spacious<\/em><\/span>. She said she asked whether there was a reason why he couldn’t wear a mask, but he wouldn’t answer<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Democrats<\/em><\/span> have opposed<\/em><\/span> the appointment of Ladapo, criticizing him for comments and actions related to the pandemic.<\/strong>“<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Here’s the juice: When first we read this, our Spidey sense immediately<\/em><\/span> started tingling.\u00a0 Were we a prosecutor going after Tina Polsky for character assassination, we’d enter the following into the record:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exhibit “A”<\/span>: We noted\u00a0this article from Florida Politics<\/em><\/span><\/a> offered quotations markedly different from those contained in the FOX<\/em> account, including this particularly important citation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Polsky said he<\/em> offered to go outside when she asked him to put the mask on<\/em><\/span>, but she declined<\/em><\/span>. \u201cI don\u2019t want to go outside<\/em><\/span>,\u201d Polsky said she told Ladapo after he made the offer.<\/span> \u201cI<\/em><\/span> want you<\/em><\/span> to sit in my<\/em><\/span> office and talk to you.\u201d<\/strong><\/span>“<\/p>\n

No mention of Polsky having an aversion to hot metal picnic tables, which makes sense given the daytime highs in Tallahassee last week…<\/strong><\/p>\n

…weren’t hot enough to turn metal benches…if, in fact, that’s what Ladapo was somehow going to force Polsky to sit on…into branding irons.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exhibit “B”<\/span>: Polsky KNEW Lapado to be of a mind with Ron DeSantis regarding the ineffectiveness and counterproductive nature of mask mandates.\u00a0 Thus this entire kerfuffle was purely political, with Polsky using her Stage 1 status as a prop to embarrass and\/or hurt Ron DeSantis politically<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exhibit “C”<\/span>: Polsky had yet to even begin treatment for her cancer, so she was neither in extremis<\/em><\/span><\/a>\u00a0nor was her immune system at all compromised.\u00a0 Based on the Florida Politics<\/em> story, Polsky was concerned not<\/em><\/span> over the seriousness of her illness, but that a positive COVID test might delay her treatment a week, which, with Stage 1 cancer, was hardly life-threatening.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And even if it were, the fact Tina was photographed earlier the <\/em>same day<\/em><\/span> sans mask…<\/strong><\/p>\n

…confirms Polsky is political poltroon of the basest variety.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking of poltroons of the basest variety, the Vaccinator-in-Chief was recently recorded circumventing every one of his own mandated COVID requirements by coughing, maskless, into his hand, then pressing the flesh…and who knows what else…with anyone in the crowd desperate enough to want to meet him:<\/strong><\/p>\n
