#ff9900;\"><strong><span class=\"small_caps\">t<\/span>\u00a0is a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>glorious day<\/em><\/span> in America: President Joe Biden has suffered an <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>ignominious defeat<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">In the near term, it is important to defeat President Biden because he is Biden.<\/span> In the long term, it is important to defeat President Biden because he is president.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Biden had hoped to get his big spending bills through Congress before doodling off to Rome for the G-20 meeting and then on to Glasgow for the big UN climate conference.<\/span> Congress has proved admirably disagreeable, at least for the moment.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Like so many presidents before him, Biden conflates the prospects of the nation and its system of government with the prospects of his political agenda.<\/span> Speaking in Connecticut a couple of weeks ago, he said it was necessary for Congress to act on his agenda in order that he might show the Russian and Chinese strongmen, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, that democracies can get things done. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">But Congress has just proved that it can get important things done, and one of those important things is telling the president: \u201cNo.\u201d<\/span> Or, \u201cNo, not quite,\u201d or \u201cNo, not now.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>It has happened to better men than Joe Biden. <span style=\"color: #008000;\">(<em>Which isn&#8217;t saying much!<\/em>)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>In the days before Congress\u2019s self-respect was eclipsed by its self-importance, George Washington sent the Senate a note saying that he would be at the chamber \u201cat half-past eleven\u00a0<u>tomorrow<\/u>,\u201d with tomorrow underlined for emphasis, to discuss a certain Indian treaty. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">President Washington did indeed show up, and the Senate told him \u2014 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>wait<\/em><\/span>.<\/span> The Senate was not ready to consider the treaty and referred it to committee. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">President Washington, the senators said with all due respect, could come back when they were ready.<\/span>\u00a0<em>Don\u2019t call us, we\u2019ll call you<\/em>. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Washington <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>never did return<\/em><\/span>, instead conducting his business with Congress <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>in writing<\/em><\/span> from that point forward, as his successors generally have.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>It was a little thing, but the senators <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>knew what they were doing<\/em><\/span>: Washington <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>hated<\/em><\/span> to be kept waiting \u2014 his relationship with Alexander Hamilton had been severely strained by the younger man\u2019s once having failed to drop everything and attend to him immediately \u2014 and the Senate wanted to let Washington know that he was not a species of king, that Congress and the president were equals at least, and that the republican spirit of the young nation would be ill-served by having the president summon and command the Senate.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Biden is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>no George Washington<\/em><\/span>, to say the least<\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hells bells, he&#8217;s not even Jimmy Carter.\u00a0 But his #2 (in this case, a completely appropriate description) is even worse, as\u00a0<em>NRO<\/em>&#8216;s Kyle Smith concludes in his account of&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"article-header__title\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/magazine\/2021\/11\/15\/cackling-kamala\/#slide-1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cackling Democrats who <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>demanded<\/em><\/span> a woman of color on the 2020 presidential ticket are asking themselves.<\/span> Who would have guessed that, as a moss-brained 78-year-old president stumbles around aimlessly through half a dozen crises of his own making, the Halloween screams in the Democratic Party are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>mostly about the president\u2019s heir apparent<\/em><\/span>?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Kamala Harris is a heartbeat away from becoming the first woman president, the first Asian president, the first woman-of-color president.<\/span> Big wins all around, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>right<\/em><\/span>? <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">So <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>why<\/em><\/span> are the Democrats <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>so nervous<\/em><\/span>?<\/span> They appear to be on the verge of calling in the Henry Wallace treatment and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>dumping Harris<\/em><\/span> before Joe Biden runs for president again, this time with the election weeks before his 82nd birthday, in 2024. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u201cPeople think she\u2019s f***ing up, maybe she shouldn\u2019t be the heir apparent,\u201d one Democratic operative told\u00a0<em>Axios<\/em>.<\/span> White House aides use earthy language like \u201csh**show\u201d to describe Harris\u2019s \u201cpoorly managed\u201d office. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">It\u2019s \u201can abusive environment,\u201d a staffer \u201cwith direct knowledge\u201d told\u00a0<em>Politico<\/em>, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated.<\/span> It\u2019s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like sh**.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">What if Biden should decline to run for reelection as an octogenarian?<\/span> Harris, as his lady in waiting, would almost <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>have to be<\/em><\/span> the party\u2019s designated successor <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">because<\/span><\/em> she is black and female. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">To replace her, according to the party\u2019s prevailing thought codes and its media enablers, would be racist and sexist.<\/span> Yet the prospect of riding into battle behind Kamala Harris\u2019s generalship has every Dem in D.C. reaching for the Maalox, if not the Ativan or <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>maybe the hemlock<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Team Kamala thinks Biden <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>doesn\u2019t want competition<\/em><\/span> from his No. 2.<\/span> So Joe Biden is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>setting her up to fail<\/em><\/span>? <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>If so<\/em><\/span>, that would appear to be Biden\u2019s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>one unambiguous success<\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Since we&#8217;re on the noopener\">changed<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/span>\u00a0to read, &#8220;Sweet revenge: Atlanta knocks off Los Angeles Dodgers to advance to World Series.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Every reference<\/span><\/em> to the &#8220;Braves&#8221; was removed from the piece.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>The stealth-editing similarly occurred with an Oct. 18 piece, originally titled, &#8220;Mighty Dodgers are reeling, frustrated after two walk-off NLCS wins for the Braves,&#8221;\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: style=\"color: #ff0000;\">No editor&#8217;s note was added acknowledging the changes<\/span><\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which begs the question what kind of stunted, tortured lives such people live.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Moving on, we present for your perusal a quintet of items certain to pique the interest of inquiring Conservative minds:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>(1). What&#8217;s the point of having a global climate summit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2021\/oct\/27\/chinese-russian-leaders-snub-cop26-un-climate-summ\/\" class=\"broken_link\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">when the dictator of the biggest greenhouse gas emitter on the planet won&#8217;t be in attendance, and the ruler of Russia, whose economy would collapse if the world stopped buying and burning its fossil fuels, also is a no-show<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 46*, on the other hand, said he&#8217;d be there\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u201cwith bells on.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>(2). <em>FOX<\/em> reports Marlys Davidson, the president of the Los Alamitos, CA\u00a0school board who apologized earlier this week for saying &#8220;F*ck you!&#8221; to a parent who was speaking out against\u00a0mask\u00a0mandates\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/california-school-board-f-bomb-parent-hot-mic-los-alamitos-video\" class=\"broken_link\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">was apparently caught on hot mic a second time during the same meeting<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/y8eexzh8cgI?start=0&amp;end=10&amp;1\" width=\"420\" height=\"235\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Were Mr. Davidson a Republican, there&#8217;s no doubt she&#8217;d have already been hounded out of office, and deservedly so.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>(3). A Virginia mom addressing a Loudoun County school\u00a0board meeting earlier this month revealed she&#8217;d pulled her children from the public school system <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/loudoun-county-mom-6-year-old-born-evil-because-white\" class=\"broken_link\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><em>after her 6-year-old asked her if she was &#8220;born evil&#8221; because she\u2019s white<\/em><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 The concerned parent went on to chronicle the board&#8217;s many missteps, including but not limited to: (i) keeping\u00a0the schools closed for a year-and-a-half, despite the science indicating it was safe for kids to return; (ii) covering up a rape while transferring the rapist to another school where he could rape again; and, (iii) arresting, humiliating and falsely accusing those who oppose them of being domestic terrorists.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>(4).\u00a0<em>The Epoch Times<\/em>\u00a0features an\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/mkt_breakingnews\/fda-adviser-explains-why-he-abstained-from-vote-on-pfizers-covid-19-vaccine-for-young-children_4074913.html?utm_source=newsnoe&amp;utm_medium=email2&amp;utm_campaign=breaking-2021-10-29-1&amp;mktids=6d1ad899bc3ad09f3a4fc669cadaac2a&amp;est=7ywtRxq6z8ZzEh11G5yPkgbiNhb3NPV%2BXsNOVY64P16o8wzpgA7n5DcsvE9Xa5BRWA%3D%3D\"><span Critical Race Theory<\/a><\/em><\/span>,&#8221;\u00a0hosted by The Root.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">&#8220;Like, the thing I want to say to you is we got to take these motherf&#8212;kers out.<\/span> But, like, we can&#8217;t say that, right? <span style=\"color: #008080;\">We can&#8217;t say, like, I don&#8217;t believe in a project of violence.<\/span> I truly don&#8217;t,&#8221; Cooper said.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">Cooper also said that she believes that &#8220;White folks&#8221; are not &#8220;eternal.&#8221;<\/span> &#8220;But I do fundamentally believe that things that have a beginning have an ending. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">All things that begin end.<\/span> White folks are not infinite and eternal, right?&#8221; Cooper said. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">&#8220;They ain&#8217;t going to go on for infinity and infinity.<\/span> And that&#8217;s super important to remember that white colonialism and imperialism has a beginning. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">And in my way of thinking about the world, that means it has an end.&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>She added that &#8220;Whiteness is going to have an end date, because despite what White people think of themselves, they do not defy the laws of eternity.&#8221; <span style=\"color: #008080;\">&#8220;But Whiteness is largely an, you know, an inconvenient interruption,&#8221; Cooper said.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong>In April 2020, Cooper\u00a0made headlines\u00a0for blaming former President Donald Trump and the people who supported him for the impacts of coronavirus. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">&#8220;F&#8212; each and every Trump supporter.<\/span> You <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">absolutely<\/span><\/em> did this. <span style=\"color: #008080;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>You<\/em><\/span> are to blame,&#8221; she tweeted.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>She later doubled down and said that Rutgers University would not fire her because of her tenured status. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">&#8220;I said what I meant.<\/span> And I curse cuz I&#8217;m grown,&#8221; Cooper wrote in a tweet thread. <span style=\"color: #008080;\">&#8220;I have tenure.<\/span> Rutgers won&#8217;t be firing me for tweets.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proving
