“We are intent on not letting Omicron disrupt work and school for the vaccinated. You’ve done the right thing, and we will get through this.<\/span> For the un<\/span><\/em>vaccinated, you’re<\/span><\/em> looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span>“<\/p>\n

REALLY<\/span><\/em>?!?\u00a0 First, let the complete text of the comment sink in:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Biden Won\u2019t Stand Up to China or Russia, Only to America<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/h1>\n

The Summit for Democracy shows how much Biden and Kamala hate the USA<\/span><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/h3>\n

“Biden convened his Summit for Democracy “to renew democracy at home and confront autocracies abroad\u201d. But in the speeches by Biden and Kamala Harris, neither could think of a single foreign autocrat or enemy they wanted to confront.<\/span> Instead they bashed America.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

While China and Russia waged a concerted propaganda campaign against the summit, they need not have worried.<\/span> Not only did Biden and Kamala refrain from slighting Putin or Xi, but when the Taiwanese delegate displayed a map in which Taiwan was marked in a different color, her feed was cut off and an apologetic message was displayed disavowing Taiwan\u2019s existence<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>“Any opinions expressed by individuals on this panel are those of the individual, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States government,” the democracy summit clarified.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The censorship occurred during a session on “countering digital authoritarianism<\/span><\/em>” to helpfully remind everyone that the Biden administration and its Big Tech allies are digital authoritarians.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

…<\/span>The Zoom Democracy Summit wasn\u2019t actually about democracies.<\/span> The Biden administration didn\u2019t reach out to the leaders of some democracies while inviting brutal thugs like Pakistan\u2019s Khan. Khan, fresh from praising the Taliban takeover, was persuaded by his Chinese allies not to call in.<\/span> Taiwan, which was allowed to attend, was not allowed to even imply that it was a separate nation from Communist China despite the fact that its independence is democratic.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Taiwan\u2019s leaders are chosen in free elections.<\/span> China\u2019s leaders are Communist apparatchiks. When a democracy summit censors democracies when they make this point, then what\u2019s it for?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Biden used the Summit for Democracy to pitch his Build Back Better pork sandwich. Foreign leaders and diplomats must have been confused to hear Biden falsely talk up BBB as \u201can extraordinary investment in our people and our workers\u201d as if he were addressing Ohio Dems.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span>Confronted with an international forum, Biden and Kamala could think of nothing else than to spout generalities written by their overpaid speechwriters before pivoting to a pitch for their partisan pork along with some of the same old attacks on their Republican political opponents.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

There could hardly have been a clearer message to world leaders that the Biden administration doesn\u2019t have<\/em><\/span> a foreign policy, doesn\u2019t want a foreign policy, and couldn\u2019t care less about the world unless there\u2019s a clause ensuring that 10% of the world will be held in trust for the big guy.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>The only enemies that Biden and his people can conceive of use an elephant as their symbol and pledge allegiance to the United States, instead of taking a knee at the anthem.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Russia and China weren\u2019t worried<\/span><\/em> before the summit.<\/span> They\u2019re worried even less<\/span><\/em> now<\/strong><\/span>…”<\/p>\n

And if Russia and China<\/em><\/span> are even less worried than before, 46* and Kommielaa<\/span><\/em> care even less<\/em><\/span> about you<\/em><\/span>\u00a0than they ever have…assuming that’s even possible<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But nothing<\/em><\/span> is less, as NRO<\/em>‘s David Harsanyi relates, than…<\/strong><\/p>\n
