First up, as CNSNews reports, just when you thought this farcical excuse for an Administration couldn’t do any more to threaten the homeland…

“The United States has “a long tradition of welcoming refugees,” and it expects to welcome thousands more of them from Syria in 2015 and 2016, despite concerns about foreign fighters, the State Department said.
“The United States has admitted 524 Syrians since 2011. We’re likely to admit 1,000 to 2,000 Syrian refugees for permanent resettlement in Fiscal Year 2015 and a somewhat higher number, though still in the low thousands, in Fiscal Year 2016,” spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters on Friday.
But at a hearing of the House Homeland Security Committee last week, Chairman Mike McCaul (R-Texas) said it would be a “huge mistake” to bring refugees from Syria and Turkey into the United States where they “could potentially be radicalized.”Psaki told reporters on Friday that national security “is absolutely a priority” in the decision to admit refugees…”
Which begs a question we’ve asked before, and for which PJMedia‘s Roger Simon offers a different answer:

“We have to make hard choices among many competing priorities and we must always resist the overreach that comes when we make decisions based upon fear.”
Short version: He’s not spending real money on any of this. Get over it.
There is an important difference between left-wing realpolitik and the conservative realpolitik normally associated with Henry Kissinger and Brent Scowcroft. The conservatives’ version was about making choices among competing uses of American military resources abroad. Left-wing realpolitik has no serious interest in the world beyond America’s borders. (Unless it involves opposing Israel.)
The only realism the left admits to is what it sees as a U.S. beset—forever—by poverty, economic injustice and “unmet needs.” Thus Mr. Obama produces a $3.99 trillion budget to end “mindless austerity.” The world beyond this is a footnote.
We’d suggest repeating to yourself “less than 2 more years…less than 2 more years”; unfortunately, though Rome wasn’t built in a day, it fell practically overnight.

…Al-Khaibary’s lecture on astronomy took place in late January, during a government-sponsored lecture in the United Arab Emirates, according to sources provided by FDD. He has given similar lectures sponsored by the Saudi government.
In addition to promoting the notion that the Earth is stationary in space, al-Khaibary’s mentor cleric Fawzan has claimed that the Islamic State (IS) terror group is a creation of “Zionists, crusaders, and Safavids,” according to Weinberg. “That’s the sort of message that Saudi religious officials are receiving from the state’s favorite clergy,” Weinberg said…”
