It’s Friday, September 21st, 2018…and as a combination of business and pleasure limited our creativity for most of the day, here’s an abbreviated edition of The Gouge!

First up, Speed Mach forwarded the following column by John Kass writing at the Chicago Tribune:

Eviscerating Kavanaugh: Sen. Feinstein, have you no sense of decency?

Uhhh, that would be…NO!

If there are no atheists in fox holes, there’s sure as heck no sense of decency in a Dimocratic politician fighting for her political life…though at 85, one would have thought her career has passed its expiration date.

But that’s not what caught our eye in Kass’ commentary; rather it was the following two snippets:

“…And so, I ask again, Sen. Feinstein: Have you no decency? Make no mistake. I do not and will not in any way address this question to Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.“

“…Again, I’m not judging Ford here. No one should judge her heart. But Feinstein and her pals are using Ford to play a dangerous game.“

Sorry, but we not only object to Kass kid-gloves response…

This total BULLSH*T about not judging is what’s gotten us here.  Of COURSE we should judge her…and her-wholly unsubstantiated claims, selective recall, political leanings and timing.  In fact, we MUST judge her, because THAT’S PRECISELY what she’s asking US to do with KAVANAUGH…and solely on the basis of her word!!!

We thought this was woman a college professor, not…

…Joe Isuzu.

And if Ford’s playing a dangerous game, it’s a contest in which she willingly engaged! So to hell with her…and the 85-year-old nag she rode in on!
