So where, inquiring minds want to know, were the “peaceful protests”, the purposefully targeted violence, arson and looting, not to mention an attempted assault on the White House?  After all, the majority of the cops involved were Caucasian, including the officer who held his knee pressed against the unresisting victim’s back for some 14 minutes…well after he stopped breathing.

The reason had nothing to do with the skin color of the officers and everything to do with the race of the victim, ‘cuz you see, Tony Timpa…

…was WHITE!!!

Nor were there “peaceful protests”, targeted violence, arson and looting, let alone an attempted assault on the White House, when Australian bride-to-be Justine Ruszczyk was murdered by a nervous-in-the-service Somali immigrant who had…in an abject surrender to political correctness AND political expedience…been prematurely handed a badge:

BTW, if you’ve ever doubted the accuracy of Snopes.com, this entry ought to remove any doubt of the website’s unabashed bias. 

Fact is, the system worked one helluva lot faster for George Floyd than it did for Justine Ruszczyk. 

Here’s the juice: Racism definitely exists in America, but thanks to the unabashed, unrelenting efforts of The Great Divider and his evil, race-baiting minions…

…it’s flip-flopped: Whites are now the subject of bias rather than Blacks, as, refusing to admit and apologize for the sins of their political ancestors, contemporary Progressives are attempting to rewrite history and blame Conservative Republicans…AND The Donald…for slavery, Jim Crow and the Great Society programs of Lyndon Bains Johnson which are indeed the source of all Black societal ills.  

Think about it: when did Minneapolis last have a Republican mayor?  That would be December 31, 1973…for ONE DAY!!!  And as John Fund notes at NRO, with which political party was the union which kept Derek Chauvin a cop allied…along with every other major city in the nation?!?  Seriously: tell us again how this is this a White, Conservative problem, let alone the result of systemic, endemic national racism?!?

One characteristic quality of true Conservatives is a willingness to question everything and everyone, which today includes Tucker’s assessment of Mike Pence (accessible below at the 12:31 mark)…

…and with which, after reviewing the facts, we’re forced to disagree.  However, we find his judgement regarding the baseless conclusions of Carly Fiorina, Kay Coles James and Nikki Haley MOST compelling.

Based upon the upshot of this trio’s trifecta of tortured logic, we must conclude the next time a Black man is slain by a law enforcement official we can cross the street confident we can steal our neighbor’s possessions.

Truth is, as Larry Elder has repeatedly reminded us, if you’re a young Black child in America, all you need to do to avoid poverty and achieve whatever you set your mind to is go to school, study hard for two hours a day, don’t a child have a child out of wedlock and/or before you’re 25.  PERIOD!!!

At the risk of seeming repetitious, believing anything else…

…is either stupid…or buying into someone else’s political agenda which doesn’t have your success at its heart.

Democrats Bite the Bullet Train

The coronavirus may finally kill Jerry Brown’s boondoggle to nowhere.

“In the very small department of coronavirus silver linings, a budget crunch in California is causing Democrats to re-examine some wasteful spending. This includes, fiscal saints be praised, former Gov. Jerry Brown’s bullet train to nowhere.

Gov. Gavin Newsom last year scaled back progressive ambitions for a 500-mile high-speed train from Orange County to San Francisco due to cost overruns, logistical headaches and legal challenges. Instead the state would build a 171-mile starter train between Bakersfield and Merced in the Central Valley.

Democrats now want to shorten the line to the 120 miles of track already under construction and run lower-cost diesel trains in lieu of cleaner electric ones. Recall that the train’s original purpose was to reduce carbon emissions. California’s 2008 bond initiative also said the train “will not require operating subsidy.”

The state High-Speed Rail Authority now projects the 171-mile stretch would cost $20 billion to build and lose between $40 million and $90 million a year. Even that assumes millions of people living in the Central Valley each year will ride the train to Merced and then use commuter rail to connect to San Jose.

As economic consultants William Grindley and Bill Warren have pointed out, a round-trip between Bakersfield and San Jose would take 12 hours and 10 minutes and cost $189 without a subsidy and $104 with a subsidy…”

“…“To me,” Johnson said, “the fundamental cause is the economic inequality that African-Americans as a whole face in this nation and unless we move aggressively to solve that problem…this riot will be the foundation of future riots unless we solve that problem.” (Soooo...not counting the innumerable past riots!)

Baier asked Johnson who would be responsible for providing the $14 trillion in reparations and how the U.S. can afford it at a time of economic turmoil.

“The taxpayers will pay for this because for two reasons, particularly,” Johnson responded. “One, it is an atonement for 200-plus years of slavery, segregation, Jim Crowism, and the denial of people opportunity rights. (Soooo…only DIMOCRATIC taxpayers, right!?!) But, the result of that payment would be to bring African-Americans equal to White Americans in terms of opportunity, wealth and income.

“Instead of looking at it as a payment, look at it as an investment in 40 million African-Americans who deserve equal treatment and equal opportunity.”…”
