It’s Monday, December 14th, 2020…but before we begin, we offer a few random thoughts on the passing scene occasioned by this recent cartoon from Day by Day‘s Chris Muir entitles Blue States Can Hiss Off…
(2). We’ve had rigged elections before; LBJ was first elected to the Senate in 1948 courtesy of 202 ballots found 6 days after the polls closed, all of which went for him (Sound familiar?!?). Mayor Richard J. Daley and his Chicago machine delivered Illinois to JFK via demonstrable fraud in 1960. And while Lyndon Johnson would eventually go on to show in 1964-65 just how much havoc a political party with a decades-long monopoly on power could wreak, neither Johnson or Kennedy were looking to effectively overturn the Constitution and impose Socialism on the nation. Both were, at heart, patriots who would never subvert the interests of America to outside influence, let alone leave their country to grovel at the feet of her greatest foreign foe.
(3). The United States of America was never guaranteed nor destined to survive in perpetuity. The Union was based on disparate groups of people with disparate interests reaching a consensus for the mutual benefit of all parties concerned under the rule of laws which were equally-applied. Unfortunately, exclusively owing to The Left, this is no longer the case. And the complete and utter abdication of its proper role and responsibilities by the Fourth Estate has only served to make a bad situation worse. Case in point is Jake Tapper’s recent reference to supporters of the failed Texas lawsuit as “un-democratic” and “un-American“. Funny, we can’t recall Jake using similar terms to describe the cast of characters who pushed the three-year Russian collusion witch hunt, or the Trump impeachment farce.
(4). Which brings us back to Chris Muir’s cartoon and Allen West’s comments about secession. There is a common misunderstanding regarding the primary impact of the outcome of the War Between the States, namely that the North’s victory over the Confederacy didn’t determine secession to be unconstitutional, rather only the ability…andwillingness…of the federal government at that time to preserve the Union through force of arms.
Take for example this statement by Kaylee McGhee in commentary at the Washington Examiner entitled Talk of Secession is Madness:
“The Supreme Court was right to toss Texas’s lawsuit for several reasons, the most important being that Texas did not have legal standing to sue four other states over election laws that they passed when those election laws did not directly affect Texas’s government or its citizens. To put it plainly, Texas did not have the right to hold Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, or Wisconsin “accountable.” The Constitution affords those states the right to conduct their elections as they see fit, and any disputes that arise from this process must be settled at the political level where election laws are made.
This is the constitutional process at work. And to suggest that it should be abandoned, or that Texas should “bond together” with other Republican-led states — presumably, the 18 other states that joined Texas’s lawsuit — to form a different union is madness. This is one nation, made up of different states, which are made up of very different people. But no matter what, these states are unitedunder one Constitution and bound toone set of rules.
It is highly unlikely any state or political party would act upon this nonsense. But even the mere suggestion that we should consider a move towards separation should be shut down, because this isn’t just about our political disagreements or differing values. Threatening to disband the union has serious implications for our national security, economic well-being, cultural stability, and constitutional order. And as such, it should not be taken lightly.“

We’re certainly not there…yet! But Kaylee McGhee and others of her ilk will forgive us if we respectfully suggest, were the Dimocrats able to steal Georgia’s two senate seats…thus enabling Communist Kamala Harris to have the tie-breaking vote to inflict upon the country a long train of abuses and usurpations evincing a design to reduce America under absolute despotism, it would be our right, indeed our duty, to throw offsuch government and provide new safeguards for the future security of ourselves and our families.
And seeing how Texas and other Red States are self-sufficient in energy, manufacturing, food production and other essential economic elements, what’s to stop them? After all, even in its deliberately debilitated form, we cannot imagine America’s Military obeying orders to attack Texas. Sorry, ain’t happenin‘! The senior Brass and the Air Farce…maybe; but not the rank-and-file ground pounders, let alone the Marines, Naval Aviators or SEALs.
Then consider, once those unwilling to work in Red State urban centers learn their sloth will no longer be rewarded with cash…when illegal aliens understand breaking immigration laws will no longer be greeted with free education and other services…when the mentally-ill realize they’ll be treated in hospitals rather than left free to roam the streets and defecate in public…when criminals comprehend their crimes will be met with swift and certain punishment…when businesses believe they’ve been freed from layers and layers of unnecessary bureaucratic red tape and regulations…and the Constitution is updated to address flaws the Founders never could have envisioned…good luck to the Blue States making it work with the FLOOD of freeloaders crossing their borders.
Again, we’re not there…yet! But if The Left believes Americans such as we will willingly allow the likes of corruptacrats such Joe “I’m Proud of Hunter” Biden and Kamala “Sleeper” Harris, with the active assistance of a thoroughly compliant MSM, to infringe upon our rights to self-defense, limit our speech, surrender huge swaths of our cities to anarchist mobs, normalize the abnormal and otherwise overthrow the Constitution of the United States based on their say-so alone, they’ve got another think comin’!
Here’s the juice: as a last-ditch effort to preserve the Union, Trump needs to appoint two special counsels: one to investigate the Biden family, the other to uncover the truth behind the 2020 election. In addition to likely being the only way to restore the faith of more than 50% of the electorate in “The System”, sure as shootin’…

First up, taking a page from the combined playbook of Barack Hussein Obama and Jane Fonda, Townhall.com‘s Bronson Stocking reports…

If Melinda ever flew commercial, she might be familiar with the advice of placing the oxygen mask on yourself before assisting other people. The Gates were skeptical that Operation Warp Speed would even produce a vaccine by year’s end, but now they worry about Americans getting it first. The only thing consistent with these globalists is they always want America to come last.
While the Gates were doubting the 2020 arrival of a vaccine, the Trump administration was sending millions to states and coordinating efforts to distribute the vaccine as soon as one receives approval from the FDA.
Melinda Gates, who warns about so-called “vaccine nationalism,” said President Trump’s executive order putting Americans first in line to receive the vaccine “is exactly what we were worried about.” Gates said Trump should invoke the Defense Production Act, for the umpteenth time, and scale up “lots and lots of manufacturing so that not just the U.S. gets vaccines but everybody gets vaccines.” (Like they won’t?!?)
…“I just knew it was coming and I was just incredibly disappointed,” Gates said about Trump’s America First executive order. Gates said she was looking forward to Joe Biden becoming president and bringing his “global leadership” to the White House before warning of “dark months” to come while Trump remains in office.“
We’d suggest if Melinda and Bill are so anxious for the Third World to receive the Wuhan vaccine in what they determine to be a timely fashion, how ’bout they use their billions to open their own factory under license from one of the pharmaceutical companies which has developed the vaccine and manufacture it solely for use as they see fit!

Bernard was 18 when he took part in the killing of married youth ministers Todd and Stacie Bagley, who were from Iowa.
…Todd Bagley’s mother, Georgia, said Thursday that “without this process, my family and I would not have the closure needed to move on in life.This senseless act of unnecessary evil was premeditated and had many opportunities to be stopped at any time during a 9-hour period. This was torture, as they pleaded for their lives from the trunk of their own car,” she said in a statement. “Please remember that the lives of family and friends were shattered and we all have grieved for 21 years waiting for justice to be served.”…”
Two things are for certain: first, Brandon Bernard will never torture and kill again. Second, he enjoyed 21 more years with his family…
“Vialva, Bernard and three others tortured the couple for more than seven hours before murdering them in Killeeen, Texas on June 21, 1999. The killers were members of a local street gang in Texas and they sent a 15-year-old to stop Bagley’s car and beg for a ride. Once the Bagley’s stopped, four of the others jumped into the car at gunpoint.
They put Todd, a U.S. Veteran, and Stacie in the trunk of the car and drove around for seven hours as the couple pleaded to be released.Instead, the gang members emptied out their bank accounts and stripped the couple of their money and jewelry and clothing.
Vialva shot both Todd and Stacie in the face, killing Todd instantly. Stacie was shot in the mouth after watching her husband being killed by Vialva and Bernard. Bernard had helped Vialva put the Bagleys in the trunk.After Vialva shot them, leaving Stacie bleeding and seriously wounded, Bernard poured lighter fluid on the car and victims and set them on fire to destroy the “evidence.” Staci, bleeding from her face, was burned alive in the trunk of the car. They said she died from “smoke inhalation” as her skin burned.”
“According to Brown, Stacie’s last words were “Jesus loves you” and “Jesus, take care of us.”
We hope, prior to his execution, Brandon Bernard came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. If so, we look forward to making his acquaintance in Heaven…where he’ll have been enjoying a much better time than those of us he left behind.
One last note: While the article notes four more federal inmates are scheduled for execution prior to Biden’s inauguration, it neglects to mention that’s the point everyone else in the country will be effectively taking two behind the ear!
