It’s Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021…and here’s The Gouge!

First up, as Katie Pavlich notes at Townhall.com, “Your business may have been shut down, destroying your livelihood, and your kids haven’t been in school, but America’s most expensive bureaucrat is getting another payday at your expense“, noting…

Faux Chi Just Landed a Seven-Figure Book Deal

In his own words, world-renowned infectious disease specialist Anthony Fauci shares the lessons that have shaped his life philosophy, offering an intimate view of one of the world’s greatest medical minds as well as universal advice to live by. Sure to strike a chord with readers, the inspiring words of wisdom in this book are centered around life lessons compiled from hours of interviews, offering a concrete path to a bright and hopeful future.

No word whether those willing to give Dr. Faux Chi more of their hard-earned money will learn how the “life philosophy” of “one of the world’s greatest medical minds” came to include considering the potential benefits of gain-of-function virus research to be worth the risk of a world-wide pandemic.

What happened to “Do no harm”?!?  Something tells us Faux Chi’s deal was inked prior to that little germ of an idea escaping into the ether.

In his timely obituary of this overpaid, self-impressed paper-pusher, NRO‘s Michael Brendan Dougherty details…

The Fall of Saint Anthony Fauci

On the unforced errors of America’s most political doctor

It’s no wonder Dr. Faux Chi spent his entire career in the unaccountable federal bureaucracy, as, given his rather checkered past, were he in the private sector he’d have been fired long ago.

To borrow a phrase from the immortal Josey Wales…

Since we’re on the subject of those heading to Hell, FOX informs us, at least according to…

Biden: ‘I’m a capitalist, but here’s the deal

This country’s broken,’ he said, blaming high CEO wages

Yeah, 46* is a “capitalist”…like his wife’s a “doctor”.  Please note, CEO wages are too high, not the fat fees paid the Big Guy, Hunter or the other members of the Biden crime family.

Nor, for that matter, the remuneration taken by Patrisse…

…-Cullors, who, Townhall.com‘s Rebecca Downs informs us, is gettin’ while the gettin’s good:

BLM Founder with Massive Wealth and Four Homes to Step Down

Patrisse Cullors, the Black Lives Matter co-founder with four homes and millions in the bank, announced on Thursday she is stepping down from the organization, Aaron Morrison reported for AP. The 37-year-old activist said her resignation has been in the works for more than a year and has nothing to do with the personal attacks she has faced from far-right groups or any dissension within the movement.

“I’ve created the infrastructure and the support, and the necessary bones and foundation, so that I can leave,” she said. It feels like the time is right.”…”

Yeah, like when Nixon, as putrid a pox on America as ever occupied the Offal Office, felt the time was right to resign, or Butch and Sundance felt the time was right to embark for Bolivia.  Her departure couldn’t have anything to do with The Daily Caller’s report she used her position as the charity’s leader to funnel business to an art company led by the father of her only child, an act charity experts say “amounts to self-dealing and raises ethical and legal questions”.

L. Ron Hubbard accurately characterized the true nature of Scientology when in 1948 he announced at a meeting of the Eastern Science Fiction Association, “You don’t get rich writing science fiction. If you want to get richyou start a religion.”  After which Hubbard took his own advice and, like Joseph Smith before him, invented one based on complete fabrications.

Patrisse…

…-Cullors and her Marxists-for-profit cohorts simply opted to invent a movement, or perhaps more accurately, a bowel movement, also founded on flat-out falsehoods.

Speaking of flat-out fabricators, it can only be an incredible coincidence Hunter’s Burisma board compensation was cut in half two months after the Big Guy left office.

Next up, writing at Townhall.com, Kurt Schlichter details a delusion not only shared by everyone on The Left, but many of their NeverTrumper allies who once occupied The Right, Liz Cheney among them: an all-consuming…

Insurrection Obsession

Okay, let’s say out loud what the regime doesn’t want said – there was no insurrection.

At least not in Washington, D.C. Now, in places like Portland and Seattle, there were and are insurrections, actual ongoing occupations of actual territory by actual criminals where the government is expressly told it’s not in charge and to stay out. And, of course, the government tolerates those insurrections. It does so because the Democrats in charge – this nonsense never happens in Florida with DeSantis in charge – perceives the actual insurrectionists as political allies, so they do nothing. Some insurrections, it appears, are more insurrectiony than others…”

Again, as long as the animals “more equal than others” receive their cut.

Moving on, we offer a nonet of items specially selected for inquiring Conservative minds:

(1). Speaking only for ourselves, we’ve bought our last Kellogg’s product.  It used to be Kellogg’s of Battle Creek; here’s hoping it’s soon Kellogg’s up Schitt’s Creek…without a proverbial paddle.

(2). As Scott Morefield records at Townhall.comin a move which puts her in outright opposition to her 2022 opponent for the Idaho governor’s mansion, current LIEUTENANT governor Janice McGeachen ended local mask mandates while the governor traveled out of state.  Idaho (just to be clear, that’s “Idaho” the state, NOT to be confused with Kommielaa “I da ho” Harris!) never had a statewide mask mandate, though local jurisdictions and school districts have been allowed to impose their own.

(3). Since we’re on the subject of the Gem State, the Bellevue, ID deputy who produced the classic and completely appropriate LeBron smackdown video has been fired by mayor Ned Burns.  Here’s hoping Nate Silvester sues the city for every penny it’s got, followed by Bellevue voters sending Burns packing…

…and his little dogs, too!  Meanwhile, we’ll be curious to see how long it takes for the mayor to change his phone number and email.

(4). Meet one Jaime Osuna, lifelong guest of the taxpayers of California,…

…self-described Satanist and poster boy for the continued and commonplace use of the death penalty, who after torturing and beheading his cellmate was found wearing a necklace made of the departed’s body parts.  Sorry, but since human respiration produces CO2, a KNOWN contributor to the non-existent but, at least in the minds of Libtards, existential threat of anthropogenic global warming, we’d say Mr. Osuna needs to take one for the planet.

(5). IF systemic racism actually existed in the ranks of American law enforcement, rather than the few bad apples which survive in any organization or profession, NRO’s Andy McCarthy details the hill on which those arguing against America should have made their stand rather than the drug-ravaged body of career-criminal George Floyd.  Though even in the case of Ronald Greene, the audio reveals the departed himself admitted “Okay, okay, I’m sorry”.  While whatever he regretted certainly wasn’t worthy of death, he nonetheless acknowledged Louisiana police had reason both to detain him and treat him with a certain amount of severity.

(6). Florida’s Ron DeSantis offers an object lesson to South Dakota’s Kristi Noem, the former rising Conservative star who fizzled out over the issue of biological males competing in female spors.

(7). TLJ mentioned earlier this evening she hadn’t heard anything from The Donald of late, to which we replied, “Thank Heaven for small blessings!”  This is why.  No, we don’t believe Maggie Haberman’s reporting, but the fact remains Trump’s tweets and statements make it possible.

(8). NRO‘s Kevin Williamson relates the existence in America of a dangerous state of affairs, but not necessarily for the reasons he lists.

(9). John Cena may PLAY tough guys in his movies, but in REALITY he’s a CONFIRMED, ChiCom-cowering COWARD.

Finally, we’ll call it a wrap with both a sordid story and a titillating tale torn from the pages of The Crime Blotter.  First, the titillating tale, as we learn the daughter-in-law of British billionaire Lord Michael Ashcroft and mother of two, one…

Jasmine Hartin Has Been Charged in Death of Belize Police Henry Jemmott

“…[A] British news site reported thаt Hаrtin аnd Jemmott were “drinking аnd sociаlizing” when Jemmott wаs killed by а bullet fired from his own service weаpon. It “hit him behind his right eаr,” аccording to Dаily Mаil.

Dаily Mаil reported thаt Hаrtin mаy be chаrged in connection with the deаth. According to Dаily Mаil, Hаrtin told аuthorities the shooting wаs а “freаk аccident,” аnd she hаd been giving Jemmott а mаssаge, аnd they were plаying аround with the gun. Dаily Mаil reported thаt the two were аccused of violаting curfew аnd were drinking аlcohol аlone but were old friends…”

Giving him a massage…playing around with the gun…while drinking alcohol…alone…just “old friends”: Yeah,…

Now, the sordid story, as it’s been revealed the…

Suspect in Cash Gernon’s kidnap and murder grabbed another toddler in February, but the child’s grandfather declined to press charges

“…Darriynn Brown, 18, who is charged with kidnapping 4-year-old Cash Gernon earlier this month, is facing counts of burglary of a habitation and injury to an elderly person in the Feb. 8 incident, according to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by KTVT.

Brown is accused of barging into a man’s home months before Cash was found dead, prompting a homeowner to grab a knife and demand he leave, the affidavit states. The unidentified man managed to get Brown out, but the teen returned and started kicking a door between the home and its garage, forcing the homeowner to open the door — and Brown allegedly punched him in the head, according to the affidavit. Brown then allegedly walked into a living room and grabbed the man’s 2-year-old granddaughter as she slept. The teen started to walk away with the toddler, but the man was able rip the child from his grasp, the affidavit states.

The homeowner did not want to press charges at the time, and saw Brown weeks later at a Walmart — where the teen apologized for what happened, the station reported. “He was sorry for breaking into the house and trying to take his grandchild,” the man told police.

Three days after Cash was found dead on a Dallas street while wearing only a pair of shorts, the grandfather met with child abuse detectives to say he now wanted to press charges in the incident, KTVT reported…”

Edmund Burke had it right: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”  Good luck living with that the rest of your life, grandpa.

Magoo

P.S. As we’ll be playing a rare round of golf Thursday afternoon, followed by a drive with TLJ to join our daughter-in-love Liz in West Virginia and watch our eldest son coach his high school lacrosse team in the playoffs, we’ll likely be radio silent through the weekend.  So, ’til Monday…

Video of the Day

Honestly, does anyone have a clue WTF this creature is talking about, let alone cackling over?!? No wonder she’s kept under wraps!

46* may have added the word “women” and substituted “inalienable” for “unalienable” to Thomas Jefferson’s words, but he did get that last part right regarding the only thing that can defeat America, as HE and his fellow Progressives truly ARE the “US”!
