Obama’s Psychological Tapestry

“…Early on with Mr. Obama, I assumed his chronic finger pointing was simply cynical. It may be that in part, but it seems to me to be more than that. It’s one thread in a larger psychological tapestry.

The president is a man who has a grandiose sense of himself, a very strong sense of entitlement, and is, even for a politician, unusually prickly and self-pitying. He is blind to the damage he’s doing and the failures he’s amassed. His self-conception–pragmatic, empirical, non-ideological, self-reflective, willing to listen to and work with others, intellectually honest, competent at governing–is at odds with reality. Mr. Obama is constantly projecting his own weaknesses onto his political opponents. There are never any honest differences with Obama; he is always impugning the motives of his critics–they put “party ahead of country”–while presenting his own motives as being as pure as the new-driven snow. And whatever goes wrong on his watch is always the result of someone or something else. There’s a kind of impressive consistency to Obama’s blame game. It never rests, and it applies to every conceivable circumstance.

Mr. Obama also has the habit of increasing his mockery of his political opponents as his own ineptness is exposed. Which explains why so often these days Obama’s public remarks are the equivalent of playground taunts

And as a fish rots from the head, this President’s psychological defects permeate his entire Administration; case in point:

‘I,’ ‘Me,’ ‘My’—Obama Uses First Person Singular 199 Times in Speech Vowing Unilateral Action

“I’m just telling the truth now,” Obama told the crowd. “I don’t have to run for office again, so I can just let her rip. And I want to assure you, I’m really not that partisan of a guy.”

To prove this, Obama went on to say Abraham Lincoln was his favorite president, and then gave a list of what he called “great Republican presidents”—which included Richard Nixon. “My favorite president is the first Republican president, a guy named Abraham Lincoln,” Obama said. “You look at our history, and we had great Republican presidents who–like Teddy Roosevelt started the National Park System, and Dwight Eisenhower built the Interstate Highway System, and Richard Nixon started the EPA.”

The White House presented Obama’s speech, which the president delivered at Austin’s Paramount Theatre, as “Remarks by the President on the Economy.” The remarks, the White House reports, ran 40 minutes, and the full transcript (including annotations for “laughter” and “applause”) is more than 5,500 words. By contrast, President Abraham Lincoln’s Gettyburg Address was only 272 words–and did not include any form of the first person singular.

In President Obama’s speech, he used a first person singular, on average, every 12 seconds. At that rate, had Obama spoken for just 15 more minutes, he would have used the first person singular more than 272 times in one speech—exceeding all the words in the Gettysburg Address. In one 68-word passage–in which he vowed to act unilaterally if Congress did not enact legislation he liked–Obama used the first person singular five more times than the zero times Lincoln used it in his 272 words at Gettysburg.

No one watching the video clip above 6 years ago, not even those who’ve since sold their souls in his service, would have believed a sitting President could speak and act with such childish petulance.  He isn’t interested in the future of our country; his only concerns lie with where he’s playing his next round of golf or taking his next vacation.

And if The Narcissist-in-Chief’s fits of pique and self-absorption lead Americans to question his abilities and resolve, imagine the impression they’re leaving on the likes of Al-Queda, ISIS and Hamas, let alone the NoKos, Chicoms, Russians and Iranians?!?

As Kevin McCullough notes at Townhall.com, coupled with his innumerable foreign policy miscues, it’s enough to make a body wonder…

Does Obama Believe in Terrorism?

So… to review we’ve got Al Qaeda ready to penetrate our southern border (if they haven’t already). They’re intent on killing us. And we may be giving them rides to anywhere in the lower 48 states.
Then came the information from the National Border Patrol Council, documenting that the same Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) that feels you up, or looks at you on naked machines at airports has been ordered to allow these aliens to fly on commercial jet-liners (no doubt at partial tax-payer expense) with nothing more than their “Notice to Appear” paper from their initial hearing when they arrive in the USA. And as long as they have these easily forged papers TSA can not ask them any further questions about identity. They are then using that form of identification to fly anywhere they wish in the country.

This loosely enforced “security” could put active members of Al Qaeda or any number of other Muslim Brotherhood groups into the heart of New York, DC, or other prime target rich environments. Almost over night, and almost undetected to the good people of America.
The President isn’t stopping the border crossings where nearly 100 for every 4000 that are coming across (and that’s the per day average) turn out to be people of middle eastern origins. The President isn’t requiring the illegal visitors to face the law and it’s Biblically acceptable enforcement. In some cases the crossers are making their initial appearances by SKYPE to a desk operation four states over. The President has instructed the border patrol to play nice and not get into confrontational situations. The President has ordered more than a quarter of a million personal rides to those who wish to meet up with relatives, friend’s, and just people that they know. And the President has not reversed the silly edict allowing anyone in the USA to fly without an ID.
In other words he’s acting as though he firmly doubts that America is being readied for another major-bigger-than-the-previous-record-setting terror attack. But beyond that he’s actively doing as much as possible to get us as close to that possible reality.

Which helps explains why…

Cochran gets lost on way to Senate lunch

Thad-Cochran-Smiling

“…Cochran, while talking with The Hill, made a few wrong turns before accidentally ending up at Senate Democrats’ luncheon.

After exiting a Senate elevator on the wrong floor, Cochran and The Hill reboarded. He then found the right floor but turned away from the Senate GOP luncheon, a few yards from the elevator, to stroll in the opposite direction, arriving at the Democrats’ weekly gathering a few hallways away.

He chatted with Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) for a few minutes at the entrance, with Pryor congratulating him on his recent primary win over Tea Party-backed candidate Chris McDaniel, which his opponent is challenging. Cochran didn’t seem to realize he was in the wrong place until someone in the room asked him if he was planning to join the Democrats for lunch…

Should this really come as a surprise from a guy who wasn’t even aware…

…Eric Cantor’s contract hadn’t been renewed?

Next up, Der Obafuhrer’s supposed interest in the plight of ordinary, hard-working Americans notwithstanding, here’s one we expect won’t being receiving a response to her correspondence:

Mother of officer killed by illegal immigrant writes Obama

The mother of a fallen Mesa police sergeant is writing President Barack Obama in hopes of changing immigration laws in the U.S. Police said Mary Ann Mendoza’s son, Sgt. Brandon Mendoza, was hit head-on by a driver who had been living in the country illegally for two decades.

Officials said for much of that time Raul Silva-Corona was wanted for charges including burglary, assault and leaving the scene of an accident. When he was finally captured in 2002, he took a plea deal and was allowed to stay in the United States.

Comedian Paul Rodriguez sounds a similar note of inescapable common sense:

It’s common sense all right; i.e., facts versus feelings.  Which makes the concept utterly incomprehensible to anyone on the Left.

UAW continues unionization efforts at Volkswagen plant in Tennessee

ramirez-12-13-12-unions-socialism-bumper-stickers

Workers at the Tennessee Volkswagen plant rejected the labor giant’s bid to form the first auto union in the right to work state in February. The union signed a neutrality agreement with the German auto manufacturer that gave organizers an advantage during its campaign.

However, that agreement also contained a provision barring the union from any organizing activity for one year following the vote. The union decided to break that pledge on Thursday, announcing the formation of a new local that would allow workers to join voluntarily.

And in the Inevitable Results segment, exactly as we predicted, a…

Judge Says Abortion Makes Incest Okay, And Incest Is Fine Because It’s Like Homosexuality

Garry-Neilson_460_300_s_c1

A judge in Australia’s most populous state has compared incest and pedophilia to homosexuality because homosexuality, now broadly accepted, used to be illegal and widely considered unnatural as recently as a few decades ago.

The judge, Garry Neilson, also opined that legalized abortion makes the taboo against incest unnecessary because the “only reason” incest remains a crime is to lower the risk of genetic defects in children born from incest, The Sydney Morning Herald reports. “But even that falls away to an extent [because] there is such ease of contraception and readily access to abortion,” the judge pontificated.

“A jury might find nothing untoward in the advance of a brother towards his sister once she had sexually matured, had sexual relationships with other men and was now ‘available,’ not having [a] sexual partner,” he also said.

Absent any accepted moral standard such as the tenets of Judeo-Christian teaching, who’s to say he’s wrong?!?  Seriously, when nothing is wrong, everything is right!

Finally, on the Lighter Side…
