Here’s the juice: The original two-week lockdown was NEVER INTENDED to decrease the ultimate number of cases, only slow the rate of spread so as to not overwhelm hospitals. “Flattening the curve” did just that: It FLATTENED the curve, without impacting the overall case number one iota. Besides, the number of cases HAS TO INCREASE in order for the country to achieve herd immunity.
But those committed to dethroning The Donald will do or say anything to prevent him winning a second term…even sacrifice the lives of untold numbers of their countrymen to the effects of a continuing, wholly-unscientific lockdown.

In fact, the dynamic at work in the New York Post story about the emails regarding Biden is the same as the New York Times scoop about the president’s tax returns. That computer repair shop in Delaware has legalaccess to the files in the computer (because they were presumably hired by the FBI to fix something) but not legal authority to distribute what’s in those files. The Supreme Court nominee refused to play their game, and kept her responses focused on what matters: her record, her philosophy, the big picture.
