It’s Monday, April 19th, 2021…but before we begin, here’s an excellent item from Breitbart‘s John Nolte via our sister-in-law Amy:

Rural Trump Voters Already Live in the Safe, Tolerant Utopia Leftists Claim to Want

If I had to boil down the political wisdom I’ve learned over four decades of observing, studying, writing, and debating, it would be this…

Life in Rural America (which is where Republican Trump voters live and govern), is clean, safe and racially tolerant. Most places in America where life is dirty, polluted, dangerous, violent, and plagued with racial hate and race riots, are cities that are almost exclusively populated by and governed by Democrats.

Outside of these Democrat-run cities, America is peaceful, safe, clean, and racially tolerant. What’s more, if you remove these Democrat-run cities from our national statistics, you will find an America that is overwhelmingly peaceful, safe, clean, and racially tolerant.

Nevertheless, Democrats and their fake-media allies still blame Republicans for all of their problems…”

Which is somewhat akin to a wife-beating husband blaming his abhorrent conduct on his spouse for allowing him to abuse her.

Now, here’s The Gouge!

First up, while the demented 46* falsely claims expanded background checks and more restrictive gun laws are the answer, the FedEx shootings appear to be the work of still another mentally-ill individual who should have been flagged under existing statutes, yet againsomehow…inexplicably slipped through the cracks:

Indiana’s red flag law didn’t stop Brandon Scott Hole from killing 8 people

“…In March 2020, police took a brand new shotgun from then 18-year-old Brandon Scott Hole when his mother reported his desire to die at the hands of law enforcementJust four months later, he legally bought an assault rifle in Indianapolis. He would add another to his collection two months after that.

And 13 months removed from the call his mother made to police at the precipice of the pandemic, Hole used his two assault weapons to kill eight people and himself at a FedEx facility on Indianapolis’ southwest side.

As the city grieves, questions surround the 19-year-old alleged gunman’s ability to legally buy multiple weapons mere weeks after both local and federal authorities were made aware of his mental instability and his plans to commit “suicide by cop.”…”

We’re also curious why almost every report on the shootings mentioned most FedEx employees at the site were barred from bringing their cell phones inside the facility, “which led to confusion and anxiety as friends and family sought to get in touch with loved ones after news of a mass shooting.”  As if a policy clearly intended to promote maximum efficiency was somehow cold and heartless.  Our recommendation?  If you don’t like a company’s policies, seek alternative employment.

Since we’re on the subject of cold and heartless, courtesy of his Private Papers, the great VDH opines on…

Optimism, Inc.: COVID News

The more pessimistic the CDC, Dr. Fauci, and the Biden Administration sound on the pandemic, the more cautiously optimistic I become, albeit as a non-medical observer of the pandemic.

I also do not mean that as a contrarian, but, after all, we are approaching a perfect storm of events that could threaten at last to blow out the virus.

As the virus subsides, what will the omnipresent, camera-addicted, and ubiquitous, Dr. Fauci do

And finally, as we look back, we can add up four knowns:

1) There is a level-4 virology lab in Wuhan. It is ground zero of the pandemic. There was gain-in-function viral research ongoing at the lab, a strong Chinese military presence, and a prior record of sloppy procedures.

2) The Chinese government has corrupted WHO. Beijing denied access to its lab to international inspectors, while lying repeatedly about the date, origins and nature of the virus.

3) While the US has been threatened by prior scares of SARS-CoV-1, H1NI, West Nile, and avian flu , etc. and various pandemics—along with the rest of the world—never in recent memory has a virus appeared so suddenly and proved so infectious and so utterly disruptive. The more adamantly the Chinese communist government and American elites insist on a bat origin, the more adamantly they seek to stifle or ridicule those who legitimately inquire about the possibility of a leak and cover-up of a human-enhanced or even natural virus.

4) If information ever got out that COVID-19 was the result of a Chinese-engineered coronavirus, or even a captive natural virus, one that escaped its own labs and that such information was deliberately withheld from the world, as those infected left China on planes throughout the globe, the Chinese brand would be all but through for decades to come.

I will let the reader decide whether the Chinese were terrified of the economic consequences of the escaped virus (whatever its origin, nature, or source) and so lied about its potential lethality, or shrugged once it escaped, “Better now everyone suffers rather than just us”, or at some point pivoted and concluded, “Well, it’s a tragedy, but at least it creates future deterrence: no one will wish to confront us when there is always the chance of another accidental COVID-21 or  COVID 22-30 on the horizon.” All these hypotheticals, far-fetched and realistic, could easily be dispelled in a day by complete transparency, access to researchers, and opening of records. This the Chinese communist not just won’t, but can’t, do.

As Jim Geraghty noted in last Friday’s Morning Jolt:

“In case you missed it yesterday, despite a wave of good news about the COVID-19 pandemic, our leaders (the word “leaders” deserves to be shown in quotation marks!) appear to have been inoculated against any symptoms of optimism or celebrating any progress.

In a related item forwarded by Balls Cotton, politicians aren’t the only “leaders” dedicated to obfuscating the truth, as this story from the American Conservative Movement confirms:

Study quietly published at NIH.gov proves face masks are absolutely worthless against Covid

The diapers most of us are wearing on our face most of the time apparently have no effect at stopping Covid-19. This explains a lot.

“…The sentence Cortes quoted from the study’s conclusion reads: “The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks.”

Twitter messaged Cortes demanding he delete the Tweet, citing that he broke Twitter rules specifically for, “Violating the policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19.”

Vainshelboim drew many conclusions from the vast information he compiled, but arguably the biggest bombshell in it can be found in the “Efficacy of facemasks” section [emphasis added]:

According to the current knowledge, the virus SARS-CoV-2 has a diameter of 60 nm to 140 nm [nanometers (billionth of a meter)] [16], [17], while medical and non-medical facemasks’ thread diameter ranges from 55 µm to 440 µm [micrometers (one millionth of a meter), which is more than 1000 times larger [25]. Due to the difference in sizes between SARS-CoV-2 diameter and facemasks thread diameter (the virus is 1000 times smaller), SARS-CoV-2 can easily pass through any facemask.

This study isn’t the only one out there that demonstrates scientifically the inefficacy and dangers associated with constant use of face masks. One would think that considering the source, this type of information would be acceptable to even Big Tech tyrants.

After all, they constantly chide us about following the science. Well, here’s the science…”

And as David Marcus writes at the New York Post courtesy of Ed Hickey, the mindless mask regime might be here to stay, unless YOU resist it, as “the mask fanatics — some of whom hold advanced degrees that make them no wiser as human beings — can’t be reasoned with.”

Here’s the juice: Like Black Lies Matter, the “science” of anthropogenic global warming and the dangers posed by DDT, most if not all of this scamdemic has been one lie built upon another.  David Marcus is right, though what’s scarier still is we’ve seen far too many people who, if told they needed to mask up even in their own homes for the rest of their lives, would willingly comply.  As for us, we’re with Howard Beale:

P.S. Hat tip to the lovely Shannon for the Deletos graphic.

Next up, in one of the more egregious examples of the MSM’s outright lies in furtherance of its mission, we learn how…

Without ANY evidence, MSNBC’s Joy Reid and Glenn Kirschner insinuate Ron DeSantis will be implicated in the sex trafficking ring with Congressman Matt Gaetz and Joel Greenberg involving drugs and hookers.

“…[You] had at least five women, per Politico, you had Gaetz; you had a guy named Jason Pirozzolo, the hand surgeon and GOP fundraiser to Ron DeSantis, who apparently Gaetz wanted to turn into the attorney general of Florida,” she continued. “There’s Halsey Beshears, a former state legislator and former appointed official in the DeSantis administration.

“If you’re Ron DeSantis, does this feel like it’s creeping closer to you?” Reid asked guest Glenn Kirschner, a former federal prosecutor. “Because these are your friends, these are your allies.”

“Yeah, just as Greenberg’s lawyer said about Matt Gaetz when he left the courthouse the other day, he said, ‘You know what, if I were Matt Gaetz, I don’t think I’d be all that comfortable right about now,’” Kirschner claimed. “You have to believe that DeSantis, I mean, these are his boys, these are his guys, right? We’ve seen the pictures. We’ve heard the stories. You have to believe that Ron DeSantis, if he has done anything wrong, feels like things are creeping closer and closer to him.”…”

We’ll file that “if” under “F”, for “Fiction”.

Moving on, we take you to eight items specially selected for inquiring Conservative minds:

(1). In a forward from The Boss, we learn the Pentagon has confirmed the authenticity of video showing UFOs over Navy warship.

Sorry, but we’re of the opinion the ChiComs would be far more interested in our Navy’s activities than aliens, particularly as the CCP has long been granted near open access to our latest technology by an unending string of politicians, businesses, universities and other individuals and entities, both private and public, eager to enrich themselves off the profits to be made cooperating with Communists.

(2). CBS News apparently found it appropriate to crop the bodycam footage of Adam Toledo holding a gun the instant before he was shot.  We shudder to think there’s collusion between the “major” networks, but having seen the CBS coverage, view this Good Morning America report…

…as well as the MSDNC account…

then watch Brandon Tatum’s absolutely MUST-SEE analysis (BELIEVE us, it’s worth every minute and second of your time!)…

…and you tell us who’s lyin‘.  SPOILER ALERT: It’s the MSM and Black Lies Matter!!!

We’ll await the outcome of the investigation, but in the meantime, there are obvious questions inquiring minds want answered, including but not limited to: (i) What was a 13-year-old youngster doing out at 0230 carrying a gun in the company of a 21-year-old male?  And PLEASE, we don’t want to hear the choirboy routine about a kid nicknamed “Little Homicide”, particularly from the mother, father and/or random family members who didn’t know (?!?) “Little Adam” was out on the streets at zero dark thirty; and (ii) If the cop acted improperly, is this not the responsibility of the political leadership and party which has been running Chicago’s justice system since Prohibition ended?  Just askin’.

BTW, if you’re wondering why you haven’t heard reports or seen video of riots over the shooting of Peyton Ham by a Maryland State Trooper we featured last Friday, it’s likely because while the officer involved was White, so was…

…the departed.  Are we the only one detecting a rather dramatic increase in the number of people committing “suicide by police”?!?

(3). Retired LAPD officer Jack Dunphy provides insight into what led to the Brooklyn Center shooting, noting there’s is a common thread that ties together many police-involved killings, even with the horrific mistake at the center of this one:

Some will dismiss what follows as blaming the victim. But if we are to take an honest look at this or any other arrest gone bad, surely we are obliged to consider the conduct of all parties involved, not just the police. It is widely acknowledged among police officers, for example, that Derek Chauvin was wrong in his handling of George Floyd, though there is a range of opinions on Chauvin’s degree of criminal culpability, especially given Floyd’s drug use and medical condition.

What most police officers can agree on is that Floyd would most likely be alive today had he not resisted arrest. The same can be said of Daunte Wright, and for that matter of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and any number of others who have died in controversial police encounters.

For all the talk of enhanced training and emphasis on de-escalation by the police, it is an inescapable fact that some small number of police encounters with the public will result in a use of force, and some small fraction of those will go very, very wrong. When officers seek to arrest a man who would go to great lengths not to be arrested, there is abundant room for error. But in the current social and political climate, only the police are held accountable for their errors.

(4). In a related item, the latest video from Project Veritas reveals CNN ‘s Charlie Chester admitting his fake news network has been “trying to help” Black Lies Matter, but the truth about those perpetrating hate crimes against Asians (as well as Hispanics they mistake for Asians!) is making it difficult.  Don’t you just HATE it when facts get in the way of a good narrative?!?

It should also be noted even the New York Post, which can usually be depended on for accurate, honest reporting, declined in that last link to mention the woman who attacked the 70-year-old Hispanic woman while screaming anti-Asian epithets was Black.

(5). In another related item of censorship, Facebook has removed a New York Post story detailing Black Lies Matter co-founder Patrice

Cullors recent multi-million dollar real estate empire.  Meanwhile, Ms…

Cullors defended her $3M+ home buying spree as part of living her life “in direct support to Black people” and decried conservative media coverage as “racist and sexist“, though how a home in a Topanga Canyon neighborhood which is only 1.4% Black supports “people of color” in any way, shape or form shall remain a mystery, other than providing further proof Patrisse puts the “lies” in Black Lies Matter

(6). In a little ray of sanity in a world gone mad, the WSJ‘s Holman Jenkins relates, when it comes to the climate media vs. climate science, the good news is scientists themselves have started to correct the record.

(7). Speaking of those quite literally out of their minds, courtesy of James Nichols, Andy Ngo tweets so it begins…and Mad Maxine is encouraging it like The Donald never did.

(8). Kommielaa’s recent welcome of Japan’s Prime Minister rather than 46* reminded us of a scene from The King’s Speech in which Wallis Simpson greets the Duke and Duchess of York rather than Edward VII:

It’s possible The Groper was napping, but it’s also likely he didn’t trust himself to properly pronounce…

…Yoshihide Suga’s name.

Which brings us, appropriately enough, to The Lighter Side:

Finally, we’ll call it a wrap with these from Speed…

…our youngest…

…and last, but certainly never least, Balls Cotton, who for some reason recently awoke determined to make us feel old:

FYI, that’s us in the middle.  Here’s another shot of the juice: Life is short, friends, so make the most of the time allotted you count with your family, friends and loved ones, and most importantly, in the service of the God who grants it.
